rude owner who refuses to serve tousrist and enjoys embarrassing and disrespecting them publicly 🛑 29 March 2pm 🕑 I went back with my husband for the 2nd time since we enjoyed the food 2 days ago “Yes!” With a very rude tone (said the manager/owner who was seated having lunch at a table with other people) “Is it possible to have a table for 2 please” - table for what exactly? For sleeping for eating? - for lunch please - kitchen is closed now only pizza is available (Other tables were having lunch normally) My husband wasn’t excited about pizza so he left Then the gentleman was making fan and somehow found it to be funny with the rest of his friends I speak french and I found it extremely rude and unnecessarily embarrassing You are free to refuse to serve us MR but embarrassing a tourist and making fun of him in a language he doesn’t understand was unasked for and very mean and disrespectful. Never to visit again 🛑

Le Milan is one of the must-see restaurants in Lausanne with unbeatable value for money. Everything is always perfect there (good except the fries) but from the starter to the desserts everything is homemade and delicious! Well done

I would categorize it as a "good canteen", a no-fuss atmosphere, copious and good dishes. Good value for money and suitable for children.

We love this place, we are in Italy (yes I said that sentence). In reality the place is very simple in its welcome and its cuisine but you feel good there, you eat well there and you want to go back. A place for regulars to visit.

One of the most beautiful discoveries of the region, a generosity never seen on a plate, we will come back for sure!

Ah, Milan... An institution, and for good reason. The quintessence of the neighborhood pizzeria, without the fuss. Friendly and fast service, delicious and ultra-fresh mixed salad, crispy bread, tasty pizzas.

The disappointing food I was on February 14 with my. Tourist friends, my friend and I ordered meat lasagne that costs 23.50 and it was horrible in an Italian restaurant that a lasagna does not have meat filling or sauce is a shame, we complained and they took it away. Plate they returned with the same plate but with the. Sauce on top very unpleasant for being Swiss and a very disappointed Italian restaurant I do not recommend it.

A party of two, we were seated upstairs with no wait at about 19 hrs on a Thursday evening. Atmosphere was energetic. Food was very good and filling. exciting menu choices and good desserts. We will definitely return for another meal. Merci

On the way to a Lausanne museum we stopped at Milan. We were well received and quickly seated. The pasta, lasagna and pizzas were served in one go by the waiters, who were also very pleasant with the children. We really enjoyed our different dishes, well done.

Walking down the street looking for dinner options, we spotted this very inviting, cozy restaurant. The hostess accommodated us even though we didn't have a reservation. The pasta was hot and delicious. Pizza was especially good. The complimentary bread was well appreciated. The accompanying chilli oil elevated the pizza and the pasta to the next level. Good food, fast service. Must try if you like Italian food.

Found this restaurant on the internet. Photos of the small salad escargot we split and of our remaining pizza we also split. We don't speak or read French, so google translate and restaurant worker helped us. Food was good, I wood eat there again.

The place has a bistro atmosphere from the old days. It's not really my style. The servers were friendly but nothing more. The dish eaten was good but not a marvel of taste. A little disappointed with the quality of presentation on the plate.

Basic Italian as there are so many in Lausanne. Neither good nor bad! I had boletus pici and truffles, as the specialty of the day. There were a few small pieces of spongy boletus but I'm still looking for the truffles. All drowned in an unclassifiable brown sauce. In short, move on, there are better things in Lausanne.

The dishes are good and the prices are quite reasonable. Seafood rissoto for 29.-, pretty decent for the place. Not sure it was fresh. But the dish was good. The decor upstairs is a little dated.
