Ticino flair for the palate and soul. The building has a long cultural history in Rapperswil. The furnishings are very stylishly combined, romantic nostalgia And radiant elegance. Restaurant with terrace and small Sääli. Very friendly and attentive staff who will advise you on your selection, for example with a current recommendation from the hotel. (not on the map) Lunch offer from Monday to Friday e.g. 2 menus with soup or salad, main course and a small dessert with a smaller a la cart selection. In the evening you will find a large selection of classics and homemade dishes on the menu. Various starters, delicious soups such as main courses with meat, fish and pasta dishes, gnocci and fine desserts. The selection of wines is in harmony with the food. The large selection of wines available by the glass is very appealing. Grappa lovers will also have a great time here. Ps top quality with very friendly prices!

We can recommend very fine agnolotti al tartufo and bruschette. Nice service, nice atmosphere on the terrace and good value for money. We'd love to come back.

The insider tip of a bijou with outstandingly tasty cuisine and top service on Upper Lake Zurich. I haven't eaten as deliciously as I did here in a long time. Really a taste experience right from the start. Which proves once again that less is definitely more. No chichi or big fuss, but a clear focus on fresh and delicious things. Small, very fine and absolutely outstanding! You can feel the passion and love for good food and satisfied guests as soon as you arrive and are greeted. Then continue with the starter, the main course and dessert! In addition, a courteous and attentive service who makes you feel warmly welcome and who really listens to your every wish. You quickly get the feeling that you are not sitting in just any restaurant, but with good friends. Great cinema and customer service par excellence! I will definitely come back and can recommend the Kreuzli restaurant without reservation! We are now regular guests and it is always a real pleasure how warmly we are welcomed, how outstanding the consistently high quality of the tasty delicacies and the top service is. Shortly before the kitchen closed (9:30 p.m.) we asked if a table was still available. Kindly given a place. Asked what could be done "quickly" so as not to become an unnecessary burden for the kitchen team and waiters with starters/main courses/desserts/coffee/grappa. Answer: Carbonara. I asked if this was made with cream. Answer: No, it is prepared without cream. After a short time we got carbonara with cream. Bunzlig? Yes, maybe so. I feel like I'm being fooled. 100% Just be honest and tell your customers what's going on. Carbonara with cream is not honest. Dishonesty must be punished. Therefore 1 star. I would have been satisfied with another dish.

I would have given 6 stars. I honestly do not remember when was the last time my family and I ate so tasty, home-made and cozy food in a restaurant. Super delicious. The staff was super friendly and yes, you may have to wait a bit for your food (we came there around 12h30, not many ppl when we came [Saturday and in holiday season] and we waited for 30min.) but its all worth it. Our advice is not come starving and to enjoy your time and appreciate the tastyness of the food, to really enjoy your meal and be relaxed. I attached what we ate. We will definitely come back and I hope they will never change with regards to the quality of the food

The staff was completely overwhelmed. We had to wait 1 hour to get the food after ordering. There was no communication, staff walked around silently and there weren't that many guests. The waiter didn't speak German. There was also a long wait before we could place the order. Certainly 20 minutes. Since we didn't feel like having a starter or dessert anymore and didn't have any time at all, we only ordered a main course and no wine. Despite the nice atmosphere, you can tell that there is stinginess in the wrong place and that the owner wasn't working either. There was a lack of logistics, overview, processes and knowledge of German. The food itself was ok. But the operation and reliability are so important that I would rather not go there anymore. The confidence of having to wait for over an hour again is not there. A pity

A pair of innkeepers from Ticino have recently joined the Kreuzli restaurant. The service is extremely warm, courteous and professional. The ambience is a bit old school and creates a very pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are very fresh, beautifully prepared and taste extremely delicious. I can recommend the burrata as a starter, the homemade gnocchi or the truffle ravioli for the main course and the panna cotta for dessert. However, it always has very good seasonal dishes, which are highly recommended. The prices are absolutely in line with the market and compared to the performance it is definitely worth the money. For me the best restaurant in town! 🌹

The restaurant looks very inviting from the outside and the inside is also cozy and tastefully decorated. The service was absolutely top, very, very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the food excellently. For starters we enjoyed a creamy Jerusalem artichoke soup (from the seasonal menu) and a beef tartare that was both visually and tastefully excellent. The pasta dishes for the main course were also convincing. The Spaghetti Kreuzli are very delicately seasoned, with super tender veal and not drowned in a sauce. Likewise the Linguine Gamberoni, which tasted like the Mediterranean. The portions are so large that unfortunately there was no room for any dessert. Lucky for the next waiting guests who were able to "inherit" our table, because the restaurant was very busy that evening. Reservation is therefore strongly recommended! Many thanks to the Kreuzli landlord and his team for the great evening.

The stay at Kreuzli for lunch during Advent was great. The small restaurant welcomes guests beautifully. Everything that was served at the table was excellent. The fine Merlot and the delicious dessert rounded off the meal wonderfully. The service was friendly and attentive at the same time. The low noise level in the restaurant was extremely pleasant.

They were quick, friendly and attentive. Aperitif, food & wine list ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the green salad, pumpkin soup, spagetti Kreuzli, spagetti vegetarian and gnocchi. Everything tasted very good and was nice to look at. In the case of the spaghetti, which was served perfectly aldente, the oil was at the upper limit for our taste. The homemade tiramisu in the glass tasted good, but because it was in the glass, the liquid collected at the bottom and there was only cream on top. I can't recommend the espresso. We didn't have any wine. Ambiance & furnishings (sound & smells) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cozy, cozy like in a large living-dining room. The noise level is pleasant. Toilets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Clean & well maintained. To avoid being distracting, the toilet doors are covered with curtains tied together, which is very successful. Conclusion ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Good Italian dishes in a cozy, pleasant atmosphere.

The service was kind of ok, but more than 40min to serve the main of the day (basic fries with a Milanese steak) is a bit overdue. Overpriced for the service & food quality. It doesn't deserve its current note.

I am so impressed with the delicious food that I ate here. Super tasty, wonderful flavors, food was AMAZING! I should say that the service in the restaurant is great as well and I think it's great the way each person can feel here, even though when I had my food there it was quite a busy time and there were many visitors, the speed and the service of the staff in general was really great. Whenever I am in Rapperswil it will be my number one restaurant to go! Thanks a lot for a wonderful food and a great service! I recommend!

Already a gem from the outside - the warm little house at the intersection! We were greeted very friendly and immediately given an aperitif. It's truffle time - you can't say no to fine tagliarini with a generous slice of this delicacy on top. Fine! Then a Mediterranean fish and a stroganoff and more truffle pasta. The young team is also very happy! A really great red from Sardinia completes the whole thing. Great attentive service with Schalk and a really nice evening! Thank you very much!

Great location for a nice evening. We were more than satisfied from start to finish. Nothing was left to be desired 🙂 The map is not big, which is not important. But the food is very, very tasty. When I was invited to the Kreuzli for a business event, I was naturally curious at first because I didn't know the place before. I was greeted very friendly right at the door and my jacket was taken away afterwards. That was already the first point. I immediately felt welcome as a guest! What impressed me about the aperitif selection was the wine served. The “greetings” from the kitchen are unsurpassed, a real surprise and not just one but three in number, delicious! My starter, main course and dessert were convincing! Good if I'm honest, except for the fries. They could have inspired me even more! What made up for the small point was the staff! Rarely have I been as impressed by a waitress as the service we were able to enjoy! Even the chefs showed up at the table and I personally think that was great class, old school! For the price, it's rather upper class, but all in all, I'm convinced and can recommend the Kreuzli to my best friends with a clear conscience! Thank you
