We really enjoyed our visit to the Pyramids restaurant. The service was extremely friendly and funny. The two of us ate 1001 Nights, with various mezze dishes as a starter and dessert. The food was very tasty. The ambience is very idyllic in Egyptian style, which we really liked. Definitely worth a visit, see for yourself!! 😁 Have fun

Excellent food, good ambience and friendly service

The staff tried very hard and were in a very good mood. Some restaurants can take a lesson from this. The food was excellent and very varied if you choose one of the menus. The place is nicely decorated. There are tables that are further apart and are good for dates. You can go there every now and then, even in summer it's nice to be outside

We had take away mezze and hot mains twice here already and both times the food was delicious! The owner is the sweetest man and made us mint tea while we were e waiting and gave us baklava as a treat. Would recommend 10/10!

We went with 1001 nights for two on the menu. I must say food was just average. Price point was ridiculous for that kind of average/below average flavor. Food arrived after a really long wait. What I'm most dissatisfied was with the owner constantly reminding us about our one year old who was very well behaved. Just do not appreciate the unsolicited advice on how to take care of a kid in restaurant. We are his parents after all. Felt more like the owner was trying too hard to please the other customers ordering drinks if you know what I mean. $$ Sorry not coming here ever again!

I dined here with 4 others. I was able to reserve this place easily. Definitely gets crowded in the evening. The meat is entirely halal as it is usually in every Arab establishment. The food was alright but the company makes or breaks it. I expected the tajine to be more flavoursome! The service was decent and the man was very kind. The atmosphere was chill especially because we dined outside. I enjoyed it but I don’t think I’ll be revisiting. Nonetheless doesn’t hurt to try this place out if you haven’t already - possibly different items on the menu.

Authentic Egyptian restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and beautiful terrace. The staff was warm and the service excellent. We had the 1001 night dinner menu for 2 people with different mezzes, everything was very tasty and also recommended for vegetarians. Good value for money.

The best oriental restaurant in all of Switzerland The grilled taste is amazing Mr. Samer is excellent I advise anyone who is Arab or loves oriental food to go there The prices are also excellent, not as expensive as other restaurants in Switzerland

There are no words in any language to describe the splendid food we ate at this restaurant. The food arrived piping hot and smelt delicious even from a mile away. Our family aren’t used to Egyptian and Middle Eastern cuisine, however, I could wholeheartedly say that we have surely fallen in love with the dishes that we ate! The restaurant interior design was breathtaking and one could truly tell that there was a keen attention to detail on their part when designing this wholesome restaurant, from the illuminating lights to the vibrant table cloth, the entire restaurant felt like another world! Moreover, the service was excellent and the servers were especially kind and welcoming upon entering the restaurant. Our family would recommend this restaurant to anyone, whether you’re from Switzerland or Egypt, please make sure to stop by to check out this hidden gem!

Lunch menu is a discretion and costs CHF 23 (good value). and performance ratio). The service is super friendly and personable. The buffet is rich, but at peak times certain items are empty but are quickly refilled. Food is very good for a buffet! Highly recommended for a healthy and quick meal during your lunch break!

Very nice halal restaurant serving typical Egyptian and Middle Eastern fare. The food was well made and fresh. Tasty! Service was friendly and timely. Location is in a quieter less touristy area. So it was nice to be away from the crowds.

Nice Egyptian restaurant. With a friend we tried the Bedouin menu from the evening menu. We liked it, but I have the impression that not everything is homemade and made with fresh ingredients. I found the quality just ok. The service was okay but I didn't receive any clever advice about wine or beer accompaniment. The atmosphere and decoration inside are nice, but nothing special. I find the price of the menu a bit expensive for the quality. So you shouldn't have too high expectations when you visit Pyramids, but it's still a nice restaurant.

To visit Pyramids is like diving into 1001 nights dream. The dishes are made by excellent ingredients, the Egyptian owner hospitalised with the familiar known nonchalance and even if there is a chair missing at the table - he will solve the problem. Good place, everytime I will get homesick to Egypt, this is my place to eat. Shokran awii!!

The place is amazing, the food is extraordinarily tasty and beautiful... The personnel and the owner are very friendly and welcoming. We were speaking as if he knew me for ages. Located in the centre of Wiedikon, it is something you should not miss. Prices are normal, but the taste is way beyond money worth. First you start with salad buffet and then comes the main course. Highly recommend! Please do not forget the Egyptian coffee and the sweets ...

Absolutely exquisite Egyptian cuisine with a friendly ambience and staff. The Molokhia Tagine with braised beef is my favorite apart from their well rounded fare of warm or cold Mezzes !

Since the day I came to Switzerland, I have never eaten such delicious Arabic food 😍👌 The staff at the place are very respectful and have a sweet spirit Of course, it is best to call and make a reservation, because the day we came, it was crowded and there was no room, but the employee let us wait until he fixed a table for us. May God give him good health. Of course, they added Egyptian mint tea as per the rules, and they added basbousa from them because the orders were late, even though they alerted us before we sat down and we agreed ✋🥰👌💕 Thank you to the restaurant staff I advise anyone who eats satisfying and delicious Arabic food in the restaurant 👍

Frankly speaking, the restaurant was delicious once, and according to what the Egyptian employee said, it is halal. We tried grilled meat, molokhiya, moussaka, and shawarma plates, all of them were delicious. The hummus is bad.

The lunch buffet is small and we were surprised at first but in reality there is more than enough. The food tasted amazing, the best falafael I have had so far. The quality-price is great for the meal. However, a simple bottle of still water costs over 10CHF, that is overexpensive. The place is cozy and quite, the decoration is lovely. The waiter is welcoming and sweet. Service was also pretty fast.

We ended up there by chance and were very pleasantly surprised. The homemade lemonade was very tasty and the food was really good too.

Very good food and fast service, unfortunately there is no menu with pork etc. I wish this was the case, especially since we now also offer poultry sausages etc. in our Swiss restaurants. Otherwise everything was top and ftisch
