We were brought back a boiling fondue 1min30 after ordering it. A ton of oil on top of the fondue, not really smooth either. I don't recommend. The staff, however, were super helpful.

We ate well but it took a terribly long time. 1 hour wait for entries is not great. The prices remain expensive...but hey it's Crans.

Honestly, be patient. 25 minutes for a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Average quality for the price otherwise... Following my comment, I received an insult by email from Mr Giovanni Celentano. Hoping that this has nothing to do with your restaurant because otherwise your answer is up to your establishment.

Everything was amazing but the service was the best of it all!

Very good dining experience. Unfortunately one of the servers was absolutely not friendly, which, from the start, brought bad energy to the general atmosphere. I will say that in terms of service, the relationship and service with the customer (us) was really not good or pleasant. I find it a shame that in a restaurant serving Valais cuisine, the fact of speaking French and not Italian seems to be disturbing. I would have gladly gone back to taste other dishes but unfortunately, I will not go back.

Very nice restaurant. Typically Swiss furniture. Delicious Chinese fondue and bread fondue. Attentive and friendly service, especially from the Neapolitan boys. The only fault is the person at reception who says he is the very unpleasant, cold and incompetent manager.

Fantastic Swiss-style restaurant, typical cuisine, excellent appetizers, wide choice of fondues. I wanted to thank Giovanni and Francesco, really kind, nice and available to welcome us and satisfy us in everything but above all prepared, thank you very much for the choice of wine, it was Super.

All exceptionally good! Very good meat and extraordinary rare cooking. Raclette and fondue top marks. Alberto, the restaurant manager, is a true professional.

In the center of Crans, the chalet is a nice place run by Italians although the raclette service at the table is a little chaotic and slow. Good quality, typical local design with wood and red cushions, benches and open kitchen. It was a bit cold and it was impossible to raise the temperature or change tables. A little bird had lunch with us and was taking refuge above a chandelier. It's a shame for a customer who wanted to let it out, but I really appreciated the staff who accepted it and kept it inside. There was a Neapolitan waiter who was particularly attentive to our needs and whom I thank. I hope that Naples in the oven can become easier as a city for work and quality of life. Because today many young people are leaving it for foreign destinations. I recommend this place maybe not on weekends.

If you want a fondue, this is the place to go in Crans. The location is really cozy and it is super cool especially during Christmas period. We tested the fondue with truffle and it was super! We recommend the Montana drink - really interesting option. Service has been fast and attentive. Prices are really high but it is Switzerland…

Well done, very good and very good

We had reserved a table for 5 people over the phone at 9 p.m., the person in charge of answering had already suggested to us that it was: “late, and that we should definitely not arrive later”. As soon as we arrived, we had barely two minutes to choose what we wanted to eat and the maître d' made us feel his unfriendliness. We then asked for advice on the choice of wine because we wanted to taste a Cornalin, the waiter replied, I quote: “In any case, they are all bad”. For a traditional restaurant in the region, promoting the terroir is obviously not their priority! We then order an Italian wine on our own opinion and without advice. This one arrives hot… The dishes finally arrive, and the tartars are much too spicy. The meat that comes with Chinese fondues arrives frozen on the table! And we unanimously find that it, to our greatest dismay, is not good and of poor quality. The fries served with it are tasteless and probably cooked in very used oil. We obviously shared our experience with the maître d’ at the end of the meal. No compassion and obviously no commercial gesture. There will be no next time. I advise against !

Really great and really good value for money.

For those who use eBook, do not come here because although the restaurant is registered and they confirmed it during our reservation as well as when we arrived, the chef, when paying the addiction, explained to us that they have never made this type of agreement. So it didn’t seem weird to them that we were talking about eBooks during the entire booking process. However, it could be a simple misunderstanding. Otherwise, the restaurant is friendly with a very good atmosphere. Theme music, typical chalet decor. We believe in it and it’s warm. The chairs are comfortable. The table may have been a little small but it was enough. The welcome from the staff was quite good. They were always smiling and available at any time. The service is fast. The food is of unique quality. Take advantage of tasting the hunt while it’s still in season because it was delicious! Everything was very good, but I have to admit that this eBook episode left us wanting more. I hope that the next customers will be notified in advance.

Very disappointed with the management! I booked with a card like the gourmet passport. I called and booked with this card which gives a 20% discount on only the meal, excluding drinks. At the time of booking they accepted but when paying they refused to give the discount of only 40chf on a fairly expensive bill. I won't go back there again. They pretend and then they make you pay full. Very disappointed.

Super good, great chalet atmosphere.

It's better than 3.9 so I gave it 5 stars even if my rating would be more like 4.5. We were a group of 6, we ate a fondue which was good and we were well served. With a friendly atmosphere.

The place is pretty but that's it. The staff is generally friendly but there were 2 waiters who seemed drunk. Concerning the meal, for drinks we had ordered syrups which we had to order 4 times and arrived hot. The plates, we ordered 2 cheese crusts, one plain without bread, and the other complete which was not very good. We don't even talk about the quality-price relationship, prices too expensive compared to the quality. I'm sure there must be other better places to taste Swiss cuisine.

Thank you Ismael for the great hospitality and life of the party. we enjoyed a great mixture of wine, gin, prosecco, cheese fondue and a lot of bread. Most recommended fondue in Crans-Monstana!

The wait staff was more busy with the tables ordering expensive food. We were only taken into consideration when pressed. The fries had to be ordered three times. But the food was good, the price was ok.

We had a lovely meal here with friends while visiting our family home in Switzerland unfortunately I left behind my cashmere scarf to which I contacted the restaurant and they confirmed they had it and would hold for my cousin who was arriving this week to collect. She arrived to collect it today to be told it was simply ‘gone’ with zero explanation as to how it had now vanished after staff keeping it aside for collection. Disgusting behaviour from a ‘family’ restaurant and as a regular visitor to Crans I will be following up on this.

Unfortunately had a problem in serving the starters (around 1 hour), followed directly by the dishes without having time to grill one (and just having time to finish the starters), especially since the dishes had probably vegetated under the infrared lamp. Nice commercial gesture from the manager afterwards whom I thank. Too bad the waiter blamed his colleagues, explaining that nothing was his fault. Not really a good experience.

Very hectic in this restaurant. It's very touristy and you're just dismissed!! Not even finished with the starter, the fondue is served. Unfortunately this wasn't really hot! I wouldn't go to le Chalet again!

Restaurant located in Crans and where the fondue is good. It is difficult today to eat a decent fondue even in Valais and at the Chalet, it is worth the detour. A warm welcome and decent service complement the above. A word about the setting and the decoration which are tasteful and very typical. However, be careful of overloading.... in winter!!

To flee!! Restaurant specializing in raclette!! We reserve 23/10 expressly for this. We sit down at the table and the waiter informs us that he does not want to prepare raclette over a wood fire during lunch service. With a lot of nonchalance and mockery. I do not recommend this tourist trap in Crans Montana

Raclette was not served well although they seemed to use wood fire to melt the cheese.

Hopplös service too many people too few servants

Did not honor our reservation. So I was kindly asked to wait… we did so for 1.5 hours and we were then asked how many we were, and that there was no table for the night.. unbelievable

I wouldn't know where to start...... the setting is magnificent.... The nice place....... but the service.... it would be necessary to make a hidden camera..... c is quite amusing but catastrophic....... I have rarely seen that..... between the beyond-resonable slowness..... the cleaning lady who passes between the tables with her bucket of used water...... a fork as a spoon for ice cream..... the list is a book..... but it was so unusual..... that we were at the show thank you very much for this included comedy evening

We asked for the daily special, the waiter having explained that it was a “sea bass with rice and steamed vegetables” then we were served spaghetti with tomato sauce and a breaded piece of chicken. “sorry” the daily special had changed. No explanation, no forewarning. Also, it was evidently a frozen piece just dropped in oil to reheat it. To top it all, the personnel was having a screaming match with one another… better avoid going!!

We were greeted by a waitress who was chewing noticeably. We ordered Fondue Bourguignon.. we asked if it was served with beef fillet, the waiter said yes.. The food came, but it was anything but beef fillet.. When we complained, the waiter said it was beef fillet.. We didn't want to eat it anymore, so the waiter changed the meat and became very unfriendly. Unfortunately, he also didn't serve us beef fillet twice. So we left everything. We had to pay the bill in full.

We ordered Fondue Bourguignon and asked if it served filet of beef, they said yes. Then they served us the bourguignon and for sure it was not filet. One waiter was very unfriendly.

A very good Italianosuisse restaurant in Crans sur Sierre. Very pleasant decor, typical of a mountain chalet. The food is very good, typical Vallais dishes, the welcome is friendly and the service fast. The prices are classic for a very “chic” resort! I try to go there every time I pass and always happy with the place!!

5 of us came here for lunch after seeing a sign saying 2 course meal of the day inc coffee 20chf. We all had a local beer with the meal. We sat outside which was great as weather 21c. It was a salad starter followed by curry chicken with basmati rice and then an expresso. The food was a good portion size and really tasty. Service was also great and for Crans super reasonable for 2 course meal and coffee only 20 chf… Will be coming here again…

Furnished in a traditional way, the châlet truly has the air of a Swiss chalet. The guy in the room (he seems like Massimo to me) was very kind and attentive to our needs. The food was good, I really appreciated it.

Good quality food (excellent pierrade fondue and filet) however there is a staffing problem. The service was rather slow and the waiter had absolutely no knowledge of the menu.

Compared to two years ago we were very disappointed because the fondue was missed... despite returning to the kitchen it didn't change much. The service was however friendly but will not be enough to make us come back.

Disappointment for this place where I had so many good memories. We ordered a pierrade and a fillet of beef with pepper sauce. The sauce was not thick and without any taste, the meat almost cold (we saw our dishes waiting nearby while we finished the starter). The fries are frozen and far from cooked, therefore soft (and very warm). The wine isn't good either... Very nice waitresses but very average service with, among other things, a waitress who did not speak French. An addition of almost 200.- for a meal that really wasn't worth that much... it's a shame

My favourite restaurant in Crans, i always make sure to stop for dinner when in town. Very cozy location and the service is always impeccable. Highly recommended for a typical swiss dinner with raclette and fondue.

Nice setting, real chalet feeling. As for the dinning experience it was not enjoyable in any way. The waiter had no interest in being there and we could feel that, we were waiting for some time to get drinks, when we ordered they mixed up our drinks and food , two tables that came after us got their food before us. We got our fondue 50 mins after ordering , when it arrived it was the wrong fondue (6 person fondue) when we ordered only for 2 people.The fondue was ok nothing spectacular, throughout our evening you can see the tension between the waiters, they are constantly giving out to each other and mixing up orders for other tables not just ours. Would highly not recommend this place for anything, just make sure when you see Les Chalet the cozy little Chalet keep walking. I never leave reviews, but I felt I had to. This place could be a great experience if staff were trained a little better.
