If you pass rue du Petit Chêne and, remembering the excellent atmosphere that reigned there before, you decide to go for a drink, you need to know the specificities of the place: 1/ To avoid upsetting the deities who work behind the bar, bow when passing through the door, and wait until someone looks at you before moving with your head bowed towards the ground. 2/ Remember that you are only customers, therefore inferior beings. Don't assume that sitting down for a drink will be so easy, it requires solving a puzzle. 3/ To solve the riddle, be humble but confident. This is generally always the same: “Have you booked??!!”. 4/ Don't look surprised, or the divinity will immediately sniff out your weakness. Answer that, yes, you have reserved, otherwise you will be immediately sent back to the cobblestones of rue du Petit Chêne. 5/ While they consult their grimoire to find your name, look annoyed and impatient. It reassures the deities: the famous mirror effect. WARNING: The deities are not stupid, they have anticipated, and know that customers are deceitful beings who must be wary of: on all the tables there are “Reserved” papers. 6/ At that moment there is a chance that, somewhat confused, the deities will feel obliged to make you sit at a table. At this point, do not make the fatal mistake of assuming that any advice can be given to you when choosing a wine!! Deities have very limited knowledge despite their great powers. 7/ Don't wait too long once the order has been placed and the glasses have started, because the deities have turned over a giant hourglass once you are seated. They intend to be able to once again refuse this table that you occupy to other impudent people who come without reservation. 8/ For a future visit, be careful if you try to book by telephone. The bar is inexplicably always full. My advice: choose another address, it will be simpler.

Great atmosphere, very cozy, not stuck together, the service is great, it arrives quickly. A good knowledge of the wine list (don't hesitate to ask the waiters). Finally, the dishes were all very delicious! The extremely well seasoned Burrata, creamy as it should be with its garlic toast, the foie gras with the toasted brioche, perfect with the salt and chutney provided! Concerning the goat cheese toasts, it was perhaps missing a little honey but they were still very good!! And the cheese board was fine (not a fan of basic blue cheese, too bad to have used a slightly basic soft cheese) Conclusion I will absolutely go back but I won't have the cheese board, I will just have the Tomme Vaudoise instead and theflamenkuche which looked really good!!

Great welcome, tapas to die for and with fresh produce which is rare in the bars of Lausanne. Finally a good address! For those who don't like wine (like me) they make excellent Mojitos, there is something for everyone. You can go there without hesitation.

It's a very chic bar, very welcoming, beautiful terrace at the back! The drinks are very good, the food excellent ;) I recommend it!
