During the walk at the lake today in Geneva, I went to café at the lake Les Glaces du Jet d'Eau with my croissant. I sat at the table and I ordered a coffee. Waiter and manager who was there told me aggressively that I am not allowed to eat the croissant and that I have to buy their croissant if I want to eat croissant. It shocked me a lot, they were also aggressive and told me urgently to leave the premises with my croissant. I am surprised and shocked that something like this happens in Geneva. I do not recommend you to visit Les Glaces du Jet d'Eau if you do not want to be attacked by Server and manager Les Glaces du Jet d'Eau. During the lakeside walk today in Geneva, I went to the lakeside café Les Glaces du Jet d'Eau with my croissant. I sat down at the table and ordered a coffee. The waiter and manager who was there aggressively told me that I was not allowed to eat the croissant and that I had to buy their croissant if I wanted to eat a croissant. This shocked me a lot, they were also aggressive and told me to leave the place urgently with my croissant. I am surprised and shocked that something like this happens in Geneva I don't recommend you to visit Les Glaces du Jet d'Eau if you don't want to be attacked by waiter and caffe manager Les Glaces du Jet d'Eau.

This Ian maybe one of the best places I had burger and coffee in Geneva ! I was surprised with the food We asked for chicken, burger , coffee and beer , we all sat together and enjoyed the weather, the scenes and the food

My husband, I and our 2 children ate this Monday, August 21 in this exceptional place. Very warm welcome from the whole team and in particular from Mr Mirza. There were a few bees with the ice cream and Mr Mirza was great, he found a trick to make them go away. Thank you again because my son was able to have lunch peacefully and so were we. The view is magnificent over the water jet and the dishes were plentiful and excellent. Thanks again !

Very pleasant location with a view of the water jet but unfortunately not enough to counterbalance the pitiful service. The waiter came every minute to see if we had finished our drinks and was quick to collect everything very quickly, we felt watched and stressed to finish quickly. He orders us to move our stroller and asks us to move it in direct sunlight even though it was in no way obstructing the passage. The establishment is poorly named, TO FLEE

Place right next to the Geneva Water Jet Fountain.. At times, you'll experience sprays from this fountain even though it's almost 100+ metres away due to the breeze.. Makes for a unique experience.. Quick service.. Helpful staff.. But be prepared to shell out a premium for most items on the Menu..

Beautiful café/restaurant/gelato on Lac Leman with a stunning view of the jet d’eau. My favorite place to have a drink with a good book on a sunny day. Very friendly staff and delicious gelato assortments.

The place is just incredible with a breathtaking view of the water jet, the service is pleasant, the waiters are busy but polite, courteous and efficient. I don't really recommend the restaurant section without much interest: the hamburger and the margherita pizza are not great restaurants - they are edible but for me the quality/price ratio is not there. On the other hand, an ideal place for a drink or more.

Nice retro style place with tables on the lakeside almost close to the water jet. The crepes are good. Prices as high as in all of Geneva.

I went there today with 3 friends, DISASTROUS EXECRABLE service and so on, the manager is not honest, we had ordered 2 grenadine syrups which cost 2.50 when they arrived at the bill they counted them for us 9.80 for both. As far as I know, 2.50 multiplied by two makes 5. Then we went to see the manager and they told us that when we don't have money we stay at home and don't come to Geneva. Do you find it normal? It's not a question of not having money, it's a question of not scamming people I really don't recommend this restaurant.

Pitiful service, the manager treats his customers like tramps that if they don't have money they have to stay at home. Beautiful setting but ZERO customer service I would never set foot there again

I went to this fantastic ice cream shop in front of the lake with the water jet. My family and I took two giant cones full of delicious Sicilian pistachio ice cream, just like when I go on holiday in Sicily. My son enjoyed the crepes. Very kind staff. Highly recommended

Gelateria artesanale La Dolce Vita, The perfect place to stop and enjoy the view of the Jet d'Eau while drinking a refreshing Hugo spritz during summer. Looking forward for another trip to Geneva to repeat the experience.

Terrible service, Switzerland is in bad shape...

The wonderful location on the lake shore and in front of the Geneva fountain makes up for the fact that the sandwiches served are small and expensive but still good. We took two sandwiches with tomato and mozzarella (there was also pesto inside although not declared), 1 Coca Cola and 1 water and we spent 30 francs.

I really recommend, inexpensive, friendly team. I love going there when I go to Geneva by the lake towards the jet d'eau

Catastrophic service, they don't calculate the customers. You sit there and no one comes to serve you and when you ask, they tell you it's closed during the day.

Consumer prices too expensive. Not good beer. The cooked dishes leave something to be desired, terrible pizza reheated in the microwave. They serve you overpriced salad, even though it's M-Budget.... Yes, I saw the salad bags. Much too expensive for what it is. Hygiene is also frankly questionable. It's up to you to try...If it's just to see the water jet, it's not worth it.

Contrary to its name, we don't just eat ice cream. The piadines are very good. The paninis are a little less refined but OK. The ice creams are excellent. The service is a little messy but the waiters are smiling The view of the water jet is a plus.

Fantastic view/great staff/unhygienic incident We had a snack for lunch at Gelateria Artigianale a few days ago. It was a very nice open local, with attentive staff and reasonable prices. But unfortunately the wrong ciabatta's were brought to us, we started eating the salad and the waiter brought the right ones, which in itself wasn't a problem. But he simply brought our plates two tables away to the right guests, our already eaten plates. I really would have liked to give it 5 stars, but if I imagine that plates that have already been eaten would be served fresh, I just have to deduct 2 stars.

A bit pricey, but my mango sorbet was good.

Great location, right in front of the huge Geneva fountain. It has good drinks and ice creams, the prices are a bit steep!!

Bad experience today, I ordered two mojitos without alcohol, they did add alcohol. I went to ask for it and the gentleman said that I had ordered a virginito and that that was what I had ordered. Except that when we specify alcohol-free it means alcohol-free even if we choose the wrong drink. 30fr in the trash… I would definitely come back

I ordered a Margherita pizza and got a cheese pizza, no fresh mozzarella, no basil. I kindly tried to give it back and the owner got really aggressive with me to the point that I was scared and uncomfortable. I paid to avoid confrontation as I am a solo female traveler. Don’t go here.

What a last category service, from one server to another the way of addressing customers remains just as deplorable and very amateurish. They also probably have too much money not to want to serve an unfortunate cup of ice cream or anything to snack on 20 minutes before closing. Too bad to have such an operation with such a location, zero points!

The ice creams are excellent and that's why we came there for the first time. While walking in the evening, we passed by it again and the welcome was great, we decided to eat there. The burger is a success (for those who like the whopper), the beer is good, the spritz too... The pizza is not great but it was a basic that my daughter liked.. We will return there with pleasure.

I adore! It's on the edge of the lake, there's life all around. We don't feel isolated, but we have the impression of taking a nice big pot of fresh air which does us good. Yes, I recommend this terrace without hesitation.

Very cheap products used and our drinks were from a soda bottle, warm and stale, Even for Geneva its over priced and if I had known how bad the food is before I wouldn't have bothered, I'm glad the waiter didn't ask for a tip as it would have been embarrassing for him to hear what I thought of the place in front of others.

Great artisanal ice creams just a stone's throw from the water jet. However, some flavors were a little too sweet and gourmand and the prices were a bit high, but this is justified by its privileged position.

Here 1FCH=1€ supposedly it's a service...the service is well paid for! ...CB 20minimum with them the price on the menu is 2.5 for lemonade and 2.5 for syrup with water and 4.5 for Monaco on paper it can be ok but seeing the bill 😱 20FCh including 9fch for 2diabolo 2fch for the total syrup 11FCh just for children... FYI, a diabolo is lemonade with syrup... Review your classics and take Calculus lessons... I think that CP level will be enough... A word to the wise... Flee! 😱👿

Extremely rude, it almost seems like a nuisance

hello following a walk with my girlfriend along the quay we wanted to eat at this little cabin restaurant to taste their specialty. I would like to point out that this is the first time that I have rated this low. My explanations below: 1 Swiss franc already corresponds to 1 euro for them and when they take the money in euros they don't reimburse you. second point excluding the meal and the drinks was very good the price also a tuna taryare with 3 slices of sandwich bread for 29 francs and the squeezed juice well filled with ice cubes to obtain the 33cl at 6.50 francs. AND 5 FRANCS FOR A 50CL BOTTLE OF WATER. (They had to treat the water themselves) another point during our meal a table behind us was free and 2 customers wanted to sit there but one of the waitresses was not kind enough to welcome them on the contrary made them understand that this table will be for her and her colleagues during their break because she was the last one in the shade. after 45 minutes of waiting a table was not happy that their dish was not even being prepared but not surprising when we see the cook smoking laughing and calmly and gently serving himself his little fresh juice. the boss who goes back and forth comes just to be present to complain on the terrace about the prices of his business figures with his employees. Now it’s up to you to judge. and it's up to them to change before it goes wrong. They take advantage of their location but don't maintain it too bad. you can feel it!!
