Very tasty poke bowls, but unfortunately the portions are a bit too big. Order and pay at the counter, food and drinks are brought to the table. Very nice service and great value for money.

The cappuccino is delicious and those chocolate covered hazelnuts ... glad I only got 1...I could not stop myself eating them :)

We've loved coming here since it opened - the food, coffee, croissants, ambience and, above all, the incredibly friendly service speak for themselves. Whether for a business lunch or with children - everyone is welcome here! 🤗

Nice place to take a few drinks and enjoy a good time

The ambience is great; cozy light, comfortable chairs and super good cocktails! But: The service is catastrophic; Closes at 2:00 a.m. on the weekend and the waiters started clearing tables and removing lamps at 1:15 a.m. At 20 minutes later they asked about one last round and wanted to cash in... that's not possible; If you're open until 2 a.m., don't start closing almost an hour before!

was there for a coffee, the coffee was very good & the service staff was very friendly I just think that the 1st charge for plant-based milk is a bit overpriced and no longer appropriate. It's a shame

Café/bar with a relaxed atmosphere. I can't judge the food there because I didn't eat anything there. But the fact that there is a cappuccino or a chaî latte with oat milk is a positive thing. Should actually be standard in 2024, but unfortunately it isn't. A bit cramped, but OK.

I held a small event (20 people) at L’Atelier Basel. Ms. Kleiber responded to all of my requests and the whole organization ran smoothly. I would like to thank Moana Kleiber and her team again for the great service. The restaurant is very nice and tastefully decorated. We were able to enjoy the event in the lower area in a cozy atmosphere. The poke bowls were super tasty, there was something to suit every taste. A top price-performance ratio. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back!

L’atelier is a very nice restaurant. Unfortunately we had to wait a relatively long time for our drinks that evening.

L'Atelier is a tremendous place for a drink on the evening, with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. However, you should also try out their bowls! Absolutely delicious, packed with fresh ingredients, prepared to order and ready in no time. 100% recommend!

We had coffee, tea and pain au chocolat for breakfast, at definitely Swiss prices. Modern place, friendly staff.

This lunchtime we sat there at a large workbench and ate wonderful Poké Bowls. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly and explained all possible variations. The bowl with tuna was very tasty and the portion was quite generous! We will be back!

The bar is great! It has virtually every drink your heart desires - but the waiting times are very long. Since the bar is very “in” at the moment, it is usually very busy. The event room downstairs is very cool to rent! There are bowls for lunch, but for the price paid they are rather small compared to the competition.

The best poke bowls in all of Basel!! Really tasty, fair prices and large portions. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Always come back.

The cocktails are simply wonderful and the atmosphere is perfect for a drink after work or in the evening. The wait for the drinks was very long even though there wasn't much going on. But when they finally arrived we weren't disappointed.

The poke bowls are fantastic - I deduct one star because the takeaway bowls are significantly smaller than when you eat in. The service is very dependent on who you are dealing with. We had exceptionally friendly waiters, but also some who were a bit arrogant. The place is recommendable overall, mainly due to the exceptionally tasty bowls!

One of my favorite bars in Basel. However, I would like there to be smaller bowls to order in addition to the huge portions. Most of the time I don't eat there because it's just too big a portion for me and I don't want to waste food and don't want to pay the price for half a portion. Staff very friendly and attentive. Aperitifs are always very tasty and free tap water with the drink is great in my opinion!

We visited for some afterwork drinks on a wednesday evening. Service was very attentive, quick and both of the waitresses were friendly and charming - they took good care of us and our table. The guy on the bowl counter was also a superb host and super nice! The drinks and food were fantastic. Thanks very much for a nice evening 😊

Friendly staff, delicious drinks and great atmosphere. I can also recommend this location for your own event - a friend celebrated her birthday there and the room also included an own barkeeper and a special drinks menu for the evening. Definitely dropping by again very soon!

Really good and freshly made Poke Bowl at l’Atelier. I really like the interior and vibe, and you can sit even outside the restaurant. The staff was super friendly and kindly helped us to pick the best options for our bowls. Only thing to consider is that you only get poke bowls or drinks, there are no other food options available.

Despite a reservation (including confirmation!), our table was already taken. Too bad and disappointing...

The bowls are very good and the drinks are very special. Only the prices (for the bowls) are on the upper limit.

I suffered looking for some nice cafe where I could open my laptop before busy lunchtime. In Basel, probably this is the only place, or Starbucks!! Nice atmosphere, until the lunch time comes - during lunch break, it seemed like another place (in a good way) selling a lot of Poke Bowl. great concept!! they have nice seats inside + downstairs, and in a corridor between other shops covered with roof (like on the video). WOW!

Today, Monday, September 26th, 2022, I was at L'Atelier for the first time. The food 🍲 the drink 🥤 convinced me. The service staff were friendly. What was a bit annoying was that you were allowed to get food at the bar and the drinks were brought to the table. You stood in line and the drink was left at your seat unattended the whole time. Maybe with the manageable menu it is possible to order food at the table. I thought the food was delicious and I liked the fact that you could put it together yourself. This is a restaurant with delicious poke bowls that are easier to access than sushi. On top of quinoa or rice or coconut rice Choose salmon, tuna, tofu, or vegetables, and choose toppings and sauces to your liking. Fish is 24.5 Tofu is 17.5 Vegetables cost 14.5 francs. it's good

I visited the restaurant for the first time. The service was very friendly, the poke bowl with salmon was very tasty. The macchiato was also good, but I personally didn't like the house iced tea. The restaurant is modernly furnished, but I think it lacks some charm. For lunch or quick but highly recommended.

Very nice bar, especially the seat at the back has a great ambience, fine signature drinks, highly recommended. The only point I can complain about is that the drinks take a little long. Once I had to ask again after 15 minutes, but received a 30% discount (excellent complaint handling!).

Bad security guards drank a beer in front of the bar and were no longer allowed to go in. Bad restaurant. Unfriendly employees!!!

Recommended for an aperitif or meeting friends. Reservations are recommended if you are traveling with a group because the bar is always busy in the evenings.

Great selection of Gin. This place is located in an alley and might be missed. It is only 10 minutes walk from the main station. The atmosphere there is great. I went with colleagues from work for drinks on a Tuesday. It was full so we sat outside, which is also a nice place and not so loud. They served only Poke for dinner, which looked nice but we didnt eat in the end. They have Gin from around the world and also their own (E15) - it did not disappoint! The other drinks also looked nice and the beer was good. I think it is a place totally worth going.

A first experience of going for a drink in a bar. Honestly, no regrets. I will come back often! It was very pleasant for me, who had never dared to cross the threshold of an establishment. I visited L'Atelier with colleagues in October 2021. Great friendly, committed team. Comprehensive and good offers. Ambience really great! Conclusion gladly again!

L’atelier. The atmosphere look like a real Artist Atelier. The smallest detail are though. You have 2 terrasse one in the front of the Bar one behind, and it is totally covered, a beautiful place. They are on of my favorite Cocktail place ! They do more then great, And then make some delicious Poke Bowl for food. I can highly recommended this Bar from the breakfast till late. They will have something for you.
