Excellent varied cuisine. Tunisian couscous is a real treat.

A very nice family restaurant, top vegetarian couscous and empty-handed hunting 😋. Just the pizzas are not their hit and a little downside on the salad with a can of pineapple in winter (Swiss apples are better!!!) and no sauces without cream.

The carillère sauce is killer :-)

Great little place on the outskirts of Lausanne. Very friendly welcome and service. Pretty plate of perch fillets with a very good value for money. The cooking of the beef fillet medallions is perfectly mastered and they are very tender.

Original place and perfect couscous

We requested a table on the terrace given availability. The waiter tells us that everything is reserved. We take a table inside. 2 tables remained unoccupied until 1:30 p.m. when we finished. and the 3rd remained. When we mentioned it, he responded aggressively that these tables were reserved and he could not give them away. Don't we ask for the arrival time when you block a table? The rosé requested was not cold, this same waiter always told us that he had nothing else to offer us....The food, as usual, was good but this gentleman was really unfriendly. Damage!

I ordered the Malakoff salad as a starter and the couscous as a main course. The starter was ok but, not the best Malakoff I've tasted, acceptable. The couscous was good. Maybe the cooking of the meats wasn't perfect, but it was okay. Very warm and friendly service. Fair prices. Quiet and pleasant terrace.

Warm welcome in a slightly aging establishment. Prices are lower than normal for equivalent or higher quality, at least as far as meat is concerned. It's a way to travel from couscous to pizza, including meat on a slate and pasta.

For my part I took the suggestion of the day, rare sirloin steak with morel sauce accompanied by fries. I wonder if they were fried in beef fat. Very warm welcome, fast service. Very good couscous, that's normal, the chef is Tunisian. I had the vegetarian couscous, a treat! Nice portion with a wide variety of vegetables: carrots, fennel, zucchini and nice green peppers, tasty and not too hot. All served with marga and harissa. I haven't tried the rest of the menu but given the quality of the couscous I have no doubts.

Excellent couscous!!!!! Grilled on slate with sauce, fresh vegetables and fries, and for the starter a delicious mushroom fricassee: a delight! Friendly, smiling staff and fast service with always a smile!

I go there mainly for the food, I have never been disappointed, the tagine or the game dishes are top. The server is very attentive. It's a little noisy but that's normal, as the food is good there, people jostle at the gate.

Went recently with my wife and it's always a pleasure to enjoy a meal there. The terrace is quiet and the cuisine is very tasty. As usual, the servers are smiling and available to answer all our requests. We look forward to being able to come back and eat couscous soon.

During a hike, not being from the region, we discovered this restaurant by chance. We were warmly welcomed by all the caring staff, by a VERY NICE waitress and by the owner of the “La Carillère” establishment. Everyone is very welcoming and smiling! Traditional couscous is delicious, it’s a treat! The perch fillets are hearty and truly excellent! The service is fast and very careful! I came to the Carillère restaurant by chance after a long hike at lunchtime and the hunting lodge ambience was perfect. I ate the soup of the day and a mixed salad. Both were delicious. The service was extremely courteous and attentive.

I spent a good time there on the terrace this summer and I would have happily given it 4/5. Inside today, my experience is much less pleasant and it is only because a large “give your opinion on Google” sign encourages me to do so that I am here. Zero service, just OK food but above all a customer, who must have been the boss given his attitude, was yelling into his hands-free phone at the next table. Detestable. Restaurateur is a real service profession, not just a way to make a little money and a cantonal service license is not enough to please a demanding customer. I will perhaps try the terrace again next summer but until then I will seek my pleasure elsewhere.

Visited twice for professional meals. Good quality cuisine. Menu prices are correct. During our first visit, the service was very fast, however during our second visit, the service was slow (40 minutes of waiting for the single waitress to come and take our order; there was certainly an organizational problem for the service this time.

Magnificent place, unfortunately the chef must not have had a good day for the fondues: good but too liquid base, we sent it back to rectify it, it came back the same. We were given wholemeal bread which was falling apart in the fondue... after 10 minutes we had more of a bircher than anything else. The wine was good and the service very pleasant.

After the beloved film I Shrunk the Kids here is the rest: Honey I shrunk the pizzas. Shameful pizzas for the price. they invented the cookizza and the floating pizza. Let me explain = Micro pizza like and as dry as a cookie And sprinkled with oil instead of mozzarella. Putting oily cookies in a microwave to make pizzas would be the exclusive recipe of the house. Ps=Be careful of the expiration date of the beers... It has already happened to us that they sell us expired beers... All the local pizzas are cheaper and better Run away, poor fool!!!!
