We ate at Gobelet d'Argent as a group of 12 people on the evening of the Course de l'Escalade, Saturday December 3. Note that they managed a real Tetris to find space for us! Thank you for their flexibility Meal-wise, atmosphere, World Cup match night, it was great and the meal was very, very good, the number of people in no way lowered the speed and quality of the meal, Bravo to them and thank you, we will be back . Super friendly and very professional welcome! nothing has changed, it's still perfect.. BRAVO! it truly becomes our favorite restaurant in Geneva!

I give this place 5 stars first of all because the menu is simple, so it made it so easy to make a quick choice. I had their signature burger and it was very good, fresh ingredients and the meat excellent quality and perfectly cooked. But the service is major reason why i give this place 5

A very good fondue! The service and atmosphere was excellent!

Was looking for fondue on a rainy day and decided to try Le Gobelet d’Argent. I suggest to book a table in advance, as the restaurant was fully booked when we arrived. We got a table right next to the window and it was a bit cold every time the door opened and closed and cold air coming from the window. The fondue was great, we had 200g cheese option but also 300g wouldn’t be an issue to finish. Meringue for desert was ok, but tasted slightly different than usual. Overall good service and good food.

Great place, the dishes are delicious and plentiful. Already tested the beef steak on slate, the burgers, and the super champagne fondue 🫕. The daily specials vary a lot and are very copious and worth the detour. For dessert, the best is still the red fruit coulis cheesecake, one of the best in the area, and perhaps in the city. An address not to be missed if you are in the surrounding area. Also worth trying, the Mexican burger

Excellent establishment even for a grumpy French person (which should be noted). The welcome given to us by the boss, Nathalie and Cloe was very warm. The Swiss fondue, beef, hamburgers, fries and salads are very fresh, tender and tasty. I'm not even talking about desserts... Excellent value for money. An establishment that we recommend and where we will return during our next visits to Geneva

2 burgers, infamous!! Worst burger of my life....1 very average steak and bread!! I've never seen that...it's fries or salad for 19 chf, crap. This message is to respond to the owner on my comment; yes this burger was more than average, without toppings for the steak, requested rare and received well done.... a little mayo and burger bread....not tasty at all, rather dry.... , and at 2:00 a.m. I had to take a stomach pill with hints of undigested steak... we came Saturday evening around 7:30 p.m. on the small terrace. Sorry but I'm giving a rating based on my assessment (20 years as a chef...)

Delightful experience all around. Our first fondue, and Chloe was precious, thought us all about Swiss wine and fondue. Highly recommend it!

We have come to eat here several times, always fondue but we never get tired of it. We tasted in several restaurants, this remains the best fondue we tasted in town. The impeccable service and the staff always attentive. We love!

We had the pleasure of being served by Natalie, thank you for this good mood and these succulent dishes. Despite having a full terrace, Natalie knew how to make us wait and quickly seated us. In the heart of the Eaux-Vives district, the Gobelet d’argent café restaurant is a must. Tumbler fondue, champagne fondue, cheese crust, burger, slate steak... everything is a treat. Not forgetting the homemade cheesecake, the best in town. The staff is attentive and always with a smile.

We went with some colleagues visiting from the US to make them having fondue. It was delicious!!!! And what can I say about the homemade dessert: fabulous pear-chocolate!!!! And the service was so welcoming, nice and warm!!!! Love this place!

Bonnard corner for a drink or something to eat. The only downside is the noise which becomes a little too loud when it is full. Perfect at the start of the evening for a romantic meal, then more suitable for an aperitif with friends.

Came here a few weeks back with a merry band of my army lads for an afternoon fondue and it was simply impeccable! For a large table of approximately 15/16 or so , the service didn't miss a beat and everyone ok staff were very attentive and kind to all the diners needs amd wants. Fondue served was a classic and well prepared. Standard portions that are well worth the price. Definitely looking forward to returning for other menu options!

I am so glad I found this place. It was hard for me to find a place that serves cheese fondue for one person. Usually minimum of 2 people. Food was delicious and staff were incredibly nice and friendly. For my French practice, I spoke as much as French I can and they were kind enough to understand me but at the end, they talk to me in English. Lol. My colleague got steak and he said he really liked it.

Tourist or local, if you are looking for delicious Swiss foods, this is the place! The fondue was incredible and the prices reasonable. Both the owners and the wait staff spent time with us and was very helpful. We will definitely be back.

Good fondue but too bad the bread was very fluffy and similar to sandwich bread. It would have been better with bread a little harder like banquette.

Great welcome, top cuisine and more than reasonable prices for Geneva. The simmental, a discovery which delighted the taste buds of the whole family even the most "delicate" palate, finished its entire piece (despite "a little too much coarse salt" 😉). Looking forward to it! - The Dijon family.
