The Cambrian Adelboden in Adelboden

Diese Bar hat ein gutgeschultes und sehr freundliches Personal. Sie ist abends gut gefüllt und es läuft gute Musik. Man geniesst dort wirklich eine tolle Atmosphäre. Es hat eine grosse Auswahl an Drinks und die Preise, sind auch ok. Ein muss wen man in Adelboden verweilt. Top und absolut zu empfehlen.

Très beau petit restaurant perdu à travers les pâturages. Les plats proposés sont excellents et établis avec des produits de la région. Endroit à ne pas manquer si vous passez dans la région!

Café-cum-bakery including a small grocery shop. Although very central, there is something of a mountain view from the window-side counter. All good except they close on Sundays (not a legal requirement in these parts), the WiFi password does not work (perhaps they changed it and forgot to update the record) and, not least, they charge you CHF4.50 for one cup of coffee -and that's a paper cup...!

We have had a holiday apartment in Adelboden for 1.5 years. We visited the Haueter every weekend and diligently advertised it on Instagram. But what happened today is the absolute last thing on your part!! Today I was walking with our 3 kg Yorkie and wanted to buy us some nut croissants! An employee or owner with shorter reddish-brown hair comes up to me and tells me in front of everyone that she doesn't want dogs in the store and right next to the bar there were people with dogs! Then I pointed it out to her, she said the dogs didn't bother me there (2 meters from where I was standing) and she said it was about hygiene. How many people walk around with dirty shoes or children who touch everything with dirty fingers, they are bothered by a 3 kg dog that is not even as high as a boot and he was well behaved, didn't bark, plus a Yorkie is a dog that doesn't lose any hair , next to me, didn't touch anything or make a mess... it wasn't a Great Dane licking the glass counter... honestly, ridiculous statements like that... I didn't want to go into the kitchen but was standing 1 meter behind a covered glass counter. Ordering something and collecting it takes 1 minute. Dogs do not transmit diseases, just for your information! Since when is it allowed to behave like that towards customers?! Is this the new friendly way?! I was there alone and people with dogs were sitting 2 meters away, one was even on the sofa??? To be honest, I would now like to continue to explain how to deal with customers who have dogs! Of course she took the money anyway. This is a real shame, but we will avoid your bakery from now on and tell our friends about it too.
