Establishment run by a very friendly and very helpful family despite the fast pace of the service, which is always impeccable with a smile and good humor. There are regulars and others but everyone is served with courtesy. We often take perch fillets and we are not disappointed.

My daughter and I had an excellent dinner here. I had the steak and fries and she had the chicken with morel sauce. The morel sauce was exquisite! We each had a green salad to start - also excellent, and a glass of a wine that they recommended. We got lucky we were early and got a seat at the bar as we didn’t have a reservation. The restaurant filled up quickly. Service was perfect. Hosts very friendly and patient with my less than perfect French. Restaurant is in a very nice location - we walked over from the Ruby Claire Hotel. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

A menu without fantasy but colorful. A beef tartare, the chef’s specialty, exquisite! Brilliantly spicy with a completely dissociable and harmonious blend of tastes. Traditional and mastered desserts. A well-stocked wine list. Something to please, please again and make you want to come say hello as often as your wallet allows! Average price for Geneva, neither more nor less, but quality is rarely equaled. A huge thank you to this charming family and these meticulous and talented cooks! We will come back, for sure!!!

Food was quite good. We had a different options for a side dish for main course menu. (typically everything goes with french fries which is not ok for me personally). Staff barely know English apart from one person who is usually busy. So communication was a bit complicated. Service is extremely slow especially waiting for a bill.

First when we enter this place without reservation, got table though we are lucky and looks very nice cosy little place. Before we got there I checked reviews and though this place is awesome. We had dinner there last Tue 17 Oct, had beef tarter for share 3 of us and steak with steamed vegetable and french fries. Bottle of wine. Paid £190. But then after 3 hours all 3 of us start feeling unwell, food poison. Went bathroom 100 times since then. My friend called first aid on plane. We had dinner at this place Geneva before our flight. Had terrible horrific 2 days. Recovering from BAD food poison. Still a live but seriously something wrong what we ordered. All of us had food poison. Almost 1 person died!! Please check your meat egg oil … oo I don’t know! Check before you serve! Very disappointed that we got food poison and paid decent amount!

The two ordered two drinks, a salad, beef plantcha, beef steak, and two desserts. The meals and desserts were both good, so it is recommended to make a reservation.

Seems like a family run business. They are very friendly, we walked in without a reservation on a busy evening they managed to give us a table aat the bar. Food is 10/10 and value is also 10/10. My first time and meal in Geneva and I can't say how amazed my wife and I were. Very Charming and cozy atmosphere. Can't wait to return

We walked by the place at 5pm and tried to make a reservation for 7pm. The food here is awesome and I cannot expect more from a small restaurant not so obvious at the tourist spot. The foie gras is delicious with the bread and special sauce in the plate. The medium rare beef plancha is cooked perfectly, the sauce on the top adds amazing flavor to it. The veal’s mustard sauce tastes so good that we dipped our fries and bread in it until the sauce is completely gone. We could not say no to the tarte tatin dessert. I love the way in French cooking to cook the pear and served with home made ice cream

On vacation in Geneva, we had dinner in this restaurant on Wednesday evening. Very good meal, a fillet of beef with morels, fabulous, both the sauce and the meat melt in your mouth. We recommend this table. Reasonable price for Geneva.

Tried steak with morel sauce (extra 3 CHF) everyone recommended on Google, it was good. It went well with the fries and a glass of wine However, I wasn’t impressed by the beef plancha the staff recommended. We ordered medium but it came more like a well done, a bit dry. The staff was friendly but there was a difference between French speaking vs non French speaking customers. They refused to provide more tap water as we only ordered one drink, so disappointed. Not everyone wants to drink wine or Coca-Cola.

Wow, if you want a decent steak go no further. Honestly never had a better fillet and the Morrell sauce was sensational, very limited wine selection, basic decor but you know what, I'd rather they spent the money on the steak and could not be happier with my night

Lovely family restaurant. They were very friendly and I enjoyed my dinner very much. I would recommend 100% and would want to go back in the future. Sadly, I was dining alone so I couldn't try more items from the menu. I think price is very reasonable also.

Hidden gem, local spot. Had a great lunch. Can tell it must be family owned and operated, which adds to the charm. If you’re craving steak frites this is the spot.

Very noisy, even though we had a table a little further away. And bad beef tartare, much too sweet. On the other hand, the foie gras terrine is very good even if the portion is rather small for the price.

Specialties are amazing. Perch from the lac, and veal kidneys followed by an amazing crème brulé. Friendly, very reasonable, unpretentious and welcoming in central Geneva.

This was our best meal in Geneva (we stayed for a week). Great food (besides all the sophisticated dishes, these were the best potato fries I can remember - thin and crispy). The prices are not outrageous by Geneva standards. The location is very central, close to Jardin Anglais. We set outside and enjoyed the surroundings. The most memorable part: our server - a lovely friendly lady, who must have been in her late 70s or 80s (perhaps the owner of the restaurant?)

We just passed by and saw the owner serving… made us feel to get in and have that experience! By lucky, we got a table and we’re súper well served! I ordered the best steak tartar I have ever tried! Highly recommend! 3 adults with glasses of wine: 140€ Good price for the fashionable and chic neighborhood!

A jump into a French bistro with traditional dishes nicely prepared. They could use a bit more TLC and take it to the next level (i.e. fries could be fried at a high temp, morels sauce could be thicker and better seasoned, tagliatelle cooked Al dente). This said, you will fall in love with the atmosphere and the family that holds the restaurant. They make you feel in their house and allow you to get hugged by their wonderful food. Bravo à vous

Half price. The tarte tatin very good. The perch had leftover sauce. Lovely waiters. The place is cozy but very noisy.

Quality meat but the sauces were bland. The staff was unfriendly, sometimes making inappropriate comments. The wine served was acidic and they did not want to change it, they simply aerated it so as not to have to open another bottle... And then a nice salty addition for 6 people. No drinks or coffee offered. This doesn't make you want to come back. Thanks but no thanks!

Good Food. Odd Experience. We made a reservation online and went to Le Thermometre for dinner for a social outing with another couple. The food was quite good, especially given the reasonable (for Geneva) prices. The couple we were with were not particularly hungry, so they elected to share a steak and a salad. The server feigned surprise and sounded a little disapproving as he confirmed several times that they wanted "just one" entree. Then, a few minutes later, I received a notification on my phone that our online reservation had been updated from a table for four to a table for three. The only way I can imagine this happening is if the restaurant went to the website and made the change. Odd. After the meal my wife left the table to find the restroom. There were no obvious signs, so she asked our server to tell her where the restrooms were. He pointed to open the sink at the bar in the restaurant and laughed. After he noticed that she was not amused, he pointed down the stairs to the actual restrooms. Odd again. I debated whether or not to leave a review, given the likelihood of an "odd" response or reaction from the restaurant, but decided to share our experience and let others decide if these potentially trivial oddities matter to them or not.

A charming place, very familiar. We ate the specialty (grilled steak with gratin potatoes on the side) and we thought it was delicious. The price is not cheap but it is worth it.

We ate very well and were very well attended. The lady who runs the place is charming, although she doesn't know English or Spanish, nor did she need to understand us. We had filet de boeuf a la planche (beef with basil), emincer de veau (pork with mustard sauce) and pasta which were very delicious.

Their mom was working when we got there getting drinks and taking food requests. She was so sweet, so helpful, so nice. And when she left her son have her sick a sweet goodbye. It was so cool! The food was his too. The Lac Perch were excellent; the menu called it fried but it was not what I call fried. I think of it as grilled and in a creme sauce. It was all great. The fries and vegetables were an excellent compliment. Daughter had Beef Plancha and it had great flavor but the beef was a little tougher than we're used to fixing such. The potato gratin was another excellent side. If you speak to the mom all her for the Swiss white wine, it really was better than the French options. Also, do make reservations to get the best of the outdoor seating.

Came here for lunch. Was lucky to get a seat. Arrived at 11.30am. service was good. They were very friendly.i was the first one there at the Time. It got hectic after 12pm. Quite a popular place. The perch was great, they used a lot of butter that added the extra umami flavour. The creme brulee was also quite nice. Worth a visit.

Very good food, friendly welcome, but poor room decoration and a somewhat austere atmosphere.

Fine, fresh and delicious, cakes are a dream, I've had better fries, but overall very good food! And therefore a clear recommendation. The service is unobtrusive, very nice and attentive, the atmosphere is calm and pleasant (the restaurant was not full, however), and we were able to converse at a normal volume.

I tried it a few months ago and forgot to rate it, but it is impossible to forget the delicious taste. I tried the fish and meat, they were very delicious. The potatoes were crunchy and very delicious. The atmosphere of the small restaurant is warm and family-friendly
