Beautiful and authentic Italian restaurant located close to Langstrasse. The food was amazing

Starter was very good, pasta/main course average, wine (open) unfortunately bad. Service quick and friendly. No go: at 10 p.m. the chairs were up and we were asked out. Polite but soulless, price/performance ratio is far from right. There are better Italian restaurants in Zurich.

Food very good and authentic. Friendly service in Italian and English. Hearty restaurant, albeit rather loud. What I find unacceptable is CHF 5.-- for Coperto (we are in Zurich and not in Italy - the prices are hefty enough). Unfortunately, it was also unpleasant that I had to discuss with the staff whether the wine had cones or not.

Everything was great except the mains.The eggplant starter was good however the 2 mains were bland and tasteless. One would expect the prices paid should get pasta that is outstanding. As rated the service,atmosphere was great but would Not recommend anyone going

Some dishes are tasty , some are mediocre if you expect nice Mediterranean flavors . Some of them good value for money but most of them annoyingly expensive! Guys you charge 9 chf for the water and 5 chf for 5 small olives which are served without the customers to be asked for .

2 glasses of white wine with too much yeast for a price of 23 Fr. When paying, the waiter asked for 32 Fr. He also entered this into the EC device. Only when we intervened did he change it to 23.- A pity!

The food was tasty and the portions were big enough, although borderline expensive for what you get. What is not possible, however, is the fact that the printed menu is only available in Italian. If you don't know Italian, you have to read the menu on your smartphone and then have your phone back on the table. Something very pretentious in a German-speaking city to only provide the menu in Italian. It's probably supposed to seem authentic, but it has nothing to do with authenticity.

Friendly, really charming service, we had dinner on the terrace, the menu is short and everything was very correct, I really liked the seafood pasta and the dessert.

We went there for dinner. The food was really tasty, I can confirm that this restaurant is authentic Italian. The waiters were also very friendly. However, it's pricy in comparison to other authentic Italian restaurants in the city. Moreover they charge you for the olives and the bread on the table, but the waiters don't inform you in person about that. After I asked if the olives and the bread are included in the menu, they simply answered that it's 2.50 each person and the prices are written on the menu. Since bread on the table is normally free in Swiss restaurants, I was surprised that the waiters didn't inform us prior. For me 2.50 Fr. is fine for the service but the communication is not transparent at all which I expect as a guest.

Definitely recommended to anyone who likes Italian food and ambience. Great service, great food, really good. Ask the waiter what's good and he'll know :)

Place is nice in a cool area however would be great if they were using words properly. In Italy if you use the word “cucina popolana” you certainly don’t expect to pay for a supposedly cheap dish like a Milanese, 50.50 chf . If they convey they right message, for example “cucina popolana ma a prezzi per ricchi”, so expectations are set to that price range, then It would all make more sense.

Nice restaurant in beautiful area and surroundings. Can sit outside and the enjoy the spring weather or sit inside. The bar has good selection of wines and spirits to choose from. The open kitchen area allows you to experience the chefs at work front and center. Really nice. Like and follow for more amazing places to see and visit around the world.

The food is really good and you don't have to wait long. 😋 It's almost happening too fast. A rogue who suspects evil. 😜 We consciously stepped on the brakes. Gnocchi was divine, the dessert to die for. The Pecorino white wine was exquisite on the recommendation of the house. 🤗 The shop is small, loud, lively. Cool furnishings. You sit close together. If you want privacy, the Santa Sete is not recommended. The service is very friendly and attentive. Also happy to translate. That brings us to the only negative point. I understand that the Italian community is large and I appreciate it too, especially since it is an asset to us, but does everything have to be in Italian? You answer the phone in Italian, the card is in Italian. The whole thing leaves a slightly bland aftertaste, I'll be honest. 🧐 You are disempowering those who don't know Italian. Mere average food, the pasta served were literally worst than a barilla can sauce. The waiter even tried to rip us off by doubling the initial order without even consulting with us before to make sure we ordered correctly. I do not recommend this restaurant

I really like the location, the furnishings and the decoration. We were warmly greeted and well served throughout the evening. The staff was very friendly. At the beginning there are olives and bread with olive oil and salt on the table. Small, clear menu, you won't find the run-of-the-mill salad as a starter, etc., and that's a good thing! The food comes quickly and was really delicious. 1 star deducted because the portions could be a little larger for the rather high price. Both desserts were rather expensive and, above all, very small and the pasta could have been more. Nevertheless...I'm looking forward to the next visit!

Spectacular food, nothing ordinary. They have really thought out combinations. The service was very attentive, except that they do not speak German but you communicate easily in English or if you can in Italian. I probably didn't go last time.

Great menu that changes every month, nice atmosphere, pet friendly, and the personnel is super friendly and accommodating. We are always happy to come back! I always feel like I am in Italy for an hour or two.

The prices are unreasonable even for Zurich, the wines - well, if you like natural wines... I would just about use it for the salad dressing. The staff: trying to be cool, not particularly competent but with a large vocabulary of stupid sayings - hipsterism in its purest form. A typical Italian restaurant as we know it from Italy? Very far away from that... All in all: unfortunately no!

I’ve been debating about whether to give 3 or 4 stars… the verdict: - location: loved it - service: great (even though I’ve been waiting 20min a cocktail they couldn’t make because they were missing ingredients) - food: good, but not exceptional - value for money: rather on the low end.

TOP TIP Excellent cuisine, the Pulpo pricks our noses as we stroll past and we feel like we are on the Amalfi Coast... Very courteous, exclusively Italian personalities who patiently (the menu is in Italian) advised and looked after us. The bag with the finest dark bread & olive bread is refilled without any problems. Casa linga cuisine is the finest from starters to desserts! We definitely have to recommend it!

I really like the location. The tables are set the way I'm used to by the sea in Italy. The parasols and deck chairs also give me the feeling that the sea is not so far away after all. Because of this environment, I ate fish and I liked it so much that I ended up skipping the coffee to let the smell of the sea slowly fade in my mouth. And I only do that if I'm excited about eating fish. The service was friendly, very attentive and gave good tips. The price is high, but anyone who lives in Zurich or knows Zurich well will accept the bill without shock and pay it calmly. Especially because you ate well.

We tried many Italian restaurants 🇮🇹 in Zurich and finally found a place that satisfies our palates. Excellent cuisine, fresh ingredients, Italian flavours. Young and very helpful staff. Highly recommended for anyone who knows about Italian cuisine. Coffee ☕️ expensive...but one of the best in Zurich. Prices are not exactly within everyone's reach, but those who live in Zurich and decide to dine in a restaurant in the center are well aware of what they will be up against.

Inspired Italian cuisine, not the run-of-the-mill Italian. However, there is only an Italian-language menu and the service staff only speaks Italian and English. The restaurant is therefore not barrier-free and cannot be visited by people with disabilities and/or a low level of education/without knowledge of a foreign language. The catering concept should be reconsidered and barrier-free options should be examined. Only in Switzerland: a restaurant where the local language is neither on the menu nor among the staff.

It only took 10 minutes until we were shown to our reserved table. Then another 15 minutes until anyone from the service staff responded to our wave. The food is mediocre, the price-performance ratio is not right.

Unfortunately only two stars for the price. The mussels and the pulpo as a starter were very bland. For the main course, the lamb was too cooked but the fried potatoes were not cooked enough and were still hard. It's a shame because the quality of the products was good. The suggested wine was supposed to cost 150, then cost under 182. Hope it's better next time.

Today I had a non-carbonated mineral water, 1 mushroom strudel (it was very small and unfortunately it was swimming in a brown sauce), 1 small menu salad, which was unfortunately quite oversalted and a creamy coffee. Paid Fr. 36.00 for everything. Quality could be better!

Well-intentioned 3* We had a business lunch with four people. It is extremely loud inside despite the open windows. After repeated requests, we were allowed to sit outside. Danilo at least seems to have the kitchen very well under control. The food was good. In our opinion, the service/friendliness including Danilo still has a lot of potential. A service employee was great. Unfortunately, she didn't just have to share the tip with the kitchen. We might give the restaurant another chance in 6 months. Good luck and good mood

Creative dishes, very friendly service and a nice ambience. The food was very good, something new, special. The people who served us knew the menu well, but weren't that knowledgeable about beer & wine. No problem, criticism at a high level. The portions could be a little larger.

The wait staff were very nice and the food was good. But I asked if a dish contained gluten, was told it did not after the waitress checked with the chef, then when the food arrived and I took a bite it...contained gluten. Soooo yea...

Typically Italian. The coffee is therefore simply an espresso. That doesn't make it worse, just smaller. :) The location is cool and the food smelled great just before lunch.

Exciting Italian that surprises with interesting dishes for a change that you can't get on every corner - no pizzas and if pasta, then exceptional! In some cases - according to my own statement - it also goes in the direction of "fusion", for example with Mexican influences (I had tacos, for example). Very friendly staff. Also great cocktails and Italian beers. Unfortunately there isn't much of a vegetarian selection (at least on this evening), that could be expanded a bit... The whole row of the new customs house turned out great!

La Santa Sete, the usual soulless restaurant that thinks it's Italian. We went to eat with friends attracted by the beauty of the place and by the very fresh and interesting concept that they wanted to give to this place and by the great marketing commitment that was evidently made below, as we read on the website of a place in "popular" style with dishes that recall the traditions of grandmothers and typical Italian cuisine!! As soon as we arrive with the card, the waitress, who is also very curious, arrives and announces that some dishes are not available and this is not a good start for a place that has been opening for less than a month... we order and also let ourselves be advised. Santa thirsty appetizers for two with recovered dishes and the minimum quantity for the price 33.- as well as the quality of the products, very poorly recovered stuff such as the polenta which was then revised also in the subsequent courses. The main courses such as the parmigiana lacked both flavor and quantity, the cooking was extreme and finally it was black and burnt, the portion was not even an appetizer 23.- The Palermo one didn't even come from the most distant Sicilian village or whatever... badly cooked meat and completely tasteless and moist breading 43.- with a side of polenta, the same as the starter. The pichana was okay, but the side dish was truly unacceptable with the white potato salad, poorly preserved and tasteless, the peperonata was made from baked peppers with no aroma or taste. I'm sorry for the place, I'm sorry for being Italian, and I'm sorry for the service!! In a city where the taste and culture of food is not the best it is easy to disguise yourself, the problem arises when competent and knowledgeable people knock on your door. Italian cuisine is something else, this for me is a slap in the face of one of the best cuisines in the world!!! One star for the location!

Inflexible! Waited 25 minutes for the drinks, even though the bar wasn't very busy. After we said it was taking too long, the answer came: "Then it's okay." Clear faux pas

The food tasted excellent! The service was super friendly, helpful and really warm! Unfortunately, the process didn't work perfectly yet. We waited probably 30 minutes for our aperitif drinks. When we finished the starter we didn't have any drinks on the table and the main course was already there. Hence a star deduction. Otherwise everything is perfect.

Super nice and attentive service, who first had to explain the menu concept (from 13, 23, 33 to 43 francs there is something in every price range). Italian food here is not pizza/pasta, but typical highlights such as parmigiata, panzanella or cutuletti a palemmitana, which real Italian connoisseurs really appreciate and won't find on every corner in Zurich. A real discovery and highly recommended. Be sure to reserve!
