I'm Thai and this is the closest to home, of many Thai restaurants I've been trying in Switzerland. Very authentic and good quality of food with amazing service.

I recommend the panang curry which is amazing, the view is also magnificent. Very good restaurant, one of the best in Adelboden in my opinion.

I don't understand the negative reviews. Was there for the second time now. The service & food are great. If you like it spicy, you need to add some seasoning. Price is definitely a bit high... but it is what it is...I'll definitely be back. Thanks

The food and service are simply TOP at La Orchidea. So many options on the menu! And if you're a vegetarian, there's a lot to choose from! I highly recommend it! Make reservations by phone on weekends. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

The staff was very nice and very friendly, when we wanted to go out to eat the day before (January 31, 2024) it was unfortunately closed for inexplicable reasons. My colleague and I ate fried noodles with vegetables, the food was bland and had to be heavily seasoned, and these were neither noodles nor rice noodles, but simple spaghetti. :(

Frankly at first I was a bit worried because of some bad reviews, but i thoroughly enjoyed the food! Tom yum goong was very creamy and roasted duck was crispy and tasty. Pad thai was well above the expectation too! Also the staff was very kind and friendly. I would higly recommend this place.

Generally very fine Asian food and friendly, attentive service. I eat there regularly and enjoy the fine food every time. I particularly like the spring rolls as a snack; they can also be ordered at the bar next door.

I had the spring rolls and the pad thay. Everything was tip top and the service was extremely friendly. My companion had a green curry and was very impressed with it.

The food was very tasty and fresh! The service was very friendly. I ate the papaya salad (large portion) and the green curry (very tasty). The Pad Thay is also highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

I had the pleasure of dining at this Thai restaurant and it was an excellent experience. The food was authentic and of the highest quality, the spices and flavors were perfectly balanced and I could taste the fresh ingredients. The service was also excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was inviting and pleasant, which contributed to an overall wonderful evening

We've been waiting for 1:30 a.m. and haven't even received the starter yet. Avoid this place. There is not even a response to the demands of many customers. The reservation also had to be rescheduled twice. It hadn't worked. I can't recommend it under any circumstances.

This store is not recommended! We did the conversion, paid €85 for 2 children's plates (fries + chicken nuggets) + two "Thai noodles"... The noodles were totally dry... A ready-made meal in the supermarket for €4 tastes better. The waiter was polite , but it came across very seriously, as if we were in a 5 star restaurant... Never again...

Great restaurant. We were served very quickly by the waiter who was very friendly. The meal was delicious and very generous. The chicken was tender and juicy. We have adored. Plus the price was more than fair for Adelboden. Go for it! :-)

The staff is inattentive. The food only came after 1 hour and we received our drink 20 minutes after we received our food. If I was blindfolded, I wouldn't have realized it was Thai food. Unfortunately very disappointed.

02/22/22: We were the first guests in the restaurant at 6 p.m. and received the main course at 7:30 p.m. Our two directly neighboring tables received their food much earlier. We also sat in front of empty glasses for over 30 minutes, the employees are unprofessional and don't keep an eye on their guests. The food itself was edible. Definitely not recommended to waste time and money there!

Staff inattentive and disorganized. Our food was first served at another table, cleared there again and served to us. Corona sends its regards. The food was good. Staff doesn't understand German well. No more!

Were there January 22, 2022. We waited 1.5 hours for our food and unfortunately it wasn't even very good. As an alternative to rice there are noodles, but these were just spaghetti and that in a Thai restaurant. You could at least serve rice noodles or something for an additional charge of 4.00. The staff was generally friendly but some didn't know what the others were doing. Food is delivered to wrong tables or drinks are not served. I would like to give more stars, but unfortunately we were just disappointed

I would give this 0 stars if I could, without a doubt the WORST Thai restaurant we have ever been to .. calling it "Thai" is even an insult to Thailand .. Felt sorry for the lovely waiter who had to deal with the slop coming out of that kitchen ...

Kitch decoration from previous restaurant but they try to bring something me Thai deco. At the end we went for the food. We order a beef with basilica and chicken cashew nuts. The beef meat was not good the taste was good quite normal. The chicken meat was ok but not the sauce with frozen vegetables. It was okay but nothing good or great. Don't really recommend. The service was good and friendly

Nice service, food ok, unfortunately we waited over 1.5 hours for the food. There were simply too many guests and we weren't the only ones who had to wait too long. The waiter offered us the starter without asking (hence 3 stars and not just 2).

Excellent Thai cuisine! Delicious spring rolls, delicious papaya salad, wonderful curries and sweet & sours as well as fine wines by the glass, creative drinks, a great range of homemade ice cream and wonderful homemade bread pampered our taste buds! Great service! Thanks.

We were late in Adelboden looking for a place to eat that also served vegetarian dishes and was not already fully booked up. We noticed this Thai restaurant that was very welcoming and served great food. It had opened not too long ago. We liked the dishes which was made from fresh ingredients and the admosphere at this restaurant. The service was very good which was helped by one of the waiters who was happy to help us in French.

Delicious food and nice service. It's a bit of a shame that the chicken comes from Slovakia and not Switzerland.
