Cozy atmosphere, both modern and very warm rustic. Traditional beef tatare, served with lovely fresh toasted bread and seasoned with super fresh olive oil. Small downside, it's served with frozen, soft fries. With the quality of the dish, we can largely do without this fast-food artifice or replace it with fresh fries. The price is quite affordable. The staff is discreet and sometimes lacks experience, a little updating of Swiss customs and customs would be a plus. The curiosity brought by the menu invites you to come back to taste. I had booked for Valentine's Day, already getting them on the phone was a hassle (it took me 2-3 days) then they offered me the Valentine's Day menu over the phone but we are lovers of truffle and we particularly wanted to taste their truffle pizza, they told me it was good. 1 hour before going, they called me to tell me that their oven broke down and that unfortunately there would be no pizza (which can happen but hey, the restaurant opens at 6 p.m. the time they told me called to tell me the oven was broken, I can't believe they showed up and the oven broke instantly, they could have warned me before). I feel like they told me it was broken just so I could get the special Valentine's Day menu which there was no chance because there were lots of ingredients that I didn't don't eat. I'm really disappointed because when I looked at the menu I said to myself that we had finally found a restaurant near us that does truffle dishes instead of going every Saturday to Fribourg. Finally, I wouldn't take the risk of booking again! 🤦🏻‍♀️

We stopped there by chance and it was very good. Wood-fired pizzas, they are made with fresh food and they are tasty. The Calzone is really very good. Service problem because our voucher was lost in the kitchen by the waitress I suppose. So we waited a little too long and the customers who arrived later were served before us before the pizza chef realized it... Without asking anything the manager offered us a coffee and a Tiramisu dessert on the bill. The prices are very reasonable. restaurant run by Italians. Little choice of wine, only Italian wines on the other hand. Good experience.

Disappointing dish of the day: dry, overcooked fish, very oily salad without vinegar, frozen fries. On the other hand, the homemade desserts were very good, we had the tiramisu and the baba au rhum.

Pizza delicieuse ! Super service !

We were searching for a restaurant after our visit to Vallorbe caves late in the afternoon when the owners noticed us. Even though the kitchen was closed, they were kind and prepared fresh customized (vegan -vegeterain) sandwiches and spaghetti pasta. The food was nice and pocket friendly. I will definitely recommend their place.

Amazing food and wonderful service, a hidden gem in Switzerland for authentic Italian food. Despite arriving late in the afternoon when their kitchen was closed, the owner left his own meal to serve us. We ordered pasta and sandwiches and all the dishes were super tasty.

Superb discovery. We rarely come to Vallorbe but having discovered this restaurant with top Italian cuisine, we will definitely have a reason to come back. Top service, welcome with a smile. The restaurant is decorated with class and great taste. We tried the ravioli and the pizzas and everything was perfect.

Excellent tiramisuuuuu… pizza cooked over a wood fire by a real Neapolitan ;-) Mozzarella fior latte, homemade tomato sauce, you can go there with your eyes closed.

Decent cuisine but nothing more. The welcome is very good. I had the opportunity to try tartare and pizzas. The tartare chopped with a knife was great but bland. The pizzas are OK but nothing transcendent.

Very nicely decorated, delicious Italian cuisine, top-notch service and owners, smiling, kind and very commercial!

Superb restaurant decorated with great taste. The menu offers original dishes, we want to taste everything. We opted for the risottos and frankly they were very good. The desserts were also good and quite plentiful! The presentations of the plates are pretty and really tempting. The staff is welcoming and smiling even if sometimes we found the wait a little long even though the restaurant was rather quiet and we had to help ourselves with cutlery for dessert. In short, a lovely discovery in Vallorbe where we will be happy to return with friends.

Very pretty, nothing to do with formerly “France”. One side is a lounge bar and the other is a restaurant. For those who like Neapolitan style pizza it is very good. If I can say something wrong, it's just about the music... a little variety would be welcome.

Barely open and everything is there, comfortable and pleasant setting, nice atmosphere, good sound system, smiling welcome, attentive service people and ultra-good vegetarian or vegan dishes. Fries with truffle oil and parmesan, what??? It exists and no one told me anything? 😳😳😳 Yes, that’s where we find them, a delight. Everything fresh, well presented, generous portions. Even sweet potatoes... the Phénix restaurant is becoming a must in Vallorbe. I have to come back and try the pizza because it smells very good. Bravo and many thanks. I gave it 5* and it’s deserved. All good 🤩.

I went there by chance on a Friday evening and it is a very beautiful renovated restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, the waitresses are smiling and attentive. The wood-fired pizzas are excellent, especially the truffle one. We were pleasantly surprised by the wine that was recommended to us. Coffee is the perfect way to end a meal without a false note. I highly recommend this unique restaurant in the region.

Very good experience. We had a great evening, the decor is warm and the atmosphere modern with a young and dynamic team. The dishes were delicious, particularly the tartufo pizza, the stale beef rib on the bone and the glareyarde-style fondue. For dessert we were tempted by the cannolis and tiramisu which were excellent. We are going back very soon 🤩

However, very disappointed by the service: no napkins, no bread with the salad, no pepper pot with the pizza and quite SCANDALOUS impossible to get a carafe of water, even against payment when we had ordered 2 aperitif, 2 salads, 2 pizzas and a pot of red wine, plus one of the pizzas was not the one ordered!
