Good morning, I am changing my post written 4 years ago to give a new opinion on this place which was very good before. Magnificent waterside setting, free beach nearby. Concerning the restaurant, everything has changed which is sometimes good but in this case, not this time. Prices have exploded: food and drinks. You must spend a minimum of 10.- to pay by card. A 50cl beer costs around 9.-, the carafe of water is chargeable because it is “filtered” (please let us know in advance because at 5.- it stings). The dishes are not crazy and expensive. The prices charged are made for tourists and not for locals!! Unbearable and unfriendly boss but the servers do their jobs well. I no longer recommend this establishment but only the place. Looking forward to a place that lives up to what we experienced a few years ago. This opinion is personal and everyone is free to think what they want.

This is such a gem. Perfect to come here on a date night or with the children, and the beach is really nice. We often come by paddle boat and park the boards in the special paddle board parking!

Small ice cream parlor on Promontheaux beach, the ice is of poor quality. They charge you 4 CHF for a melted ice cream. There is no scent and they close early one day in the middle of summer. They really need to improve the ice cream, price and customer service. THANKS

One of the prettiest lakeside terraces in the Nyon region, right next to Promentoux beach. Very nice and relaxed atmosphere. The dishes offered are really good, very nice presentation.

Despite the place and the welcoming and friendly service, I found the "cook" arrogant and ignorant, I order two cheeseburgers a point (well cooked), they arrive rare, we point this out to the waitress, asking her to cook them more, a pleasant surprise, they made them again from scratch (all we needed was for them to finish cooking ours). I bite into mine and find it even bloodier than the first, I point it out to the waitress, not saying to recook them, she very kindly takes a photo to show it to the dirty cooker who sends me the reply that for him a bloody hamburger is well cooked, I'll have to ask very cooked next time which obviously won't be there. All it takes is an amoeba's qi and basic food hygiene training to know that to remove the bacterial load from any minced meat, you need to cook it to perfection. Too bad otherwise it's a really nice place. Go there, but try to be really clear about how you want to eat, you might have to eat according to him!

Very pleasant and well exposed terrace, very clean sanitary facilities, small beaches with a more family/children side. Paid access in high season. Not always easy to park, but spaces have been added going up towards the Swiss road.

Too expensive and no variety of plates. The owner or manager is square and not customer orientated. The option for take away food is very restrictive even with lots of people in the beach. If you want something you need to seat otherwise the menu is very restrictive and seating is quite expensive.

I spent a very very pleasant afternoon on a magnificent terrace and the staff is super friendly, Plus I was well accompanied so that helps, no just magnificent and we ate two beautiful plates in the evening and what a scenery in terms of landscape 🤩

Excellent meal, very welcoming staff. Fast service, although it could be improved as some servers did not know which table the plates were intended for. So much so that we were asked several times if this order was for us, or even we saw our dishes go around the terrace before arriving at the table. Promenthoux beach has gained a lot with the resumption of the refreshment bar a few years ago. The team is at the top, polite and available for dynamic service, the simple and varied dishes are on the slate and the local ice creams punctuate the meal. A great place to sip your aperitif with your feet in the water with a view of Nyon and the lake.

I went there this Saturday at the restaurant and I don't recommend it apart from the setting of course The Burger is nothing appetizing and the service leaves something to be desired! The waitresses totally lost Service too slow.. error on order etc.. just a money machine this establishment Hoping not to be sick

We went as a family with our daughters, efficient, fast and smiling service. The 4 dishes we had were excellent (crispy fish, succulent pork ribs, salmon gravlax and chicken teriyaki) as well as the cheesecake and tarte tatin desserts to top it off! We will come back for sure!
