We eat lunch here regularly. The food and service are always wonderful! Price-performance is definitely right for the varied lunch menu.

Beautifully renovated restaurant with very good cuisine. From classics to seasonal dishes to recommendations from the chef. Always delicious! Great atmosphere in the restaurant, but it's also nice to sit outside... few free parking spaces.

Creative, fresh and very tasty cuisine: We had, among other things, the three-course surprise menu for 64 CHF. This was consistently a positive surprise and a real culinary delight: As a starter, a fine pumpkin carpaccio with salmon, scallops and prawns. Followed by perfectly fried lamb chops with a finely balanced vegetable side dish and potato gratin. And the crowning finale is a gratinated sour cherry gratin with yoghurt ice cream and Basel treat “streusel”. Really delicate and highly recommended :-) Once again a big compliment and thank you to the chef for this delicious surprise.

It's a nice restaurant and the staff are very friendly and competent. I ordered chicken garnished with various salads. The quality was good, the quantity was too little. Some leaf, cucumber, celery and carrot salad. Except for the leaf lettuce, the salads had space on a tablespoon, which I thought was a shame. The price was considerable and didn't quite fit.

Difficult to judge: we were there twice: the first time we had to return the beef fillet because the meat had thick tendons. We were here without an overnight stay. Food was tasty, quantity was sufficient, warm, service was friendly, waiting time was reasonable, dessert was not convincing, was too dry. Prices reasonable.
