Pizza was very good, but I've eaten slightly better pizzas for the price. Service good but rather impersonal. The ambience would be very great, but that evening there was a large group in the restaurant who were seated in the middle of the restaurant and so it was very loud.

For a Gault & Millau restaurant, we were very disappointed. When it came to the pizza with vegetables, the vegetables were tough and sometimes inedible. 2 people took the remaining pizza with them. I asked for mine to be put in a box and not in aluminum foil because it was still half a pizza. This was ignored. On the way home I did a quick check and realized I had received the wrong pizza. In addition, it was folded up like a sandwich... Doesn't speak for a restaurant like this.

What a place! From tens of Italian restaurants (including those in Italy as well) this one is the most exquisite one, the tastiest one and the best one! Meals are magnificent, staff is amazing and literally everything is as it should be or better! Grazie mille for such a gorgeous memories 🇮🇹😍

We visited after spending the day at Mt. Rigi, so we were extremely hungry. The food was incredible. I ordered the sea bass and my fiance ordered the black truffle pasta. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and the risotto complimented it well. The black truffle pasta had great flavor. It was a great dining experience and I recommend checking it out if you are in Lucerne.

A special highlight of my stay in Lucerne was the meal at La Cucina with friends, which was simply outstanding. I enjoyed tagliatelle with black truffle as a starter and rack of lamb as a main course. It was awesome! For dessert I treated myself to a delicious tiramisu, which was really delicious, but contained a little too much mascarpone and a little too few ladyfingers for my taste. The service was extremely courteous and quick. Ll be back soon:)

Food was very tasty and good service. A birthday was celebrated at another table, the lights were completely turned off for the surprise and we sat in the dark with excessively loud music.

Food was amazing. My husband had three chefs menu, which was pasta, plati forti and dessert for 89, amazing price. I had pasta and pizza (plates are big!) and they gave me biscotti with my tea, I didn’t need any dessert honestly. I recommend 100% if you are in Luzern.

Food is cooked to perfection! Delicious ravioli with porcini mushrooms, pumpkin soup , fresh burrata and pana cotta .. service is good but little slow.. possible because on Saturday evening is crowded. Restaurant and food is very good ! Highly recommended ☺️

Had a business meeting with lunch here. The food was super delicious, the service was extremely friendly and accommodating. There is a daily menu with menus, and you can also order à la carte. I would definitely like to come back.

If I want to eat comfortably in a restaurant that isn't exactly cheap, I don't want to be told that my 2 hours of “meal time” have been used up.

Great professionalism and courtesy, a corner of Lucerne where you can feel like you are in Italy. Raimondo number 1: For me the icon of the place: quick, kind and very nice, the true waiter of the past now unobtainable, very great! Very tender and perfectly cooked meat, risotto 10+!

Lovely atmosphere but the food was so-so. The grilled sea bass was delicious, however, the tomato soup was too salty and pizza was not as expected. Food was served all at once so it was a bit inconvenient especially that the table was small. Overall we liked the place and the attentiveness of the waiters. 🌟

I was very disappointed with my visit to La Cucina. We had the table for 2 hours and after 1.5 hours I politely asked if we could wait another 20 minutes for dessert. The waiter denied this, saying that the table would be passed on straight away. The proud bill was then presented to us without asking. If you can no longer enjoy comfort and peace at these prices, then a visit to the restaurant is no longer worth it. The food was also average.

Even if the restaurant is full, you will receive a very friendly welcome here. Food very fine. Service impresses with commitment and Italianità. The Chef de Service shows particular interest in ensuring that the guest feels comfortable and leaves the restaurant happy at the end. The only negative point: it is quite loud when the restaurant is full.

Always when I go there I feel I am in Italy. The food is just great and the service is wonderful!! Always a pleasure to be your guest!!

My husband and I took a day trip to Luzern during our 5-day stay in Switzerland and decided to make a reservation here for dinner. The reviews wowed us, but after the start of our meal, we were a bit turned off. The waitstaff brought over a basket of bread with only one piece in it, which clearly must've been reused (accidentally), but it was off-putting. We asked for another basket and it was replaced. Throughout the meal, the waitstaff kept changing and seemed a bit awkward as they very closely reached around/over us...the space outside was a bit cramped but it just wasn't a very comfortable experience overall. Lastly, the food is fine, but definitely overpriced for what it is and although it's to be expected in Switzerland; I don't think it was worth the cost. It was also the first time we were asked if we'd like to tip. If that's a concern, then a seat charge should be implemented.

We were a group of 14 and found the service good. The friendly staff made us feel welcome. The dishes were tasty but a little too small. The price was reasonable and the atmosphere was cozy.

The food is spectacular, I may have had the best pasta w/black truffles of my life. And Bobby was the best Maitre’D/server ever. We spent 9 days in Europe and dined in a Michelin star restaurant, but this was our best dining experience of the trip. Just remember they don’t sing or do anything special for bdays/anniversaries, they BLOW IT UP and drop the mike!!!

This restaurant is famous in Lucerne and is the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at. Whether it's the main course or dessert, you won't be disappointed. In particular, the dessert tiramisu is a must-have dish for us. Although it was a family trip during our few days stay, we were treated like home here and had a wonderful sumptuous dinner. If you ever have the opportunity to travel to Lucerne on vacation, this restaurant is a must-choose and you will definitely not be disappointed. Hiroshi Nakamura 09-16-2023

The service got 4 stars because they forgot one order and then cooked it fast after we reminded him, but overall the food is great... we had la cucina pizza (without the ham) and it was perfecto!, also we had white sauce penne pasta with black olives and chesse it was fresh and amazing too, lastly (the forgotten one) the penne pesto pasta.. amazing all of the ingredients is fresh and delicious. 10/10! So friendly and kind staff, I ordered a virgin mojitos and it wasn't on the menu but they did it any ways and it was good 😋 note : the tiramisu is with alchohol and they did tell us so we had the pina cotta instead, it was very good... 😋😋😋😋 They take long time to prepare but over all I will visit again, definitely

First of all, we were impressed by the atmosphere. The service, attention and professionalism of the waitstaff were very high. As for the food, the sauces, pasta, and pizzas were incredibly delicious and truly outstanding. The prices were quite reasonable for a quality place and meal. Despite not having a reservation, their effort to accommodate us and set up a table was a nice gesture.

The cuisine is excellent but is unfortunately undermined by terrible service (snob, pretentious and rude) and a noisy room where the poor opera singer of the background music painfully pierces the permanent hubbub of customers.

I was well attended to at the entrance, after I asked for a menu in French, the waiter simply ignored me and went to serve other tables. As is obvious, I got up and left.

This restaurant in the heart of Lucerne serves a traditional Italian cuisine which is divine. All our dishes were perfectly executed, cooked and seasoned perfectly, using excellent products. The service is both professional and friendly. It is definitely one of the best Italian cuisine I have had in my life, at the same time simple and very refined, hats off. PS : as you can often expect in Switzerland this restaurant is pretty expensive.

Really have to say top restaurant! 1. Thank you for the great service. It was the little things that made the difference! Very very friendly staff; communicative, helpful when choosing and I always think it's great when the staff know what to recommend! I felt very comfortable! 2. The food was almost perfect. I had saffron risotto with tender veal schnitzel with chanterelles. The risotto was 4/5. But the schnitzel was almost perfect (5/5) and with the sauce and mushrooms it was simply delicious! We recommend! 3. the ambience was also very nice! You felt very comfortable and matched the whole atmosphere in the restaurant! Even if the price is slightly higher; I would highly recommend the restaurant for special occasions.

Nice cream gamberi rosotto (46Fr), and beef steak with potato(Filetto di Manzo, 59.5Fr). So kind and delicious :) This is a restaurant attached to the hotel. I made a reservation through Google Reservation! It wasn't on the menu, but it looked delicious on Google photos, so I showed the photo and ordered it, and they kindly made it for me. Due to a miscommunication, there were two menus with different toppings, but they resolved this by allowing me to take them right away. I left my coat and I had already gone about 300m, but he chased me and kindly brought it to me. Italian atmosphere :)

We waited 30 minutes until we could order the drinks. At the end it was all about ordering the dessert and paying the bill. The food was great. The prices were extremely high. The location is quite dark and the tables are so close to each other that you can't help but overhear other people's conversations.

Far too expensive for the performance. For 44.- tuna tartare, which was completely tasteless. No vegetables or spices on it, very disappointing. 16.- for a bit of soup, 6.- for a glass of water, 8.- for a glass of beer. 14.- for green salad, which then had to be seasoned with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. My water glass was filled over my dinner plate, which was unpleasant. Splashed white wine was served with a plastic straw. Who drinks wine through a straw? As a final snack we were served rock-hard Ghiottini. Overall disappointing, won't come here again.

Was there yesterday with the family. The food tastes very good (meat, fish, shrimp, risotto) and the service staff is very friendly. We had a fun evening. We would like to come again.

The pasta is delicious. I tried the ravioli and a second type with red sauce and cheese. It is delicious and the service is wonderful 👍🏻👍🏻

Very good pizza! I wasn't very impressed with the other main courses, but the pizza is really great. The best I've ever eaten with you. The service does its best, but always makes small mistakes. But these are justifiable, nothing bad. They also make up for their mistakes because everyone is really trying hard. It wasn't our first visit and certainly not our last! It's great that there are still good restaurants in Lucerne!

Food was great. Ordered the pizza and various spaghetti dishes. Ambience was very nice and elegant. Minor faults was for such a place they charged 5 CHF for tap water (aka Lucerne water on the bill). Service level could be more tentative & proactive.
