La Grappe d'Or in Lausanne

Magnificent setting in the center of Lausanne. Fireplace in the corner. The staff is very friendly and gives good advice. The menu had just changed and offers a very diversified menu! Impressive wine list! The antipasto for 2 was very generous (vegetables, burrata, cold meats, pizza, etc.) The pasta is delicious! The restaurant has its price but the quality is there! I recommend without hesitation

Very good and beautiful cuisine

I have eaten a beef tartare and a plate of tagliolini with prawn tartare. The food was good, but the overall experience was unsatisfactory. The quality (or rather quantity)/price ratio doesn't seem fair to me. The tartare was tiny and the truffle that accompanied it would have to be looked for under a microscope. The pasta/shrimp ratio was truly disproportionate (a mountain of pasta and a minimal amount of shrimp). It does not seem right. For this reason I would not return to this establishment nor recommend it.

Very nicely decorated restaurant, the atmosphere is pleasant as are the staff. We ate the game (venison saddle) and it was a treat. Very well presented plates and it is impossible to doubt the quality of the products. These have been carefully selected, that’s for sure.

The setting is magnificent. The servers are attentive and give very good advice. The dishes are very very good. Desserts too. Indeed some dishes are a little expensive (50frs) but it's worth it. Beautiful address. I will return without hesitation.

Excellent restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. It is very well located (next door you have the metro that takes you to the Olympic area and the lake). The attention received was very good. The bathrooms are upstairs, they smell great and are clean.

5 Stars for the Tiramisu, the service and the atmosphere. The food could do better to match the prices.

The pork was excellent, medium doneness and juicy. The quantity is super abundant and the price/performance ratio is 100 points. But when it comes to mixing drinks, mojito seems a bit sweet, which is not my favorite taste.

Top quality, top service, not too top price. The 18 ball rum is a bit crazy. Otherwise... I'll go back as soon as possible.

Very disappointed with the quality of the dishes compared to the excessively expensive prices on the menu (on average 50.- a dish). I expressed my dissatisfaction to the waiter who quickly informed the manager. The latter didn't even bother to come to our table and on the contrary deliberately made the decision to cast dark and slanderous looks at us. Not professional at all... I won't come back again!

TO AVOID ! Given the prices, we expect to have semi-gourmet food but unfortunately the quality is far from being there. Dish of dry pasta to suffocate with and equally dry chicken supreme. The disappointment also continues in the service where, after expressing our dissatisfaction, no solution is offered to us. Not to mention the manager who didn't even bother to come to our table and glared at us. A horrible lack of professionalism.

La Grappe d’or is the best restaurant in downtown Lausanne. Excellent varied cuisine, very good service, large choice of wines and special attentions in a cozy atmosphere! I also recommend for groups or business meals.

This is my favorite restaurant in Lausanne and a must visit every time I’m there on business. The staff are very welcoming, the food is always very fresh and cooked to perfection. The wine list is absolutely outstanding and the recommendations from Laurent the owner are always on pint and paired well with the dishes. They also have a lot of craft spirits, gin & tonics, and specialty rum & whiskies. A must for any serious foody who enjoys the finer things in life

The best risotto I've ever eaten!! The starter (beef carpaccio & fish tartare) was also a taste explosion!!! The waiter was also super nice.

Really wonderfully flavors in all the dishes. We loved the food. Desert a bit too pricey so we passed on that. Would be nice if the wine by the glass was a little bit more generous than the 100 ml pour.

Magnificent place where you eat really well, the menu is small but the food is succulent and the wines go hand in hand. The staff takes great care of you. This is a place not to be missed if you are in Lausanne. The bartender is a real chef and so is the chef. 😉

This restaurant suffered a lot during the confinements. However, he allows himself to refuse a reservation because there are not enough of us. We loved going there, we won't go there again!

Absolutely magnificent restaurant. Went there the first time without any reservations, they made us soom room and it was absolutely marvelous from start to finish. Plats très bons de l'entrée jusqu'au dessert! La salade aurait pu être un peu plus copieuse ainsi que le plat de ravioles comme entrée (22 frs.-) . Mais dans l'ensemble, bon rapport qualité-prix

Lunch special pasta with gambas was very good

Das Essen ist wie bei anderen Restaurants jedoch ist die Qualität und Portion bescheiden. Die Preise etwa 30%zu hoch! Bedienung war super. Schade finde ich das es keine Deutsche oder English Menue Karte gibt.

Pour moi ce fut une première fois et c'était vraiment génial accueil du patron qualité des vins et surtout la qualité des mets proposés. un pur bonheur merci à La Sommelière très professionnel. Ps. attention à la marche temps de restaurant🤣

Je peux vous le dire, après deux jours, j‘en salive encore et aimerais bien y retourner très vite. Service et accueil top, Pasta à se relever la nuit et cuisson parfaite. Ce restaurant est impressionnant par sa cuisine, son décor, son service. Chef j‘ai vraiment apprécié. Merci

Accueil super, endroit incroyable avec une atmosphère vraiment apaisante, ce feu de cheminée et cette lumière assez basse c'est génial. Les plats sont superbes. Tartare de dorade terriblement bon, côté de porc superbe bien que cuite un peu forte (légèrement sèche) dessert vraiment gourmand. La cuisine et le service porté par un staff patient et de qualité fait de cet endroit un restaurant à absolument essayer et adopter. Merci beaucoup ! Mes photos souffre du manque de lumière malheureusement.

Très mauvais accueil. Malgré une réservation, à notre arrivée nous avons du attendre au moins 20 minutes avant qu'un serveur s'occupe de nous. Rien à voir avec la vieille "Grappa", restaurant chaleureux et élégant.

Une carte avec des plats frais et de saison. Prix élevé mais en lien avec la splendide qualité des mets. Magnifique carte des vins suisses et italiens. Ambiance raffinée avec tables hautes, basses, cheminée, bar, décoration etc ! Un lieu unique à Lausanne, ou il n'est pas rare de terminer le repas en discutant avec la table d'à côté autour d'une dernière bouteille de vin ! Superbe moment !
