Beautiful view, friendly welcome, decent dishes for the place. The price of drinks is a bit steep, and attendance can be hellish on busy days at the resort, but hey, it's a bit predictable. Timetables linked to the cable car.

A bit spartan even as ski slope restaurants

Great experience, we had a wonderful time with family around an excellent meal, the staff was kind, pleasant and responsive. The children loved it! between outdoor facilities such as sandboxes...or board games and construction inside. The restaurant has thought of everything to make the children's experience as pleasant as that of adults. Pleasure !

Such kind and helpful staff We had a great time with friends. The food was excellent. The restaurant was quiet, no hubbub, it was so pleasant. Being able to chat without yelling and not having a migraine I recommend 100%

Had a wonderful time, enjoying a deliciously tasty fondue 100% vacherin sipping a good wine! Servicing was perfect, checking on us so we wouldn't run out of anything. Deserts, the apricot tarte was good. I personally didn't like the "crème brulée" which had a very strong taste of a kind of honey. However, this won't stop me from coming back! It was cold that day (4th August 2023), only 13 degrees Celsius and we were sitting by the fireplace. So cosy ! thank you !

2 p.m. no more hot cooking except chicken fritts... Valais plates with raw ham showing mold as well as stale bread... in short, a real shame given the appeal of the place.

We arrived at 3 p.m. from Via to eat something. For politely asking if there was any soup left, the cook told us “fries, nuggets, or fondue” x3 times. Then, I was looking at the salads and the meat plates well wrapped in cellophane when I heard the owner mutter “How many plates is that one going to touch?” Following this comment we decided to eat elsewhere. I am in no way judging the food but the reception is non-existent and cold.

It's a mountain restaurant in Charmey. Very beautiful view Good food friendly and very helpful staff. (Toilet spacious and clean). In general, the toilets in mountain restaurants are not very clean.

Self. Very noisy place, the röstis well presented but even if they are made with raw potatoes, they must be cooked and hot. That wasn't the case, too bad.

Very friendly staff and fairly good food, however too long a wait and exorbitant prices (a 450ml coke for 5 francs!)

Evening: It is quite normal that self-service ski resorts are not exactly bursting with cosiness and ambience, but what the team conjures up here in the evening after the day's rush is simply extraordinary. With humour and nimbleness, few but wonderfully prepared dishes are served. Faux filet as tender as butter and the hamburger with red heart and surprisingly put together with Cuchaul and Vacherin. The french fries are also delicious and crispy. The wine and beer selection is superb ... especially to mention the terrific Pinot Noir Bio! The prices are correct, I would even say inexpensive.

18/08/2021 our visit in Charmey... Amazing lunch with a view of huge green mountains and an attraction of paragliding... This restaurant is self-service with buffets and absolutely you can order your meal too by the menu... The employees are super kind 😊 Recommended ! Kids friendly 😊

I ordered nuggets with fries and it was more fries with nuggets. Not really tasty either I almost threw up I was very sad and disappointed. The views were great tho but still the food was not worth it

Magnificent view ! Good little desserts

It is a very clean Restaurant. They are very kind people. There are 3 events per week. This is a place to recommend. The place is located at a place with impressive mountain views. There are many paragliders that depart from this place.

Self-service restaurant, simple, pretty terrace, magnificent view. Prices are a little high like in every tourist place.

Its a great place you take the chairlift and you can go back down on foot if you are a good walker and the restaurant is airy its services you can eat a meal or have a drink the toilets are clean

Alpine cuisine, terrace, children's games, breathtaking view.

Nous avons fait la montée à pied depuis le départ de la télécabine (Vatzia). Il faut compter 2h30, montée constante mais une grande partie de la randonnée est dans la forêt. Arrivée à Vounetse, nous avons profité de la soirée tartare. Restaurant plein, réservation à faire à l’avance. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Les tartares sont copieux, frais et goûteux. L’accueil est sympa. Le restaurant côté véranda est toutefois trop bruyant.

Self service. Nice view. Lack of human warmth. Not very practical having to clear everything yourself. Lack of organization in my opinion and especially with Covid. That's my feeling. But there are theme evenings. Not yet tested.

Tasted their Hamburger and my wife their hot goat cheese salad. It was simply excellent, undoubtedly the best Hamburger I have eaten. Top-level cuisine for a place with a magnificent view...

A pretty mountain restaurant. Self-service. The view is beautiful. A nice area for children with a ball course (a little dangerous in some places, watch the little ones) and a playground.

Super nice welcome and very friendly staff! Magnificent mountain restaurant, simple and local dishes. Sunny terrace with beautiful views of the Charmey valley and more. Accessible by cable car, on foot and in winter by snowshoes. There is a rich entertainment program. The little extra is missing to get from the cabin to the restaurant in a wheelchair. But it is doable with help.

Excellent cheese fondue, served with potatoes and bread. Welcoming decoration at the entrance to this self-service mountain restaurant. The snow is of very good quality, even if it needs a little more...

Magnificent mountain restaurant, simple and no-fuss dishes. Perfect for children, especially thanks to the huge play area available. 20m from the arrival of the cable cars, ideal for cooling off after a nice walk in the region. Terrace with breathtaking views not to mention the numerous departure possibilities.
