We were here at Restaurant Raurica yesterday on Valentine's Day, if I could I would give 10 stars everywhere. The food was a dream we had the Valentine's Day menu. Sensational restaurant in Kaiseraugst. One of the three of us already knew it and raved about it highly. Rustic ambience meets fine tablecloths and outstanding service. (I would have liked a lady to be a bit warmer) But the most important thing is of course the food and that completely convinced and inspired us. The starters (beef carpaccio, salad and homemade ravioli) were very good. An open grill in the dining room is something special and the chef conjured up one delicious piece of meat after another on the table. Grilled the beef fillet and veal to the desired point. I was served my 200g lamb fillet twice (first two fillets and then another later), which is something I have never experienced before. But it doesn't seem to be unusual in Switzerland. In fact, they were no longer completely pink, but still very tender, juicy and very tasty. The desserts were also really good and so it was a successful menu. The chef's brother is a whiskey dealer and so you are often lucky enough to have special rarities available for tasting. Overall a really great evening.

Ambience was top. ChateauBriand/Tiramisu and the special mustard sauce were heavenly. The service was more than very good. For me it was the best restaurant that I have visited and eaten so far. Definitely recommended!
