La Bamba in Liestal

Disastrous food for far too much money... I probably eat Mexican food even better in Greenland! Never again!

We were well received but we found that the sushi was a bit bland at the price level we were on.

Service arrived 30 minutes late, first the wrong dish was brought and lastly 1 dish was forgotten. Once this store has more than 10 customers, it is overwhelmed. Recommended as a fun experience, otherwise not. Greetings Phileas

In the heart of Liestal, it is a restaurant where we can eat originally Mexican food. Cheerful atmosphere, and in summer we can sit outside. I recommend.

Were there today. Super cozy and a super friendly host. The food was great and tasted great. We would be happy to come back.

Good portions, the dishes are homemade, cozy atmosphere, I can only recommend it if you want a cozy evening with good food and drinks!

Food was good and certainly worth the price. The service definitely needs to be worked on, no full house and very long times just to order drinks and appetizers. Similar with the main course. Drinks were also completely forgotten.

Today we had a wonderful Aztec beef fillet, personally prepared by the chef. It was perfect 🤩😋

Cozy place, super friendly service but we didn’t like the taste of the food too much. Also not sure about the combination of Mexican and Sushi…

We were kind of disappointed. The restaurant was once a sushi restaurant. The atmosphere was more Asian than Mexican. We sat at a shaky table, still had the previous person's food stuck to the table and waited 20 minutes for our rather inedible cocktail. 25 chf for two large glasses of blue colored Prosecco is excessive. It's a shame...unfortunately we won't be coming back. And I can't recommend this place either. We saw some guests with dissatisfied expressions.

The sushi was okay, the nachos before it were super tasty and of course the drinks too! We were served quickly and very friendly! Next time I'll only eat Mexican because I still have to try that 😃! The musicians were also a lot of fun and you actually want to dance straight away 😂! Of course, we'll be back! Hasta luego 🇲🇽

Great presentation, super nicely decorated but the food was nothing special, rather boring and bland, no spices, it's a shame we were disappointed.

The food was very good and you can't complain about the prices either. The service was very friendly and quick. Unfortunately, certain menus looked like they were made from old paper, and the mix of sushi and Mexican atmosphere isn't really my thing.

The food was nice. I ordered food this evening. However our delivery was 45 minute late. So our food was cold. I had the burrito with chicken. My boyfriend had nachos with chilli con carne. He said it tasted nice. However it was not nice eating melted cheese then went cold. As the idea of Nachos are to have stretchy cheese.

Were there on Thursday. At first we waited 10 minutes for service because the gentleman preferred to chat with the regulars. Then a brief hello and taking our order... After 25 minutes our burritos arrived, which were actually quesadillas... When we asked if we'd also received our drinks, the gentleman said "yes, it's our turn"... we actually ordered 2 cocktails I would have liked to drink it before dinner... well then these cocktails came for 12.50 each... my colleague had a full glass with a cheesy strawberry in it and my glass was half full without any decoration... Extremely disappointed... It's a shame. After dinner we cleared away and no one was interested in us anymore...

Fantasy prices?? Certain drinks are not on the menu, so you don't see the price, we had a beer and a water, 11.-?!?! Rip-off at the highest level

The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly and attentive. The live music rounded off the great ambience. The strawberry margheritas are also highly recommended.

We were there on Saturday. After 15 minutes of not being served, we went somewhere else. Otherwise the restaurant is actually very good. Therefore 4 stars…

The sushi is never as bad as it is, especially the rice, which tastes really funny.

Super fine Mexican food. The Pollo burritos are very tasty and I can only recommend them. Service is always very friendly and I will definitely come back...

We had to wait over 1 hour for the starter...the drink that was offered wasn't offered either. We were then able to have an iced tea on the way after we asked. Food was ok. Nothing special. Need to be a little more customer friendly!

A pity. If you can only order by phone, it would also be an advantage if, after countless call attempts, you could do both! Numbers would also go. No matter how busy the current situation may be, taking a call that could bring in money should always be possible...

The portion was big enough, the meat was well seasoned and the service was very friendly. Sitting outside at the nice tables was fun. The only criticism: the meat in the burrito was practically cold, which I thought was a shame. But since it was warm outside, it wasn't that tragic

Unfortunately it was a disappointment, the service staff was overwhelmed and didn't even give us cutlery. Unfortunately, the nachos as an appetizer were also forgotten. The food (Mexican) was good, but the selection was very limited and the price was too high. Maybe the whole thing just needs a while to get going. I'll probably try again in 3 months.
