It is shame that they are serving below average foods in that cute designed cafe! Bagel was ok but I wasn’t told that they dont have 2 out of 3 sides when i was ordering, so felt myself a bit in a way that i paid additional money to something i dont wanna eat. Homemade ice tea wqs definitely not homemade, you cannot claim sth homemade by only putting lemon slice on it.

Unfortunately not good service - very unmotivated. We were left standing for a long time even though there weren't many people in the restaurant. It's also a shame that you aren't asked if you want anything else or if everything is okay. Comes across as very arrogant, obviously they don't need it.

One of the best and most decent priced brunches I ever had. Super cozy place and great food.

Everything fits wonderfully. The bistro is a bit small and stuffy but that doesn't bother you. It's definitely worth reserving a table in advance.

Cozy cafe with a very pleasant atmosphere, very good for breakfast, both sweet and savory. Of course, I had never before paid €40 for a coffee with milk, a tea and two filled bagels.

We were also waiting for a table to become available (3 minutes, the waitress said) in the cold outside. The table is cleared, he tells us to stay for another 2 minutes to clear it. 2 Swiss guys come, they ask us why we are waiting, we tell them we are waiting for a table, they enter. Guess where the waitress placed them..at the table we were waiting for 🙃 again we chose a place to eat under 4.5 stars on google and again we got screwed. Small place with few tables, they want to make sales and would be able to squeeze you into a table with other strangers. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!

We came to eat as a couple a few days ago. A little uncomfortable by the welcome from the manager of the place (well, I think it's the manager?) who seemed quite stressed and directive when it came to the place we were supposed to take, we felt rushed. There was an error in our order and we heard her tell her colleagues that it was us who had made a mistake, she was sure of her... I found it quite limiting especially since we were right next door and we heard everything... one of the young ladies took over and calmed the situation. The service was very long. Fresh cuisine, the products seem to be of very good quality, the place is pleasant. Too bad for this event with this lady who gave a bit of a hefty note to the bill.

It is a warm and cozy place with very nice, gracious and pleasant staff. We were there for a late breakfast, the place was pretty full, but we didn't wait in the line and be seated. We ordered a "Good Morning Banana Tartine", "Pumpkin Soup with Coconut Milk" and "Croissant Chocolat" which were quite good. We paid ~CHF 30 for the breakfast with a coffee and a latte. They have a 10% student discount for to go, they are a very dog friendly 🐾, simply and beautifully decorated establishment.

Small restaurant with an outside area that offers, among other things, burgers and bagels. The products and the coffees were very good. Unfortunately the concept still didn't convince me, Had to queue for a long time, then wait a long time for the coffee to come. Space inside is limited, there is material in the free space, so there is even less space. The service seemed overwhelmed, even though it was self-service and the dishes had to be cleared away yourself.

The food was pretty salty, but filling. I liked the generosity with salad in the sandwiches, which made them less heavy and greasy. The waitress that served us was lovely and the place is cozy.

The place is cozy, there is place for sitting inside and outside. Everything we tried was pretty good and they have a lot of different options (savoury and sweet). We went for a coffee first and then came back for breakfast as we liked it a lot. The staff is very nice and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Delicious coffee. The inside of the store is also very stylish, but Spend a sunny summer morning on the terrace. Good location next to the church. Self-service after paying in the store. Next time, it's not just coffee, I want to have lunch with some delicious-looking bagels.

We had breakfast here on a Sunday. Unfortunately you had to wait a long time before you could order. The portions were very small for the prices. My chai latte only tasted like milk. Unfortunately disappointing.

Rarely disappointed, the staff does its best to take care of the customers even if, from time to time, the restaurant is stormed. The products are fresh, homemade, demeter or organic. Sometimes a victim of its success, there is a bit of a wait, but that is the price to pay for a good meal. The prices are correct compared to other brands, but it’s still Switzerland.

For a quick day in Basel, when we got off the train we had a superb breakfast. Warmly welcomed and served very quickly, fresh and quality products. Perfect ! I highly recommend.

Visiting from the states. Came across this adorable cafe. The food was excellent, the service superb. Ate there 2 days in a row.

Unfortunately there was a worm in the salad. We were then told that this was normal and we were offered a cheesecake, which we politely declined. The mayo in the bagel had expired and gave me a stomach ache. A pity

Reservation: I called shortly before I arrived at the restaurant to ask if there were any seats available or if we could make a reservation. It said that we could come by within the next 10 minutes & that there were still places available (there were two of us) & that reservations would no longer be accepted. When we arrived there was actually 1 table available, reserved by someone who called 2 minutes ago. We were told 10 minutes beforehand that we don't accept reservations... although we got a seat after waiting a bit, the whole experience was definitely not satisfactory. An order: We placed our order and it initially arrived incorrectly. A short time later the correct order arrived, but 5 minutes later someone came back with more orders and thought it was ours. So we were unnecessarily interrupted twice. The order consisted of 2 bagles that were the same and 2x coffee… so not really complicated. Ambience: It's a small, cute café, but as soon as we had the last bite, we had the feeling that we should pay immediately because there were new guests outside... the service staff then walked past our table several times according to the motto "can you please If you don’t want to order anything else so other guests can come?!” The food itself was tasty, but for the price I would have expected better service. Would I come again? Probably not… wasn’t a relaxing brunch experience…

the bagels are great, place is cute but… every single time (not exaggerating) there’s hair in the food. literally all the times i have to pull out hair from the bagels and that’s not okay. workers don’t wear gloves in the kitchen and don’t wear a hair tie or caps. for these prices you’d expect more hygiene and better quality of the food.

La Manufacture offers delicious food and great drinks in a charming outdoor area. We had a wonderful experience, but the prices seemed a bit high for the portion sizes. Really cosy and fair prices ( compared to Basel) if you want to sit outside you'll have to leave your things at the table to go in to order and again to pick up the food/drink which will come at separate times 🙃

The map actually sounds good, so we wanted to try it out. The restaurant is so small and yet you can't keep up. You wait an eternity until the order is taken (and we observed it, it wasn't just us). Others have already considered leaving again. If you want to order at the counter, it's not right and you won't be told in a very friendly manner that the waitress is coming to the table. After she didn't come again, we definitely ordered at the counter. You also have to wait to pay at the counter until the lady moves forward at her work pace. But you also have to give credit to the process (1 lady for orders and payment process). My meal (a Birchermüesli) was so sweet that I soon had a sugar shock. My wife's (yogurt bowl) was good. The two young ladies who only serve and clear away did their job well. So all in all an experience that we personally don't have to have again. Even if it was full (and it is really small), you should still work with an engament that would be acceptable in the restaurant. And when you sit at a table, you are told in a not-so-friendly way that they need the table if a group comes. I would have liked to see whether you would still be asked to stand up if a group had come. It would have suited the situation. In any case, I think that you shouldn't be overwhelmed at this size, but you do need an overview and a little more speed when working. And the prices for the quantity are certainly not cheap and are at the upper limit, but I can see that on the menu beforehand.

Modern and hip, this place is perfect if you want to eat light and enjoy the view over one of the most important neo-gothic cathedrals of Switzerland. La Manufacture has a friendly staff and serves guilt free savory meals. Won't recommend to bring a large group since the place has limited seats. Will recommend to go there to study or catch up with a friend.

Disappointing: bruschetta was presented poorly some pieces of bread with a tiny bit of cut tomatoes, bagel chicken advocating has no flavor and chicken was not even grilled and so much mayonnaise on the bread! Asked for a drink k not cold hot ice cubes in it!

Had the Chicken Avocado Bagel. It was a taste explosion. Chicken was well seasoned, the ingredients went well together and the mayo added a perfect finishing touch.

The food was very tasty and the tea was served in a large cup. Top!

Welcoming café and I really enjoyed the coffee. The Bircher muesli is tasty and the sweet pastries looked good. I haven't tried it yet. The staff is friendly, but the service is a bit slow.

nice place - good food - but very croudy !!

I was staying in Basel as a stopover before going over to Interlaken, and I went there while taking a walk. The cappuccino was so delicious!! I ordered the Salmon Avocado Tartine and the Good Morning Banana Tartine(?), and it went well with the banana, refreshing yogurt dressing, and peanut butter. I didn't have enough coffee, so I wanted to drink more haha.

Very good restaurant/café with lots of fresh and delicious sweet and salty treats. The staff is very friendly and you feel very comfortable here. Even though it's a rather small location, it's a great place to come. The cool videos with the delicious bagles and burgers are not only very inspiring, they are also a pleasure for the palate.

despite the quality of food, the behavior of the staff is very poor and unprofessional. You shouldn’t be grumbling about the customers after their requests even though those are silly.

Quality of food in this place is fantastic. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the staff. They're quite unfriendly and unwilling to support customers, and not really coordinated, which makes the service very inefficient (I.e. 4 out of 5 people in the kitchen while no one is in the register when you try to make an order, or only one person knowing what they have for day specialties and asks you to queue for 15 min just to ask what the soup of the day is, etc). As much as I like the food, I don't think I'll be coming back.

Delicious healthy bowls with fresh fruits and homemade granola, fresh salads and delicious vegan & gluten-free breads. Unfortunately you have to wait a long time for the food. The plates were ready to be served at the counter for a few minutes and everyone waited impatiently for their food. Personally, I'm willing to wait for such delicious, healthy food, just not when I'm in a rush. In general, I always say: there should be more healthy brunch restaurants like this.
