I haven't felt so welcome in a restaurant in a long time. Very inviting atmosphere, authentically and tastefully decorated. The tapas all look so delicious that we gave the waitress the freedom to put together a mix. (Otherwise I would have thought about it for far too long and ended up packing everything up 🤭) There are different plate sizes to choose from. Our plate was an M When it comes to risotto, I can't say which one is better. Delicious! Mushroom risotto and truffle risotto with Pata Negra. I can recommend it to everyone. The open wine, unfortunately I can't remember the name, was also great. I will definitely come back. My 1 hour journey was definitely worth it.

The restaurant under the castle stairs is always an experience. Good cuisine, friendly service and great ambience. I'm looking forward to the next visit!

Excellent food and very friendly, attentive service.

There were 8 of us and everyone was very satisfied. Most people took the tapas and they were delicious! We were served by the waiter David, he was very friendly and dealt with our special requests very well. We can all recommend the restaurant and the young waiter!

Great service as an occasional regular guest. Although it is better to make a reservation, a table for 7 people in the cozy outdoor area was immediately available during our surprise visit on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Very friendly, professional service and fine Mediterranean cuisine.

Nice quick service. Lovingly made! Food was good but that certain something was missing... Star deduction for the calamari, they were nothing at all. Soggy and full of water (because they were frozen), visually great and homemade but not edible. They were charged in full and also the espresso, hence one star less..

When we entered La Fuente, we were immediately hit by a strong smell of fish. This was also due to the fact that cod was on the menu that evening. The service was friendly and accommodating. Various rolls with various spreads and olives were offered for the aperitif. The restaurant was busy on this Wednesday evening and therefore it was a bit noisy. The dishes were really excellent in taste and also specially prepared. For example, the beef fillet in the Filet Stroganoff was not sliced, but there were pieces of beef fillet about the size of goulash pieces in the sauce. This meant the meat could be served perfectly cooked. The wines on offer are in the upper price range. The Amarone we chose tasted excellent and a quick search showed that there was no outrageous price range charged for this wine. We would be happy to visit La Fuente again.

I've been to La Fuente several times. I grew up in Rapperswil and I really have to say that the restaurant is one of the best here. Excellent service, they ask questions, take very good and friendly care of the guests. The food is also very good. For this reason: 5 stars absolutely deserved! Highly recommended.

Super delicious food, friendly service, little details that make the difference (such as the special breads that are available for the aperitif), the cooking level of the meat is perfectly met, great selection of food.

A menu that leaves little to be desired. The food is good and the service is friendly. The prices are rather high, but you can also find cheaper dishes on the menu.

If you have a food allergy, eat at this restaurant at your own risk. I cannot eat gluten and neither our waitress nor the supporting wait staff really knew what gluten was and told me I couldn't eat things on the menu that in actuality were gluten free and vice versa. They were confusing lactose with gluten and never made me feel like they really knew allergens at all. I did end up with a great meal however and I never got sick but some education with the wait staff would be nice before we visit again.

I have loved going to La Fuente for years, which impresses with its charm, top quality and hospitality. Very tasty food, it tastes great... The Spanish restaurant is located directly below Rapperswil Castle and the location couldn't be better. The prices are on the high end but a visit is definitely worth it.

There were 7 of us and we had six different starters, seven different main courses and four different desserts. Everything was very tasty and highly recommended. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We're going there again.

Superb cuisine from José and his chefs, top service... and kindness. Excellent wine list and menu in 3 languages. It is located in the center of the old Cotta at the foot of the steps leading to the castle. An unmissable stop.

Cosy restaurant directly located on the main square in the old town. Good tapas as well as other Spanish/Portuguese dishes. High quality ingredients and portions are on the larger side. Service was very friendly.

Very appealing atmosphere in the middle of the old town on the main square. The cuisine is authentically Spanish with tapas and various treasures from the sea. The presentation of the food is fantastic, everything is freshly prepared and the taste is an explosion of the senses. The prices are reasonable considering the location and the really impressive food. The card could be a little slimmer.

Servers were friendly but totally bungled the order. Food was just ok, but way over priced.

We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday! We hadn’t been out to eat in months and it was a very special occasion for us. I ordered the Poke bowl and they brought it with lamb on it….at least that is what the server said it was. I ordered it plain as I’m a vegetarian. My husband ordered the fish and they brought him shrimp scampi…which he kept because of the fiasco with the poke bowl…he didn’t want any more negative disruption for his birthday. We ended up pay full price for both when it wasn’t what we wanted. Pay attention!

Not real Spanish cuisine but some close to it. Super attentive service! Price-performance ratio is not really optimal. For 4! Hearty, medium-sized perch fillets with risotto in cream cheese sauce (not exactly suitable for the fish as it is extremely fattening) and bland steamed vegetables, we paid 39.50 CHF In my opinion, the location doesn't really justify such prices...unless there were 6 or 7 perch, but 4...🤔 The "Plato la fuente" was good, the gambas al ajillo were oversalted and had nothing to do with the version in Spain, but were otherwise quite ok. You can only get tasteless steamed vegetables in Switzerland...in Spain they were more likely to be fried (salteadas). Queridos anfitriones..a ver si revisais a poco la cosa😉

The Tapas were very good. But I especially loved the flamed chorizo. Overall the food is worth a visit. The staff was also very friendly and the food didn't take too long to be served.

Posso dire, di essermi trovato molto bene in questo ristorante, mia moglie ed io abbiamo mangiato benissimo, malgrado la pandemia, per fortuna le terrazze aperte, ci siamo recati a cena. in questo ristorante, e ci siamo seduti in una terrazza coperta con balconata e fiori, rivolta sulla piazza, e al coperto dal venticello, abbiamo cenato una insalata portoghese come entrata, e poi un doppio entrecote di manzo, con contorni vari, un buon vino spagnolo, e una crema catalana come dessert, e un buon espresso alla fine. Soddisfatti, l'ambiente piacevole il personale molto professionale e gentile. Il prezzo un poco caro, ma adeguato, "siamo in Svizzera", e perdipiù nella parte tedesca, più cara del Ticino. Ma ci ritornerò.

Von Anfang bis am Schluss war alles TOP! - top Service, sehr aufmerksam, schnell und sympathisch- Essen schmeckte hervorragend, ein echter Gaumenschmaus :)- Weinempfehlung war superEs könnte durchaus ein bisschen günstiger sein, vorallem die Tapas, aber bereue trotzdem keinen einzigen Rappen. Komme gerne wieder. :)

Für Trüffelliebhaber die richtige Adresse.Wir hatten einen Vorspeisenteller, der uns sehr geschmeckt hat. Wie in der Karte vermerkt, teilweise warme und teilweise kalte Vorspeisen. Aber typisch für das Land. Fritata, Gambas, gegrilltes Gemüse, Dörrtomaten und vieles mehr. Sehr lecker. Ich hatte dann Trüffelravioli, welche man wahlweise mit weissem oder schwarzem Trüffel haben kann. Es war unglaublich. mein Freund hatte Rinderfilet, es war butterzart. Übrigens noch ein hoch auf das warme selbstgebackene Brot. Wir kommen wieder
