Great food, good wine, reasonable price (for Verbier), nice atmosphere. Service could be a little better. Despite a stressful job, it would be great to see a smile and if there were a few seconds for a quick conversation. Complaining on a high level ;) Our recommendation. We will be back.

Although they were busy they offered us a table for a limited time. Service was quick and the food delicious. We've booked a table for next time.

In the heart of Verbier village at a very convenient location. Excellent service and cosy ambiance. Fondue needs little more options as natural one was very standard. Bread with fondue needs more stale taste to it as it was relatively fresh. Hope to see more options in fondue, possibly with truffle etc

The service remains to be desired, the Chinese fondue is not recommended (nerves in the meat and he offers you with chicken)

Had to send the meat back 3(!). I asked them from the very beginning to make the beef fillet very well done and they came back 3 times with the plate full of blood. Neither waiter, no cook listen to the customer. Overall unpleasant experience.

Good food overall but the staff is not friendly, smiling and it's LONG! 50min to have starters served. A few questions about the card and we are told that “everything is noted”!

Nice family run restaurant/hotel in Verbier. Very good and authentic Swiss/Valais food. Cozy and warm place to have dinner. Personal were friendly and helpful. The fondue was maybe a little bit too small for 2 people, at least after a day of hiking 😄 Anyways I recommend the place

We went inside, but were completely ignored for 5 minutes. And that feels really strange. We just walked outside again. I really have no idea how these people can run a restaurant like that.

Food is delicious. The food is delicious. Onion soup is the best I've ever eaten. I recommend it 100%. You need to make reservations to eat because the place is very popular.

Great food, friendly staff and good atmosphere. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles and an attentive service. The restaurant has a warm ambiance, a good wine list but what truly stood out was the service, from the lady at the reception to our waiter that brought us the cheese for the raclette, the staff was beyond friendly and hospitable. Overall, we were reminded of what a pleasant experience having raclette in the mountains can be and I would recommend going here without hesitation

Good food however the environment could be warmer or let's say the waiters could smile sometimes and look at the customers when they call them for 10 minutes. Eeeeeexorbitant price! Value for money just no. Ok Switzerland is expensive but this is beyond belief. Go on your way and prevent your savings from melting like snow in the sun of a ghost day in mid-August under 50°. Patrick who takes care of the raclette is nice <3

The wine is good, the meat ok, the fondue man very friendly. For the rest, it's nice to be expensive and all, but having qualified staff would be even better. The excuse "it's the temporary workers' fault" is more painful than their service errors.

We had a lovely dinner at Les Chamois. It was an overall good experience. Staff was efficient, direct and friendly. We had the escargot to start with a green salad. The main we had the grilled poussin and fondue (for 1, it is a good portion to be shared for 2). All the food was very well prepared.

Expensive, lacks flavor, awful service. Looks elsewhere in Verbier. They treat you like you're an inconvenience to them.

Of what there is in the area, it is the most economical and pleasant. Quiet atmosphere, good red wine at a reasonable price for Switzerland and a lovingly prepared lunch menu.

Food was amazing! If only for the food I would give this place a 5 star review. We had the cheese fondue and the Chateaubriand and it was all cooked perfectly. The service unfortunately brought down the review to a 3. We had to flag someone down every time we needed something. Took us almost 3 hours to eat a dinner for 2 people. Unfortunate for a place that came so highly recommended from our hotel concierge.

The worse staff we have found in Verbier!! We left the restaurant without eat as the staff was so rude, and keeping getting wrong orders and making faces as they looking annoyed to serve( even if they are there to do it) .Chloe was the waitress that put us way from this restaurant, her customer service was unbelievable , she’s rude, arrogant and makes me feel so uncomfortable! The city was pleasure to visit and everyone so helpful with visitors, we been many times in Switzerland and never found ourselves so uncomfortable!

Amazing how reviews can differ so wildly but our experience was very disappointing. Other reviews on here of staff attitude is spot in - where they seem to be doing you a favour by having you in their restaurant does did not sit well with us. Also they pop a mug of 4 tiny slices of bread on the table, say nothing, and then charge you €6.50 for the privilege. I’d honestly rather go where we feel more welcome.

After dining in a few locations in this area, and having a meal this evening, there are a few areas that really stand out. 1. The atmosphere is friendly, it’s well lit and people where engaging and honest (not like US service where it has no authenticity or English where people couldn’t care less about your business). 2. The food for the price was outstanding. The starters where fresh, the mains meat was cooked to perfection (sauce could have been a little more fragrant) and the veg was al dente with a lovely garnish sauce. 3. The dessert literally had me moaning which was embarrassing but Swiss Chocolate Fonant for me was world class. There are many options in Verbier, and if you are looking for a family friendly restaurant, without pertinacious attitudes and very good food/service you need to give this place a go.

The products are good but the service was particularly slow. The card was not given to us on arrival. We took the raclette at our discretion, once the first plates were served the raclette was removed and we had to wait a very long time to get other plates. To finish we ordered a coffee and a scoop of ice cream, after more than 10 minutes we left without receiving dessert and coffee. No apology, no gesture... Too bad, everything was very good.

We waited 1h30 to get our fondue. I'm still giving it 4 stars because there was apparently a staffing problem. But I took off a star afterwards because the boss could have at least offered us the digestive given the note we left that evening...

We had a great time... Friendly service and the honey-roasted pork belly is a must, and not to mention the tagliatelle with pan-fried foie gras... If you are in Verbier, stop by

Arrogant people , empty place , no vibes. Verbier its a happy city, this is not the type of place you should go. Go to La Grange , good food with humble people.

You definitely have to visit this restaurant while in Verbier! It's really cozy inside, they offer a nice variety of meat dishes, but also delicious founde! You also have to try one of their dessert plates.

D abord l endroit est magnifique. Une cheminée au fond de la salle pour le plaisir et pour certains morceaux de viande.... L’ entrée avec les os à moëlle est copieuse et tellement bonne, le repas est une réussite totale. Mais la cerise sur le gâteau ce sont les sourires et la gentillesse! Nous y sommes allez pour la première fois et ce fut une chouette découverte. Des plats peuvent être grillés au feu de bois.La cassolette de chanterelles est délicieuse ! Carte variée (plats locaux du valais, pâtes, viandes grillées, etc.).Joli cadre intérieur. Nous y reviendront sans hésiter lors de notre prochain passage à Verbier.

Bon accueil au départ mais decevant au niveau du service. Les plats n'ont pas étaient servis pour toute la famille en même temps et situation similaire pour une autre table à côté. Nous avons appris que la raclette et sa garnison veut dire avec pomme de terre et fromage uniquement. À mon âge, après avoir mangé des raclettes un peu par tout et comme décrit dans toutes les recettes la charcuterie, la salade verte et les cornichons sont indissociables d'une vrai raclette. Le personnel du Chamois à voulu nous faire croire que dans le Valais la raclette se borne à du fromage fondu et des pommes de terre pour 34 francs suisses par personnes. Honte à eux

Très bonne expérience de dîner de groupe. Bonne salade verte en entrée. Le veau aux morilles que j’ai commandé était très bon. Légumes croquants. Seul bémol le prix des vins...mais bon, nous sommes à Verbier...

En diciembre estuvimos en Verbier de vacaciones en la casa de nuestros amigos para esquiar un poco.Afortunadamente, nos mostraron muchos lugares, y nos encantó Les Chamois para cenar, la calidez del interior es justo lo que estás buscando cuando hace frío.Pedimos muchas bebidas, tablas de jamón y queso, cordero y un postre encantador que no puedo describir. Seguramente volvería de nuevo.

Une des pires expériences de ma vie! Le service était déplorable, les serveurs étaient débordés par pas grand choses. Nous avons attendu 1h15 pour avoir une fondue. Nous avons eu le malheur de leur faire remarquer que nous attendions depuis longtemps, aucune excuse mais des remarques désobligeantes. La nourriture était très moyen. C est un établissement qui a perdu beaucoup de sa renommée avec le changement de chef. Très déçue !

Restaurant in Verbier, very well located, I had a grilled beef steak and it was great, the service staff is very friendly and very helpful. I recommend it for a family or a romantic dinner for two.

It wasn’t very nice...

Nous avions connu l'autre gestion du restaurant de l'an passé. C'était excellent. Nous avons quelque peu déchanté cette saison. Nous avons réservé pour manger une pierrade, mais elle n'existe plus. Nous avons donc commandé une fondue aux tomates. Nous nous sommes demandés si la portion était bien pour 2 personnes !!! Dans la station la quantité est le double pour une fondue pour 2 personnes. Heureusement que nous avions commandé une assiette de viande séchée en entrée. Le restaurant était essentiellement composé de clientèle russe ou des pays de l'est. Donc à voir si on veut passer une soirée avec des valaisans ou de la clientèle qui n'est pas intégrée à la vie valaisanne!!!!! Dommage.

Une nouvelle équipe depuis cet hiver, au top! C’ était déjà excellent avant, mais la c’ est encore mieux! Bravo à Lara et la famille oreiller pour leur accueil!

Repas très décevant pour le réveillon de la saint Sylvestre. nous avons payé 350 CHF + 110 CHF de boissons à deux et sans le fromage. Le menu annoncé était en accord avec la soirée mais pas la qualité des produits. Seuls le foie gras et une crème de chou fleur (il fallait oser) aux cèpes étaient bons. Mais la coquille sain Jacques était forte en goût, la glace à la figue en guise de trou normand était beaucoup trop sucrée, la viande (filet de bœuf et de veau) n'étaient pas bonnes. Quant au dessert: un carpaccio d'ananas en boite avec une tout petite verrine de glace au Genepi: une honte. Bref c'était décevant et surtout beaucoup beaucoup trop cher.

Une ambiance conviviale et montagnarde, avec une cuisine copieuse et recherchée des produits du terroir.Accueil chaleureux et souriant.Un bon moment à partager, nous y retournons avec grand plaisir. (Réserver est souvent nécessaire)

Good food at the buffet and friendly service

Wir haben tatsächlich versucht, dort eines Tages zu Mittag zu essen, und wir waren zu spät. Sie hatten gerade geschlossen! Yvette bot uns jedoch an, uns ein Sandwich zu machen! Das Interieur ist rustikal und charmant! Sie sollen jedoch bald auf einen Golfplatz ziehen! Wir genossen das traditionelle Fondue, grünen Salat, Kalbfleisch mit Morcheln, Vanilleeis mit einer leckeren warmen Schokoladensauce! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Hier soir, je commande 1/2 assiette de viande séchée : Fr. 28.- !! Je demande à la serveuse si elle ne s'est pas trompée et aurait tipé l'assiette entière : non l'entière est à Fr. 34.-. Quelle exagération !! je fréquence Verbier depuis des années et n'ai jamais vu de tel prix !

Très bonne adresse avec une carte variée où vous trouverez autant des spécialités locales que d’excellentes viandes préparées au grill ou des pâtes fraîches. Mention spéciale au pot au feu maison dans son bouillon, un régal ! Les portions sont généreuses, le service est efficace et attentionné et le cadre est typique. Je recommande !

Siamo finiti un po’ per caso in questo locale pieno a ogni ora. Servizio lento ma cortese, che lascia godere del buon cibo e della meravigliosa griglia nel gigante camino: atmosfera incantevole. Rapporto qualità/prezzo nella media. Consigliato!

De retour pour les fêtes de fin d' année, on s' est essayé à manger de la viande, car à voir travailler le chef sur son grill donne vraiment envie. Du coup, le résultat est excellent.la viande est bonne, l' accompagnement est abondant, une vraie belle assiette. Au final, un très bon repas, dans une ambiance fort agréable.

Merci pour ce bon moment, nous avons opté pour l’US Beef. Viande délicieuse, cuisson au grill et très bien cuite. Plusieurs choix d’accompagnements et les sauces morilles, poivres et beurre maison que j’ai gouté étaient bonnes.super cuisinier et bel accueil on le suivra et on se réjouit de le retrouver l’année prochaine.
