La Cour Café - Bar in Basel

A bit hidden and much bigger than you think from the outside. Food was very good.

Was at La Cour Café Bar for the first time today and I have to honestly say that it was a very nice experience. Great atmosphere, a little hidden but absolutely beautifully decorated.

I was very disappointed with my lunch today. I found the consistency of the Coq au Vin sauce to be much too thick and the mushrooms didn't seem fresh to me. When I saw the beautiful ambience and the dessert display, I had completely different expectations. The service, however, was very friendly, personable and warm.

Very nice and cool place in Base old town. The main area has a glass roof make it very light. The atmosphere is enjoyable for a coffee, glass of wine, beer or even to eat

Cozy place to relax and watch the goings-on in Schneidergasse on the terrace. It is also cozy inside and invites you to linger. Good weekly menus and delicious small dishes (the sandwiches are so good!). The wine list also leaves nothing to be desired. We can only rave about the friendly and attentive staff.

La Cour offers some of the friendliest and most attentive service that I have experienced in Basel! There are three distinct sections inside which can no doubt accommodate whatever atmosphere one is looking for. I have seen them host some parties there and people looked happy and well taken care of. It's worth checking out!

Perfect! The 2 spritzes were very good. The staff very welcoming and friendly. Several restaurateurs make efforts to speak in French and Hochdeutsch.

We had our monthly business lunch at La Cour Café and it was one of the best meals ever! The location, the atmosphere, as well as the food itself were really great and not to forget, the staff was really friendly and very professional. Whether for a business lunch, a date or meeting friends at the bar, we recommend it to everyone. Definitely won't be there for the last time!

Came here for a drink as it looked cosy and inviting. Quite a large place with three different seating areas. We sat in the lowest area which was cosy and perfect for a glass of wine. Staff are friendly. Wine was great.
