Very good time spent in your brewery. Very friendly staff, excellent food, warm place.

We have had two excellent meals in this lovely restaurant. The food is authentic, plentiful, beautifully cooked and presented. The room is full of atmosphere, busy but not overwhelming and conducive to a relaxing meal. The service is polite, attentive and friendly. Our new go to place in Lausanne!

A restaurant that deserves some effort to get there. In the historic center of the city, the setting is welcoming and the upstairs room is in a lovely style with its impressively sized bar. It is possible to have a drink as well as to eat there. The menu is attractive and the prices affordable.

Always a nice atmosphere as well as the service. This time a little disappointed by the slightly dry sauerkraut meat.

What an excellent find! This restaurant has everything one wants in a dinner out, excellent atmosphere, great food, good wine selection, and excellent service. All that without the snooty atmosphere one usually finds in top Swiss restaurants. A wonderful dining experience.

I can't help but express my disappointment. If the roesti were excellent, the minced veal that accompanied it was overcooked and dry despite the sauce. Only the starter (lion's tooth salad) and dessert (floating island) were out of the ordinary.

I wanted a good sauerkraut, however I was disappointed when I saw the dish arrive because I found it not very generous. The taste wasn't there either. At more than CHF 40.- per plate, I expected much better.

The main room is sumptuous, a place I like. Warm welcome and impeccable service The cooking part was in my opinion less mastered, but I guess that was an accident.

A cozy bistro with a good menu and friendly staff Delicious tender steak and an extensive hamburger sandwich. However, the bottle of wine we ordered was not exactly as shown on the menu. Instead of 22 months, it had been aged in wood for 16 months, we only saw it after opening. A difference that you can clearly taste. This was also delicious, but the waitress did not want to make any concessions regarding the price under any circumstances. Also no compensation in the form of a free drink. Shame!

La Bavaria is a must-see place in Lausanne. Its atmosphere is special, the narrow tables, the paths that reason (without being deafening) the service careful but without fuss. And the prime rib: a treat, accompanied by a magnificent béarnaise and pepper sauce....
