Lovely quiet meal with my daughter. Staff friendly and efficient and the food was wonderful! Truffle pasta and lamb cooked in two ways with couscous. Ended with a creamy tirimisu topped with espresso ice! Wonderful way to end Sunday!

I don't understand how people can be positive about this. The menu ordered is usually something that should be good for 105 CHF. It was really bad: langoustines with the intestinal tract still in them and all kinds of vegetables that did not fit. Second dish Meatballs hit your stomach like a log, taste was mediocre. Third dish Sea bass was well cooked but lacked flavour. Only the dessert received a passing grade!

Too bad, given the reviews, the appearance of the place and the prices displayed, we expected a better experience. To begin with, the reception was not one. We were just shown our table. No aperitif offer either. We were accompanied by a child and there was no offer of a child's chair. As for the dishes, for a menu of 2 starters, 1 main course and 1 dessert at CHF 105, the wait was high, especially in comparison with other restaurants in the area that we have already visited. The dishes were not bad or bad. However, no originality, few flavors and tastes. There was no consistency or connection between the ingredients of the dishes. Very disappointing in taste. Additionally, the waiting time between the first cold starter and the second was relatively long, approx. 45 mins. The dishes were left on the table until the next course. As for the service, it seems that the team is novice because the servers were present but never cleared, no active service of wine or drinks. Everything is on request. The service seemed overwhelmed without the room being full. In addition to the prices of the dishes being too high, the wines are also overpriced compared to other restaurants. The waiter misled us by indicating that the restaurant was the only one with certain references because they had exclusivity. We realized it was wrong the same evening in another bar. We won't go back there again, too bad.

Delicious cuisine and as a bonus we have a view of the chef's work from the room. A very friendly chef with whom we were able to chat after the service. We will come back without hesitation.

Marco Bassi's restaurant is a welcomed jewel in a town full of overpriced mediocre restaurants. Not only was the food incredibly delicious, it was inspired - the chef is truly creative and obviously having fun creating a memorable dining experience. His kitchen is beautiful and like a stage. As someone who suffers with a food allergy, I was so appreciative of his care in making sure that the dishes he served me didn't feel like a consolation prize. So often I feel like an imposition because of my food allergy - but the dishes he created made me feel special! I highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the gourmet restaurant did not meet our expectations. Although the first course was surprisingly good, the following courses were disappointing and not of the same standard. In particular, the taste and presentation of the dishes left a lot to be desired. The tuna mentioned in the menu was missing. The price-performance ratio was also inadequate compared to the quality of the food. Overall our visit was disappointing and we probably won't be back.

Terrible service. We waited 20 min for to place our order while there was only 3 tables at friday night. The food has nothing special. Truffle pasta was horrible with super much cream on it. We ordered asparagus meal as a started but the waiter forget it. But the most worse part was the chef. He has been eating from every plate that he prepares for every single person in the restaurant. I can understand a chef may would like to check if the food he serves ok or not but do you need the taste the pasta with your hands before you serve to your customer ? Or chips ? Or the sauce of the meal after you serve it? Worse restaurant at swiss alps probably in the world as taste and price.

Fine, perfectly balanced, a cleverly orchestrated explosion of flavors! The restaurant is cozy and the chef is always with us because the kitchen is intelligently almost integrated into the room for a guaranteed “home-like” effect. A refined and warm setting. The chef, in addition to being starred and talented, is very accessible and kind. An exceptional experience for me that I hope to repeat soon.

Absolutely overpriced. We were 5 people and spent 180 chf EACH for one main each, 3 starters, 3 desserts and 2 bottles of wine. To start with we asked for cocktails and it took 40’ to receive them. The barman had left so someone else decided to improvise (no one told us that the bar man was gone) and brought us terrible drinks (instead of margarita we got something closer to a lemon juice) and obviously we had to pay full price for them. The mains were good but definitely not worth the price we paid. The ‘best’ part was the waitress offering us to try an off menu starter (risotto with truffle) that ended up being 50chf (obviously she didn’t mention the price) for the size of an appetizer. When we got the bill she also had the audacity to ask for a tip and gave us some attitude when we ‘only’ tipped her 40 chf. Overall i could have stopped the review saying that the restaurant was ok but overpriced but the attitude of the waitress together with the bill we received made me really feel that this is the classic restaurant where making money comes before customer service.

Do not expect value for money here! Whilst the restaurant is a nice settting and a friendly team, paying 65 fr for a pasta is a stretch. Also, another trick they try is coming to the table and serving you water thats 12fr per bottle, without barely asking. Better value / quality elsewhere

The most horrible experience I have ever had in Europe. The service was beyond unacceptable. It took over an hour and a half to get one dish. The waiter was too busy to attend to us. By the time the food came it was undercooked by far. The start was horrendous and we do not know why we stayed... I do not recommend it with the same staff. On top of it all he had the audacity to ask for a good tip.

Warm, intimate place, all looks are welcome from sophisticated to simple, here everyone is important. The menu is regularly changed, I have eaten there several times, without being a regular. An intimate place also means a small team, there is a real Chef there, anxious, sensitive, demanding, creative, with great talent and who puts all his heart into it. It's not often that we have a leader who is so close to the people. Obviously the refined, elegant and exquisite cuisine, of a very high level combined with a simplicity of manners is sometimes not appreciated. That being said, the service remains very good and warm and we do our best. If, on the other hand, a person is looking for a hotel or brasserie-style service, this is not the place. The cooking is heavenly, with lots of contrast in the flavors expressed. it's like an art house film in a cocoon. It's really a place that I recommend.

10 minutes of waiting to get the menu under the pretext that the waiter must at the same time offer the chef's suggestions which are in fact the most expensive dishes and whose prices are of course not displayed. I had to ask two waiters for butter only to be told there was none. The steak was tender but the accompaniments were lukewarm for the fries and cold for the vegetables. Béarnaise is served in a pot for two which is actually an individual pot. The service is almost non-existent and the waiters never come by to ask if everything is okay. We had to get up to ask for extra béarnaise from a second waiter who took 10 minutes to arrive when our meats were already finished. In short, extremely disappointed by this totally overrated restaurant. A real disappointment from a culinary point of view and especially in terms of the service which was pitiful. The Runner who welcomed us still told us: "I can't bring you the menus otherwise I'll get yelled at by the waiter." In short, class.

This place has changed. A new head chef is here and they done away with specialties like raclette and fondue so don't expect that based on previous reviews. The food is more of a Mediterranean feel and was a little overpriced. The waiter didn't speak good English so was a little difficult ordering. The soup was a little of small portion and would help if they bring spoons before the soup. Otherwise food was good and the recommendations they make for the wine is pretty good. It's under new management so hopefully they will improve.

Had the fondue "Glayarde" the meat was the best meat I have tasted to date.... And I've been around for a while. The marination and preparation made it tender and tasty all by itself. Then the variety of sauces, broth and fresh vegetables made it unbeatable. Staff was friendly and offered great recommendation for wines and starters. Overall extremely happy.
