Nach den ersten Rezensionen hier war ich skeptisch aber let's give it a try.++ Service, Freundlichkeit, Kompetenz etc, (wir hatten eine Aushilfe die aber sehr gut war)+++ Frische (hatte bisher noch kein frischeres Sushi in der Region als das, unglaublich)++ Qualität, Erscheinungsbild, das Auge ist mit+ Wir hatten sehr wenig Verpackungsmüll+ kostenlose Edamame als Überraschung bei einer grossen Bestellung (Danke!)- - Ausser bei den Sashimi war der Fisch ein bisschen zu dünn geschnitten. Das wurde hier schon mal bemängelt, ein kleines bisschen dicker wäre schön um auf gleicher Augenebene mit anderen zu sein- Der Reis war ein bisschen zu süss/sauer und penetrant - ein wenig mehr hätte es auch getan. Aber: Er hat gut geklebt und Konsistenz war gut. Ich hätte es nicht gedacht aber als Alternative zur Stadt kann ich dieses Sushi Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Für 2 Personen war der Preis sehr angemessen - solange es nicht teurer wird werden wir nun hier öfters was holen als in die Stadt zu fahren (wenn ich bei Freundin auf dem Land bin). Das Kyoto in Liestal ist ein echter Mehrwert im Baselland.

Wir hatten 2 verschiedene Platten bestellt, die Menge für 2 Personen absolut ausreichend. Leider musste ich von der Gesamtbewertung aber 2 Punkte abziehen:Die Lieferung kam in einer Papiertüte. Der Essenslieferant/-in muss im Auto dermassen geraucht haben, denn als ich die Tüte drinnen öffnen wollte kam mir schon der grässliche Zigarettenrauch entgegen. Auch die mitgelieferten Stäbchen und Servietten stanken nach Zigarettenrauch. Zum Glück verschloss die Plastikbox recht gut, sodass die Sushi nicht nach Zigaretten geschmeckt haben.Sorry Leute, aber wenn es ums Essen geht, dann könnt ihr das nicht machen! Essen geht nicht nur durch den Magen sondern zuallererst durch die Nase. Per Lieferung werde ich deshalb nicht mehr bei euch bestellen. Schade.

Der Koch hat wohl keine grosse Erfahrung.....Die Bedienung auch nicht so toll, gestresst, unaufmerksam, fehl am Platz.Schade um den schönen Standort.....

Sushi gibt es wohl nirgends „billig“ und sollte auch nicht. Eine Portion Edamame für CHF 4.50 finde ich günstig, im Coop und Migros sogar teurer. Auswahl ist gut, den Sushi-Köchen kann man beim rölleln zu sehen. Wurden zuerst gefragt ob wir mexikanisch oder Sushi essen wollen, da beides angeboten wird (1 Eingang, 2 Restaurants). Mittwochs gibt es all-you-can-eat am Förderband für CHF 38.- pro Person. So ein Angebot erhält man nach unserer Erfahrung sonst nur in Deutschland. Hatte kein Platz mehr frei direkt am Förderband, probieren wir das nächste mal aus. Haben zu Zweit eine Sushiplatte für ca. CHF 62.- bestellt. War gut und von allem etwas dabei.
