Too bad, no vegan options available, might as well remove them from the menu :(

It was excellent, there are plenty of choices, classic burger, vegetarian, and with black bread, cornbread. They are very original in their Burger choices. With fresh fries seasoned with extra herbs. I highly recommend going to try it.

I used to be a regular at Zooburger for years, but a few months back it changed, and I had a bad experience with undercooked meat. I went back a few days ago, and ordered the cheddar burger with no garlic due to intolerance. As offered on the menu, I asked for it to be well done, but was then served a rare burger with garlic (aioli) on the plate. I told the waitress who took it back. Second time around, I cut it in half to check and it was still very pink. I notified the waitress again, who (clearly annoyed) took it back. Third time around they serve me HALF a meat paddy (keep in mind I had still not eaten any of it), and this time my cheddar burger, came back with no cheddar… We communicated in English the whole time, until I asked for the check. I was offered 10% off for the inconvenience, but they threw away 50% of my burger. At this point she clearly still understood me, but directed her answers to my boyfriend in French. Disrespectful! Ended up having to pay 15 CHF for the tiny salad and the fries.

Much too expensive for what it is. You need to calm down about the price. I thought I was going to buy the business

I agree with the previous opinion. I notice a clear drop in the quality of the food. Burger not good at all... Soft and even pasty vegan patty, tasteless, a strange tasting breading on the bread, burnt on the bottom slice... Two raw onion rings. Fries too salty. Sorry but 20 FRCS for animal food is not correct. Is it no longer the same team in the kitchen? I won't come back again.

An original, delicious and homemade burger, walnut bun included. The setting is charming as is the team. Warm welcome, attentive service, I recommend without moderation.

Loyal Zooburger customers for many years, we have noticed a drop in the quality (and quantity) of the dishes in recent months. The quantity of fries is no longer sufficient, and the burger is too soft and moist. When ordering from Ubereats, we realize part of the problem is delivery, but that doesn't explain the tiny portion and poor quality of the burger. In the past, when the packaging was different, the quality of the burger and fries was maintained. Hoping that this problem can be rectified, because we remain convinced that the Zoo's recipes are the best of all burgers in Lausanne!

I got scammed. I ordered a Nuggets Burger. There was no chicken, only a vegetarian rösti. Don't put Nuggets on a burger. For everyone that means chicken nuggets...

Delicious burgers made from local products. The fries and the homemade aioli sauce are a real plus! Friendly staff and quiet setting to spend a good time with loved ones

Disappointed... I hadn't been back for several years but had good memories of it. I was disappointed. Friendly service but a little limp and not accommodating (not possible to choose another sauce in the burger), soft bread, and toppings too heavy for my taste and all a little cold. There is originality and ideas but the result is not very conclusive.

Regulars of the place, we are always very happy with our meals. However, the only downside is that the "side salads" tend to decrease in quantity while the price doesn't change, it's becoming a bit limited. A few extra salad leaves shouldn't ruin the establishment :-)

Don't order from them. I ordered 2 chicken burger menus and 2 beef menus. The 2 chicken menus have been replaced by vegetarian menus. For the beef I had a normal Burger and an uncooked one! A huge disappointment for me who was expecting a promise of quality when ordering here.

I came Friday evening, ordered 1 morel burger menu + 1 morel burger. 50 min wait (terrace 3 tables occupied). Warm burgers, soft fries with no taste of thyme. 1 huge whole morel = indigestible. Why not slice the morel? No one asks me about cooking the meat either. I am charged 1 chf more without explanation. I asked for foil to wrap the burgers to keep them warm. Answer: “we don’t have one, we don’t need one” with a haughty and disdainful air. I am asked for my name to enter on the order. So Matthew, and I spell it “2 T H”. Name on order: Matt-H-E-I-E-U. Well then. And above all, they speak to me informally. Did we raise the pigs together? I do not believe. Brief. I worked a good part of my professional experience in palaces, Michelin restaurants, gastronomy, and what came out of this experience was only negative. We criticize Mac DO and others, but frankly at the time, I would have eaten better at their place. 50 min wait, + than in a gastro, with 3 people on duty aged 18-25 who don't even know how to change a beer keg and scratch their parts on the bar. Pitiful. And just because it's been around for 10 years doesn't make it a good restaurant (Trump was elected by a majority, and that doesn't make him a good president). And don't ask me to write to your email. I said everything here. If you don't understand everything, I can't do anything for you. Improve your restaurant or not, I don't care, I won't come back to compare and see the difference.

Delicious burgers (and very nutritious...), the fries were very hot, everything seems very fresh! The student menu has excellent value for money. The terrace is also very pleasant.

Order placed via Ubereats. After 1h20 of waiting while the applicable one mentioned 25-40 minutes of waiting, I took the liberty of calling twice to check the status of my order. The person on the phone finally told me that if I wasn't happy, that I could post a review on Google. Here it is.

Pleasant meal at Zooburger. Please note, take-out orders on their website do not work, you have to call them to order. Otherwise substantial burger and excellent fries. I recommend despite the mishap of ordering online but I was well received 😉 go ahead with your eyes closed!

Burger at the top... We took the succulent burger of the moment and you can also compose them yourself with different choices of bread, cheese etc... and to top it all off several craft beers on tap.

Ordered a « je me chauffe » burger which is supposed to be spicy and it wasn’t spicy at all. The seasoning of the meat could’ve been better, it lacked salt and pepper and tasted very gamy. The Gruyère cheese was really bad in the burger, the combination of flavors wasn’t good at all. We waited a lot for our order. The only good thing about the whole order was the fries (kept the skin BUT didn’t cooked them in beef grease, a shame).

Best Burgers in Lausanne! We had the Burger of the moment, the "Green Bear" with beef, wild garlic sauce and Tomme Vaudoise malakoff, a pure delight!!! In addition, the fries were delicious and homemade as well as a very good little salad on the side. Be careful, the plates are particularly well served! It's really hearty. For dessert, the lemon cheesecake and raspberry coulis was a marvel. I was accompanied by 2 people with disabilities and we were made to feel wonderful! Thanks again!!

Visit on a Tuesday evening, table reserved to be sure to be able to sit down without waiting. We tasted the burgers of the moment “Le Truffaut” and Le “Mr Morels” we were delighted because we had already tasted 1x on the terrace in summer and 1x by delivery. The burgers arrived lukewarm and the fries too. We warned the waitress who told us that she was going to see if they could be reheated for a while but given how busy the restaurant was, we had to remove all the salad and the rest of the ingredients so we ate it like that. and it was really average. We waited quite a while and the deliveries were favored in my opinion. In short = disappointment this time. In addition, the waiter didn't seem very clear about the draft beers and didn't know how to advise us.

I just ordered “cheese burger du zoo” from this place. I don’t want to scold this place since I have only tried one burger. However the one tried was the single worst burger I have ever tasted in my entire life. The bun was all mushy and soft, the meat was absolutely not seasoned and juiceless, the combination of gruyere and mustard in a burger was a terrible idea. Also the choice of the default garlic sauce next to the fries was in one word not formidable. If you want good burgers in the area, go to Bang Bang in Renens or Inglewood in Lausanne.

As our Vaudois friends would say, “Disappointed in a good way!” Pleasant place, "trendy", friendly and at the same time unpretentious. Very friendly and very smiling staff despite the midday gunfire. The most surprising part is in fact the hamburgers, connoted "fast food" which once again become "slow food" as the flavors are surprising. To try and enjoy without moderation...

The value for money is not there. The fries were tasteless, and in terms of the burger toppings, it was laughable. 45 min wait while it's half empty, plus the burger was served barely lukewarm. It was the last time.

The burgers are generous, original recipes, friendly staff but… Organization that can be largely optimized, the takeaway burgers are placed on the kitchen counter, meanwhile the waitresses are busy in all directions without prioritizing hot dishes => the burger is cold (experience made several times). For fries you will have 50/50, half fries, half fries crumbs. It’s a shame, the organization of this understaffed team needs to be reviewed

Poor service, with an error on the order on their part. I was understanding, instead of fixing the mistake immediately, they put other customers first and I had to wait 25 minutes. Error in order; then they insist on making me pay for it. My friend ordered the Georges. I ordered the BBB: Beef Bacon Burger(?) with salad and homemade cold tea. I bite into my burger and then realize that there is no beef (or bacon actually), but a vegetarian patty instead. I will report this immediately to the person who took my order. After checking, it was an error when ordering. I am suggested to continue with this one, if not to change it. I prefer the change and I indicate that, if it is more practical for the kitchen I will simply replace the veggie patty with beef. Apparently, it is better to recommend, and at this point I am told that there will be a wait. Between 25 and 30 minutes later I received the BBB. At the time of the bill, they want to charge me for all the burgers and the person in charge insists that it is the policy of the house to charge for the burgers started, but that a gesture of 20% on the beef burger should me suit. I replied that I didn't expect to have to pay for the wrong veggie burger. They tell me it's house policy, but maybe they can offer me a coffee, or a dessert? Answer: listen, it's bothering me, I'm not charging you for the beef burger. Perhaps they had assumed that I was (also) vegetarian and failed to check our table's mixed veg/non-veg order? Maybe they have two burgers with the same name? Maybe I shouldn't have been so trusting when receiving my burger? Maybe it was a punishment because I shouldn't have discreetly dropped the hair found in my glass of cold homemade tea on the ground?

We went for takeaway. Burgers are absolutely delicious. Fries were home made. The bonus for us: garlic sauce to dip the fries. I recommend this place.

One of the best burger restaurants in town – and there are plenty of them. Personally not a big fan of their original attempts (tried the ink bread dry once with a special patty… expensive and not great), but the classics are excellent even if they are not cheap!

Delicious burgers there is no doubt, beer a bit expensive but above all a blind trust in their customers: the credit card machine did not work the staff asked us to withdraw cash in the neighborhood, we could have left without paying but I will not live with this conscientious burden

Absolutely excellent burger. Choice of local or homemade drinks. Friendly service. Only downside: victims of their success, take-out orders are legion and as a result on-site customers pay the price with waiting times between the moment of placing the order and the moment when we can start eating which are completely disproportionate. Given the low capacity of the restaurant, it would seem more correct to me to intersperse the on-site orders between the takeaway orders... The impact on the waiting time would be less without the takeaway orders being too affected.

The welcome is great. Smiling and friendly waitresses. The burgers are good but unfortunately cold or the cheese is not even melted. The fries are more crumbs than fries. The waiting time is 45 minutes minimum, which is long for a restaurant that doesn't necessarily have many tables. And the answer is always the same!! “We only have 2 cooks in the kitchen and a lack of staff.” But nothing changes. Too bad because Zoo Burger has great potential.

Burger of very good quality, tasty, the ingredients are all excellent, the meat is Swiss (actually quite a rare thing!), the bread is digestible and light (cornflake bread), the fries are prepared with aromatic herbs and an aioli sauce homemade mayo! but very good. My companion had the M.Truffaut burger, and unfortunately there were no more mushrooms and the truffle in the melted cheese did not reveal its flavor, and the waiter was kind enough to bring him a piece of this cheese to enhance your burger. My raclette burger was impeccable! We also had the lemon cheesecake which is simply excellent, also made by them. An address that I highly recommend, with record prices for quality and a 15% student discount on the interesting menu. The place is pretty but noisy and we were on rue Marterey.

Good burgers with local products, it's a change from M... and it's very good. On the other hand, VERY noisy, I was able to follow the conversation from the next table throughout the meal. Reservations strongly recommended given the small size of the establishment. As for parking spaces, a bit of a hassle, I decided to use the underground parking at the shopping center.
