Klubhaus Bar & Restaurant St. Gallen in St. Gallen

We entered the beautiful bar on a Friday evening at 10:45 p.m. We've been there about 6 times because it's so coolly decorated. We waited 5 minutes for the service and studied the menu. When the young lady arrived, with two drinks in her hands, she explained to the guests present that they had decided that this was the last round and there was nothing left! Later she said that the boss wanted it that way…. We will never enter this restaurant again. No matter how cool it looks.

Cool bar. We were invited to a birthday and there was a small aperitif. Delicious. Exceptional ambience. Friendly staff.

We always enjoy coming back to the clubhouse! The food is fantastic and the service is outstanding. The location is great and we love the atmosphere. I highly recommend it...see you soon!!!

Went there with friends about a month ago. Ordered Pad See Ew ผัดซีอิ๊ว with tofu & vegetables and a Baozi. All the dishes that were served looked so appetising, the taste was sooo delicious too. Everyone was very happy with the food they got. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The manager is wonderful too. Lovely people. One thing about dining at Klubhaus is the acoustics of the room might not be the best so it can get very loud when it’s full. So just keep that in mind and enjoy your meal! 😇😇😇

Waiting times were far too long (several times until the order was on the table) and the food was ultimately cold when it was served. However, it should also be mentioned here that we were immediately served another warm dish. It's a shame for the price you pay.

The atmosphere seems rather cool, as did the staff unfortunately during our visit. It was by far the worst, smallest and most expensive burger I've had. Charging Fr. 28.00 for this is already indecent even if it is beef. We wanted to test the restaurant to make reservations for an event with 60 people. After the dining experience, it was done for me. It's a shame about the good former Spanish restaurant

I've had dinner there twice so far. Price/performance doesn't quite match for me. The quality of the food is good, but they save on meat/fish and the proportion of vegetables is higher. Ambiance is quite nice, maybe it would be worth considering putting partitions between the tables so that it doesn't make so much noise and it would then be even more comfortable.😊 Staff friendly, but no wow effect where you have to say it was exceptional service compared to other restaurants.

A young, dynamic service staff who serves exquisite food and drinks. The prices are very humane and affordable given the quality offered.

Our meal, Korean udon noodles, was very good. And the friendly, young waiter is very polite and accommodating.

Top location, great staff and very tasty food! The Signature Rolls Sushi were particularly amazing - for the eye and the palate. Pleasant atmosphere with sound at perfect volume. I'll definitely be back!

Not recommended. Waited 2.5 hours for our food, which was mediocre and overpriced. Won't come back.

The hidden bar is really great. I can't particularly recommend the food. Compared to the golden ox or the Shanghai in Gossau, it is significantly less tasty. In addition, it is exactly the same as in the other 2 restaurants of this owner (Toscana, the Pinch).. it is extremely reverberant and therefore very loud - you can hardly have a conversation and the crowd is extremely green, which doesn't create the ambience at all.

Fancy sushi with mayo and other curiosities.

The restaurant looks friendlier today, but it just doesn't come close to the old, traditional Spanish clubhouse. It's still very noisy even though the restaurant was only half full. The Asian food is of very good quality and the portions are generous. Prices for a lunch menu are rather on the upper limit. You can safely skip the coffee after your meal. Rarely have I had such bad coffee (half).

The clubhouse is worth a visit, very centrally located and has a special ambience, especially the bar. Located directly behind the main train station, you can easily get there in any way. Of course the parking spaces are not cheap, but you are also “in the middle of it all”. The food was very good, the portions were large and so was the selection. Unfortunately it was a bit more than lukewarm, which I don't think is great. The price level varies depending on the selection. However, due to the size, many guests still have a portion for the next day (we don't). Anyone who knows the clubhouse knows that anyone looking for peace and quiet won't find it here. The acoustics were and are miserable. This doesn't matter if you're a group that wants to have fun, but it's more of a hindrance to a romantic evening for two. In addition, there is very little space between the tables, which means there is little privacy. The bar is pretty extraordinary. Not particularly comfortable or practical, but very special. This is because the bowling alley was converted into a bar, which creates a natural limitation in terms of room size. But just the entrance is special, so we definitely recommend visiting it.

Nice Restaurant with nice atmosphere. Service is nice and attentive. Sushi is very good, but they have to work harder and with much more love on their other plates. Our gyozas where tasteless and cold. Tofu skrewers not good. Cucumber Salad they should cut the Cucumber much thinner, add some sesam oil, garlic , soja sauce, sugar, sesame to it, would be much tastier. Just a little tip. But nevertheless , worth a visit!

Unfortunately nothing has been done with the acoustics, it is still as loud as its predecessors. You can hardly understand your own words when the “store” is full. Even if the menu says “rice” (rice dishes), be careful, the side dishes have to be ordered and paid for separately. 40 minutes waiting time for the starter and 1.5 hours for the main course! Even though we pointed this out to them several times... Yes, we should have just left. When we had already put our jackets on, the "boss" arrived briefly and it seemed as if he was forced to offer us a drink. Never again!

Nice ambience, delicious food, very friendly staff, a bit expensive

Pork belly tasted ok, but just lukewarm. Bangkok duck was disappointing. I guess I caught the “leftover plate” with just the buttocks. They were dry and tough. Add salt to the hoisin sauce and barely cook the vegetables in it. The cherry tomato that got lost in the sauce was probably washed the day before, at least that's how it tasted. In my opinion, salad as a side dish has no place on the plate. The spicy sauce that is served with it is not worthy of any rating. The hidden bar is really cool, I'll definitely go there again.

Very nice cocktails and delicious food in the restaurant. Today was a bit cold inside. The atmosphere in the bar is very cozy. We will come back for sure!

The restaurant has only recently opened, so not everything is in place yet. The ambience is very nice, perhaps we could try to do something about the noise level. I couldn't understand the waiters when they were on the other side of the table of four. The price performance of my starter (bao bun with masaman beef) and main course (pad thai with tofu) were okay. Unfortunately there was no sauce for the bun and the filling was a bit dry, but tasted great. The Pad Thai was huge and tasted good. It was a shame that every guest was asked what level of spiciness they wanted and it wasn't implemented as ordered. Then you'd better ask. The cucumber relish for the satay skewers was excellent, but unfortunately so spicy that it was hardly edible. The menu offers a great selection, so I would come back.
