La Tana Del Lupo in Quinto

Annoyed colleague, locally opened and he slept sitting up. Apparently it annoyed him to give us something, to answer questions, but he still set the table, he slowly became friendlier, when it came to the bill he wanted us to pay together, the other thing seemed to be annoying again. Please note, it is not a bar, it is a restaurant.

What a wonderful place to eat a delicious (!!) home made lunch from Ticino. Very good wines at fair prices and don’t miss on the amazing cheese selection to go. We had a wonderful time here.

I was sitting in front of the place for an hour before opening, and there was literally no one in the nearby. Since the weather was hot, I put off my shoes next to me, and I organized the content of my bag to put on some sunscreen. While I was filling my bottle at the tap next to the funicolare station, the crew arrived to the place. Without any further notice, they started to remove my stuff, including my wallet and every belongings, and the old man started aggressively sending me away from the bench. I was literally thrown out from the place. This behavior in my opinion is unacceptable, impolite and rude in many levels. I would disencourage everyone from visiting this place, although I cannot tell anything about the quality of food since I did not even get to that point. There is another restaurant 10 minutes from there at the lake, maybe people are more friendly and welcoming there.

Great place for a stopover enjoying authentic food.

Small but nice, the ideal stopover. Local dishes, cheese and sausages, great wines and warm service. It has what it has, but very well. I want to go there again!
