La Giungla in Genève

Excellent food, well prepared and presented, and very welcoming and professional staff, in a warm and enjoyable environment. Will be back!

I don't rate the food I didn't eat there. On the other hand, the best thing to remember in this restaurant was the work force of the poor and only waitress present last Saturday evening who was stalking her fellow bartender, also alone in an almost full bar. Well done to them and shame on the owner who sells the cocktail for CHF 17, which is certainly good but finished in two small sips through a straw. I travel a lot and at 50 now it's I think the most expensive cocktail I've drunk in terms of price/quantity. Some bosses should stop riding the wave and be a little more correct and respectful towards their current and future customers...

It's a very nice restaurant with a bar area. The pizzas were delicious and very pretty. Honestly, best pizza for me! The waitress was very nice.

Congratulations to the chef for this beautiful New Year's menu, not only very good from appetizers to dessert but rather reasonable in terms of price and taking into account the date. The service is really great, the girls who took care of us are really great and pleasant. The atmosphere is nice and the decor is always great! A DJ was on site. My only regret ? No Italian song haha. Buon anno auguri

A huge disappointment!!! We were delighted with this first experience in this restaurant. We waited 50 minutes to get our drinks. A very friendly and professional waitress had to manage the entire room alone...Our dishes arrived, the burger buns were dry, the number of fries differed from one guest to another. The truffle tagliatelle are normally served in a wheel of cheese which was non-existent this evening...and honestly they didn't have much flavor for a price of 45.-. Unfortunately the waiting time, the quality/price ratio will not make me want to come back! We need to hire more staff! Thank you all the same for the commercial gesture on the bill.

Waiting time much too long.. almost 1 hour of waiting to be served only a drink, dish does not correspond to the menu. Burger arrives overcooked bread and eggplant instead of dried tomatoes. The dishes arrived late, some had finished and others still did not have their dish After complaint, burger redone and offered Thanks to the waitress who was the only one serving

We went there for a team evening and we were delighted. The menu at 80chf/person (without drinks apart from an aperitif cocktail included) was well thought out, generous and above all everything was very good. The service was impeccable. The place and the super nice atmosphere. Very good experience, I recommend.

We came with friends to spend a very pleasant evening for our taste, the dishes offered are excellent and the products offered are of high quality, the atmosphere is warm. We will gladly come back. This restaurant is worth discovering…

A c-a-a-s-r-o-p-h-e. This restaurant is my worst experience in Geneva. There were 16 of us and we all advise against this restaurant. The meal, a shame!!!! The quantity is TOO small and for the quality, no comment. For that, you might as well stay at home. For the service, at no time did the waitresses come and ask us if we wanted something. We always had to call them. However, the only positive point is that the cocktails are excellent.

A nicely decorated restaurant, good atmosphere, good music and very good service. I recommend this establishment 100%.

Great restaurant to meet up with friends. The pizza with vegetable charcoal dough is a good discovery, I recommend. A little extra for drinks with a good choice of beers and very good cocktails.

I know this place well, have spent a LOT of time there and will return again and again. I ate the beef chuck lasagna and it was just delicious! Then I had a half-baked cookie that was just to die for. Of course, I tasted an original cocktail, from the house and it was perfect to end this meal! The only regret I have is when I have to go home. I recommend 100%.

We went to try this new thing in our neighborhood but unfortunately we were not delighted. Indeed, we had the straciatella as a starter but it was not a real straciatella, it looked like liquid cream… too bad. The pizza was really not good, the cheese was too chewy and there was too much water from the tomatoes…The pinsa was very good, a great discovery. The service is good but the waiter didn't question why there were so many leftovers on our plates...I think we should review the quality of the products 👍🏽

Located in the heart of Eaux-Vives, very pleasant restaurant and very good cuisine. Perfect welcome, we will not fail to come back to test the interior atmosphere.

Very typical jungle and friendly atmosphere. Pizzas (la giungla) -good taste -good presentation -dough not suitable for pizzas Very pleasant service. The server took our complaint into consideration. And offered us another pizza (pinsa). Really nice server. Beautiful terrace and beautiful room. A few meters from the shores of Lake Geneva. At Eaux-vives. Cartier very lively and lively.

Dinner for two on a Wednesday evening. Impeccable service. Dishes that are beautiful for the eyes and a pleasure for the taste buds. We reserved with the fork. So 60.-chf for two is magnificent to really enjoy.

We went for a cocktail and unfortunately we were disappointed. Too much waiting for ending with 2 mojito, no flavour at all (just water and alcool). What a pity spending 38.- for such bad experience. The place it’s very nice decorated.

Good morning, Lunch today at noon, I'm not in the habit of spending money, but it has to be within reason. 11.- Chf for 10cl of acidic white Chablis and 16.- Chf for a glass of Spritz, I really find that excessive. I am from Geneva and I have been eating Geneva restaurants for over 35 years, so this first visit to La Giungla will also be my last. This even if the waitress is very friendly but also overloaded because she is the only one serving everyone in this huge room. Positive note but that does not remove the bad surprise of the price of the drinks, the food was very good but served sparingly, a decent piece of fish but with 6 small potatoes, the gourmet coffee at 16.- Chf with 3 unfortunate pieces of cakes (even very good ones) that is not serious. A word to the wise.

Very good experience at Giungla where we celebrated a friend's birthday. The dishes, starters and pizzas were good and the service very friendly! Special note for the homemade bread in a focaccia style which was excellent.

New, very good, I love the decor and atmosphere in the evening with rhythmic music. There is a small choice of refined cuisine (starters) and pizza/pinsa/piadine. A good price-performance ratio. I would have liked a little more choice and a little line of explanation on pinsa, if it is suitable for gluten-free people or just more digestible?

As it's new in the Eaux-Vives district we wanted to try it after reading the good reviews.... blah blah blah it doesn't break anything at all, the dishes are good but poorly presented, small portions and the decor is not great, especially this burlap on the ceiling full of holes...it looks very DIY as decoration. The waiter was friendly but didn't know the menu well, the prices are too high compared to what's on the plate! Namely if you take meat or fish served without accompaniment, the vegetables, rice or fries are extra...it's really exaggerated.

Great culinary experience, I tasted the Pinsa (halfway between pizza and facoccia) a delight. Followed by the veal tartare, an explosion of flavors, I recommend 1000 times. Top notch service and welcome!!!! Thank you to the team who took great care. I would come back with great pleasure.
