Desert restaurant to come only if you are used to it! Unkind thoughts upon arrival! Heavy atmosphere without an exquisite smile when customers are asked to smile! Unfriendly staff, food too expensive for the setting of a characterless bistro! Ask the customer to finish the salad to avoid compost! Refuses credit cards because he says he likes cash! Not recommendable!

Great team and fantastic food. A choice of dishes and the chef's suggestion which are at the top, quality of the dishes and quantity on the plates are there! Not to be missed and come back.

It's a local neighborhood place - yes there are smokers, yes a lot of locals frequent it, and yes people will stare if you're not from around there but we arrived late on a Thursday afternoon with two rambunctious kids and were treated kindly and served great food at reasonable prices

Heavy atmosphere, lousy welcome (the boss doesn't know the definition of a smile). You want to have a drink, ok but outside on the veranda where it's cold (my wife had a 3 week old infant). Ok, we're going to eat then to stay warm, ok but your mini stroller is not welcome. We're going to have a drink right in front of the pub, because there's not enough space, no it's forbidden even 1m from the pub door!!! When you try to pay by card, they refuse and judge you by saying that you must always have cash on you and they suggest you stay in town!!!!

HORRIBLE! Their terrace (which is actually a Wintergarten style) is full of smoke. Staff was constantly smoking by the entrance door but in the Wintergarten. She was leaving the cigarette in the ashtray just to return to take another inhale. I assume the hands were not washed in between. And we on the terrasee with kids we exposed to all that smoke. The indoor space and terrace are also quite scruffy. It is a place for buddy-chain smokers-drinkers . Pathetic also a a teaching letter to the gasts on behaving rules sticked to all windows, without the staff following it themselves.

A small café where only regulars are welcome and others can go and be seen! Too bad for the only café in the area. The lady suddenly lost 20 customers who wanted to eat even though there was room. This time, I definitely won't come back and don't recommend this cafe, especially since it's the second time that the reception has been bad.

A real disaster. The water doesn't flow into the toilet so imagine the hygiene. We are a family of 6 (3 children and the grandmother) and we arrived at midday to eat and we were refused a table inside with the excuse that it was reserved, which was not true, but we We didn't understand it straight away, so we sat outside in the middle of winter because the children were hungry, then after waiting 40 minutes the waitresses avoided us and only served their friends or acquaintances. Being very cold we decided to leave and when I politely asked why they refused to serve us I was sent to pasture. proof that they didn't want to serve us at all but then why make a whole family wait cruelly especially with young children, frankly it's a shame especially since during covid we have always supported restaurants so the least of Politeness means being correct and nice. and a little anecdote, one of their employees smoked a joint that stank from miles away and was completely stoned. The Tramontana Café, the question does not arise, don't run away...

A climb with the MOB under the snow transports you, the toboggan run delights children and brings out the carefreeness of adults. The Tramontana Café is an obligatory STOP for better at the end of the trail. A place to know and that I recommend. We meet great people there, a pleasant team, a simple and friendly clientele. You can only leave this place with a smile. A beautiful, clean outdoor terrace, careful decoration and messages of life that do good. This place has a beautiful soul.

Amazing. We got some drinks and sat up front in the "beach" section. We were with a 2 year old, and rather than going inside to change his diaper, we did it quickly outside (sorry for the details, but it was only a small pee). My older daughter wanted to go into the cafe to throw the diaper in the trash and the lady forbade her to throw the diaper away. A lady at a table even added that they sorted "here". What categories are diapers put into, anyway? Because here or elsewhere, it seems to me that it’s going in the trash, right? Especially since we were customers. In addition, people smoked a lot and it smelled of cigarettes everywhere. In short, an unwelcoming place and people, I do not recommend this place.

Absolutely horrible. The terrace is constantly smoke filled. This is the second time I came here and every time the staff are on the terrace smoking. It’s impossible to breathe. So I sat indoors, the staff were rude, the croissant hard and stale, coffee tasted of burned char. Undrinkable. Awful

Dismal welcome. Drunk boss in the middle of the afternoon. Unfriendly waitress overwhelmed with 2 beers and a salad. I do not recommend this establishment. Visit in May 2022.

The staff are friendly, we have a good quantity of food (even if it doesn't show in the photo). I was even made to taste the tartare before serving to see if it was too spicy. I recommend this restaurant!

Fair prices, nice service and good portions. Not too little, not too much. Tip: the homemade cakes - very tasty!

We also ended up here by chance. A free train journey to Les Avants/Sonloup & then something to eat in this lovely little village.Friendly welcome & a convivial atmosphere. We sat outside. Good wine & a great steak & desert.The owner is very friendly.Young female chef.

Wir sind per Zufall hier gelandet und wurden total positiv überrascht. Wir wurden so nett bedient und haben ausgezeichnet gegessen. Die Corona Schutzmassnahmen wurden vorbildlich umgesetzt. Bravo!

Petit bistro très sympa. J’y ai mangé la fondue d’alpage, ma préférée à ce jour. La planchette de charcuterie était également excellente avec les produits locaux de la ferme voisine. Le service est super sympa. Le patron Vincent est un fan du chasselas, laissez vous guider pour découvrir ce nectar méconnu.

Exceptional welcome, all the staff are super friendly. The charcuterie board is excellent, all local products. To follow an excellent fondue, tasty and creamy, which comes from the pass just above. I recommend without reservation.

L'ambiance générale est plutôt sympathique et la terrasse agréable A priori tout bien pour un pot après la randonnée - On commande des boissons, une tarte aux pruneaux et une autre au citron - plutôt correctesSur le ticket on retrouve deux tartes au citron à 8 francs pièces - oupsss pas mal cher tout de même car on est pas dans un resto chico...On avise que c'est une au citron et une autre aux pruneaux - c'est le même prix selon la serveuse - sur l'ardoise on voit tartes aux pommes ou abricots à 6.- francs et on s'étonne - que neni, le pruneau Aux Avants c'est plus cher... Franchement 8.- francs pour un bout de gâteau classique, c'est une arnaque en ordre et cela mérite d'être répétéAlors entendez :-)Nous on n'y retournera plus !!!!!!

A small bistro in size, but big in its setting, its atmosphere and its cuisine... it's definitely worth the detour above Montreux!

You can have a drink in this setting. But avoid eating there. Soup not homemade and not good at all. Really inedible gratin, terribly basic fondue. Limit white wine. Simple cooking yes but don't push it anyway. And above all, avoid the interior

Country bistro with a warm atmosphere, friendly owners and funny regulars. Pretty terrace and no-fuss but tasty and hearty cuisine!

To eat on the go. Welcoming service, but you quickly become uncomfortable because of the supervision which seems light and unprofessional.
