This place is a must dine in Verbier if you are skiing on the mountain- food and service are excellent. They know you are skiing and are attentive- our waiter suggested our meals and they were fabulous- try the salad carrefour or pick from a selection of Roesti

Very nice place in Verbier. Delicious food and they often vary the menu and have specials outside the menu. They also have tasty vegan options such as a curry. Swiss prices, but comparable to others on the slopes. They serve the food very quickly. Sitting outside here is enjoying the winter sun.

Came here on two separate occasions, and both have been great. For dinner we ordered the chateaubriand which I highly recommend to anyone, and for lunch halfway the ski day we stopped for a fondue. Both amazing.

The food is great, and very generous portions! Probably one of the best views to dine with. Very convenient to get to by bus from anywhere in the town. The only glitch for me was the service- they are very busy & that’s probably why. The waiter didn’t ask me for water, and when I asked for water, he asked me if I wanted still or sparkle - half or one litr instead of informing about house / tap water. Because later I saw other tables get served house water.

Rude maitre D (woman black grey hair) at front desk She even refused to take a booking for the next day. We won’t come back due to her hostile attitude to customers.

Always great for a lunch in the sun

The weather was good and we ate on the terrace with spectacular views. Good service from the staff. Efficiency and speed. Relatively reasonable prices considering the area. Exquisite desserts. Special mention to the one made with chestnuts (they are like spaghetti with an original texture). Reservations are advised. With high traffic it is difficult to park.

Not the first time for us, we come every year since few years now. However this time, we were extremely disappointed. The tataki was as usual very good, the beef was fine but the plat du jour very disappointing, especially the saute de boeuf (not really a sauté but a mix of pasta with veggies and dry beef), and the dessert aux marrons very dry (they forgot the cream)….Unfortunately I don’t think we will come back on our next trip to Verbier…

A favourite for every visit to Verbier. Usually a lovely walk across the mountain from Ruinettes and then down to Carrefour for great views over Verbier, very attentive service and authentic food. Great outdoor area for a sunny mountain day but also plenty indoors - still with views - if the rain comes in as it did on our last visit. All the usual favourites like roesti and fondue 🫕 and some daily propositions but maybe my favourite so far is the chateaubriand.

Dinner and lunch 2 days in a row. Amazing food and the fondue!! Couldn't stop, it was that good! And no one was basically able to finish their mains after the fondue.

Very good restaurant, best rösti of Verbier

Highly overrated, below standard food and absolutely no flavour from salad to the main course. Tried many dishes but useless. Steak comes in sizzling form and probably can be best out of all but still average. Service was good, staff was good but food was very average and don’t like it at all. I think they are recommended by hotels because of tie ups but definitely not worth it. W hotel recommended us to go here which was not a good experience.

Buzzing restaurant on the slopes. Typical Swiss alpine menu, with great food alongside a nice selection of wine. Setting and view was amazing too. Nice post-lunch ski after a few drinks!

Perfect and very well installed in the evening upstairs, like in a chalet. Impeccable service and delicious, authentic dishes. Exceptional view of the resort. Parking prohibited at the foot of the restaurant, park further down or take the bus.

Great food. Really enjoyed it. In the evenings there is a bus service every 30 minutes to take you back down to the town center

A restaurant on the way to Verbier from Ruinettes offering a nice view of the town. Interesting concept of meats cooked and served on stones. Ingredient quality was quite average though - the steaks were rougher tough and difficult to chew. Service was pretty well organized. My rating: 3.7

I come here a few times a year when I’m in the country and I love it. It’s my favourite restraint in Verbier. Their meats on hot stone are so fun and I think about it year round because they also taste so good. The rosti is great and so is the different types of fondue. Also it’s really easy to get to via the bus which stops right outside. (Be warned Car Parking is a bit more difficult because the side of the road often forms sheet ice and makes it really hard to get out of the spot without sliding)

The Roste was excellent and great views from the restaurant. Well worth it.

Food is ok. Staff was very friendly and recognized they served us the wrong beef different to what we ordered and took it off the bill.

One of the most beautiful castles in French-speaking Switzerland. Very well maintained. We went for Christmas at the castle, really very well organized for the children, there were tea, coffee and food stalls. Activities, wreath creations, cooking classes… I really recommend going there

While passing through Valais for two days, we tried our luck in this restaurant even though we didn't have a reservation and we were not disappointed! An excellent meal with top-notch service. A breathtaking view ! We highly recommend! Thank you for your welcome and your excellent dishes!

Despite arriving late and meaning a reservation, we were seated very quickly and we were able to taste magnificent dishes with these local products. It was a treat with a panorama 😍

Magnificent place but big disappointment, we had the vegetable soup of the day large model for CH.frs 17.00.....when we saw the soup we thought there was a mistake and received the small soup...but no it was really the big one, a small bowl half filled and made of vegetables in frozen bags.

I love this restaurant and have for so many years. Great ambience and service. Wide choice on the menu and great views over Verbier. 5 stars!!!

They are terrible in terms of dietary requirements. Tried to serve my daughter who is allergic to gluten bread. They live in the Stone Age! Such a shame because the view is very nice…

Delicious, with beautiful view and very nice service. A must try is the tarte-tatin, it’s their specialty, as well as their rösti’s. However the portions are pretty big, but delicious.

Every dish we had was amazing !!! you should try their specialty L’avalanche ,it is an interesting combo , also the tagliatelle napoletana with a real homemade napoletana sauce . And the tarts … the tarts were the most amazing desert i’ve ever had honestly.

Friendly, clean restaurant, attentive waitresses and an excellent meal with a magnificent view and blazing sun. This is the second time I've come and I'm delighted! THANKS!

What a disappointment. We (6p) had made a reservation 3 weeks earlier for the 14:00 shift, confirmed and reconfirmed on the same day. We were well on time (1:30 PM) but the waitress asked us to wait until a table became available. Meanwhile, the queue of new guests got longer and longer, but everyone got a table except us. Once again told the waitress that we were still waiting while others were being seated, we unfortunately had to leave at 2:20 pm. The waitress indicated that the guests at the table she reserved for us had not yet left. It was too late for us and we had to leave.. Le Carrefour has 2 lunch shifts (at 12:00 and at 14:00) and reservations are required. A disastrous approach: not all guests necessarily need the same amount of time for their lunch. This was also apparent from the fact that guests were constantly leaving and numerous guests in the queue were seated from 13:30 onwards. Sadly, we were kept waiting. I can understand that some guests want to stay longer than 2 hours. All restaurants, large and small, can handle that. Unfortunately, Le Carrefour cannot. Very unprofessional and unreliable in my view and time to change..

Top restaurant - the salad with homemade sauce is absolutely top!!!

During the winter season we go to Carrefour at least 5 to 10 times. The place is amazing and you have a great view over Verbier. The food is simple but good and for Verbier not overpriced. If you spend your time in Verbier you must go there for Lunch or Dinner

Superb Swiss restaurant selling the best rosti around. A priority for any trip to Verbier. Can ski to and from.

Watched owner shout at table next to us for 10 minutes straight while not wearing a face mask after they politely complained about a late order. Made a total scene with whole restaurant staring. He did that twice. The swiss are not renowned for their customer service but this felt like a new low.
