The brunch at the hotel was simply sumptuous! An exquisite dining experience with a variety of delicious dishes. The server David was attentive, attentive and professional throughout the meal. An experience to highly recommend for a gourmet and memorable moment!

The galette des rois with frangipane gives off a strong taste of lemon and no almond at all disastrous assembly. But is this intended to mask poor quality almond powder? Too bad because technically speaking it is very successful

Very very good little chocolates to put in the advent calendar, a killer pick-up, the boss is smiling and very nice, I love it

The setting: 1 table with 2 people, 1 with 3 and another with 6 that the boss is serving. I sit next to this one. Behind the counter, 2 employees. After 1/4 hour of waiting I get up and leave. The staff and the boss were in the next room. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me and the last. I don't set foot there anymore. Not far away there are the arcades and the break where you will not have the impression of being invisible and where the welcome is warm. In summary: help, let's run away.

The place is cozy and well decorated. On the other hand, very disappointed with this pastry that we were recommended at the Charmey baths. We arrived at 3 p.m. and there were 1/4 of things available in the window, and it closed at 6 p.m. Shame. We wanted to eat there but no one came to the table so we had to order at the counter. We took a very disappointing Denmark cup (and 2 cold teas (Pina Colada and Ginger citrus) which had very little taste compared to the promised descriptions... all for the modest sum of 24.50CHF... This pastry shop does not at all have the standard of the 4**** Hotel Cailler. I think you have better time to go to the hotel itself. Maybe it will be better.

Frankly, I could do better... low-end pastries... apple pie 🍎 which frankly isn't great in taste... it's a basic so please change the recipe... and for the pistachio one.. . there is pistachio and pistachio... so once again at the sale price... put real pistachio and not with chlorophyll... with bitter almond..!!!

We spent the night in the area and had breakfast at Le Pâtissier. The setting is really very warm and decorated with care. The products offered at breakfast were of good quality. There was enough choice. A little disappointed by the welcome, we waited a relatively long time to be found a table. We arrived at the end of service, the tables were not all cleared. Maybe one person was missing to be able to follow. The different pastries in the window looked appetizing and worth a look!

With a view to drinking a coffee on the terrace I was disappointed with the welcome (if we can note the non-welcome) and the waitress as friendly as a prison door. Too bad when we expect a certain "standing". Nothing very special about the place, non-existent welcome while 3 waitresses wait behind the counter without doing anything, several tables not cleared with leftover food... In short, personally I do not recommend

Charming place, pastries, chocolates, creations. We want to taste everything and take it away. Really good service, despite us being a group of 26 people. We had reservations, of course, but we were expected, and everything went well. Thank you for the welcoming.

Disappointing brunch, too expensive for what it is

We've been there for 45 minutes and the waiters have passed by our table eight times saying "we're coming" but even moving to the counter, they don't have time even though the room is half empty. It becomes comical

The 2 daily menus were good. This restaurant is part of the Cailler hotel. At the cafe, you have coffee creamer, sugar and squares of dark chocolate. There are some goods for sale which are typical of the canton of Fribourg. The waitresses are young. The room is nice. The only flaw is that you shouldn't ask for the sum divided by the number of people, because the waitresses can't do it.

I think if you want to use the phrase 'good value for money', it's certainly applied correctly here in this cafe. Solid, fast and really good value cuisine. Despite the price, it's not just convient food, but fresh food prepared by hand, finely seasoned and beautifully draped. Good friendly and quick service, bright furnishings and lots of space make for a cosy atmosphere. The only thing, excuse me for saying so, is that the live elevator music seems a little out of date. But it seems the others liked it ...

Very pretty, very good, but complicated service... various servers who struggled to understand our requests/orders (not complicated though) and a big error (rectified) in the final bill...

Disappointed by the welcome, both in the service and with the desserts on a Saturday at 2 p.m..... 3 unfortunate pastries, deplorable service with a person who laments having thrown away 1lt of expired cream.....the Charmey dairy is 2 steps away. Damn the place is worthy of Cailler. I will not recommend.

We came to take a break from our day here. The house cold pina colada tea was good although without sugar. The place is pretty. We weren't hungry enough to taste a pastry but what a pretty display, it almost made us hungry! A slightly negative point... My grandmother who kindly asks where we can eat in the evening (Monday) and the waitress who perhaps seeing my young age takes the liberty of answering " WHAT DALLE M'DAME, THE MONDAY NIGHT IT'S DEAD AROUND HERE".... Ok to be comfortable with customers but be careful not to cross the line... But hey, we forgive and allow ourselves to give 4 stars :) and she made up for it later by discussing in a more appropriate way.

Absolutely lovely welcome from the whole team, very attentive and considerate. Lunch meal very good, varied and well served. And what about the succulent desserts 😋 not to be missed, of great finesse. An address that we have known for several years (at the time when they were next to the coop) and that we never fail to find each time we visit. Never disappointed! Keep it up, a stopover at your place is always a pleasure 😊!

This is the third time I've been there, I admit I imagined having a service worthy of the reputation. But what a disappointment... the employees hide behind the coffee machine, you almost have to beg to be served. And when we are finally served, the glasses are placed on the table, it is up to the customer to do the service, if a group exceeds 6 people, the waitresses ask the customers to make a list of drinks. Excellent pastries, but if you're looking for good service, don't go there...

For completely honest prices, you will taste high quality dishes and products, prepared with care and professionalism. The pastry, Cailler obliges, is particularly fine. The owner of the establishment is execrable!!!! Dishonest, speaks badly to his staff as well as to the customer. She opens the door WIDELY which communicates with the terrace because Mrs. is hot (go see if you have vapors)... there are big drafts which are particularly unpleasant when eating... I got up to shut up and I got yelled at!!! To top it off... she tells me to wear a jacket to eat. A member of staff apologized flatly for the boss's behavior and that "it's been like this since this morning, we can't take it anymore." It's a shame. Not like this establishment which nevertheless has potential.

The person who acts as "manager" is really limited in his communication with customers. I have never been welcomed in Switzerland in an establishment in such a derogatory and disrespectful manner!!. Too bad for the image of Cailler products which I appreciate!

The premises are magnificent, the pastry products superb, the bakery is not great, but above all the service is borderline tolerable. Twice in 4 months having to wait 10 minutes before being served. The manager is friendly but not at all professional and she should concentrate on serving customers rather than chatting constantly
