Lej Da Staz in Celerina/Schlarigna

Cute, but hot drinks and various dishes are served in cardboard plates and cups. I imagine for a logistical question. I ordered a portion of Vermicelli. Honestly, there was more cream and meringues than chestnut puree.

Friendly conditions, cool location. Certainly great in summer... :)

Very well known and very touristy but this does not mean it loses its charm. It can be reached on foot or by bicycle. Wonderful in all seasons of the year. There are benches where you can sit in the sun or chat or simply relax. The kiosk is 2 steps away, very convenient for eating and drinking something with friends. For those who don't know it yet, take a look because it really improves everyone's mood.

The coffee was from a fully automatic machine. Quality ok.

This is a very mystical place... full of joy and possibilities. You can get food there in the restaurant (only with reservation) or from a "food track" right on the lake (here without reservation). We enjoyed it very much!

A wonderful place to linger for a moment after a long walk in the forest or at Lake St. Moritz and enjoy the breathtaking panorama looking across the lake to the white-powdered peaks. If I can still buy something to drink and maybe a bite to eat at the expanded kiosk, even though the restaurant is closed, then that's a huge gift! The prices are typical for the region. I treat myself to a cold wheat beer for 8 Stutz with a plastic cup and am happy about it! And I also received friendly service! The opening times may vary depending on the weather and season? Yesterday we finished work at 4 p.m. But that also guarantees a sunny way back to St. Moritz!

The kiosk is open in the off-season. Plastic cutlery that breaks the first time you use it. The location is super nice, you can enjoy it without consuming anything.

It was disappointing to see that the restaurant was already closed on 3 October 2022 and that only the food trailer was open. I am expecting more from a premium place like St. Moritz. The menu at the food trailer wasn't really great. 1/2 chicken with french fries, fried tofu, etc. isn't really what most of the people are expecting. Additionally, there was no playground for the kids although this is shown on the webpage of the restaurant. The good thing is that there are sufficient picnic spots with fireplaces nearby.

The place is beautiful, the lake is suitable for swimming and is served by a hotel and restaurant, with external locations where you can get the traditional bratwurst with chips or mustard and bread, and it is within walking distance of Lake St. Moritz. The menu is quite varied and the selection of cakes inviting, but I find that the prices are a little too high compared to the actual quality of the offering.

I have been visiting this place for many years and I must admit that it has improved a lot. Now the lake is banable (for those who have a lot of courage and don't suffer from the cold), the lawns are equipped with grill stations, the piers have been redone and everything is very well looked after. There is a hotel restaurant and a couple of "food trucks" offering everything and more at very different prices. If in my opinion the restaurant is more expensive compared to the perceived quality, the food trucks offer more democratic alternatives. The whole thing is not only worth a visit, but worth an afternoon with a good book or family.

Stazersee is a favorite place of mine. Since always. But the sound on the terrace and the entire bathing area with the booming bass that everyone has to listen to really bothered us. We ate expensive and super-fine food. For dessert we went down to St. Moritz. When asked to turn down the bass a little, the waiter replied: "The boss wants it that way." All I'm saying is: "The guests can't sit in the garden with the Pamir! - It's a shame for the beautiful place and the animals and people in the area!"

That used to be a great stop as a typical Swiss mountain hut in a picturesque mountain world that was easy for everyone to reach. The catering industry is now divided into three areas according to classes. Do you need El Paradiso champagne at bar tables? Something honest and a few benches would give the whole thing a character appropriate to the mountain world. Loveless in terms of presentation and service. Another like to be fancy but in the end useless stuff in this area. The other commenters mentioned the prices. The second star goes to the location in nature.

Nice location and lovely cake buffet. Mostly pretty crowded. Unfortunately this season they changed the menu and some really great dishes are not available anymore (like the garlic bread). The online menu is not valid anymore. On the terrace downstairs you're not able to have lunch or main courses anymore, anly coffee (beverage) and cake. That is a downgrade in my opinion.

Actually a nice restaurant. However, the prices have soon reached the pain threshold. Of course there are a lot of people there who don't care about money. But for normal people the prices are already hefty. The staff is nice and friendly but nothing more. The price for half a chicken of CHF 32.-- (without any side dishes, of course) is sporty. The supplements are still charged at 7.50. Conclusion: if money is no object and you feel comfortable in noble society, you should go there to eat.

Renovated with a lot of love and a new concept. The ground floor offers enough space in a lounge atmosphere for a comfortable get-together. The restaurant is on the first floor. The menu is varied and offers something for every taste. Cheese fondue is of course also available. On the second floor there are 6 guest rooms that can be rented.

Service was horrible. The waiter here in the picture made us wait for 1h for a table for lunch, making other people who had no reservation come through just because they spoke the same language as him. At the end he told us to wait an additional 30 min, regardless of the fact that I heard him offering a table to other clients who also did not have a reservation I definitely do not recommend this place that is the complete opposite of a relaxing, apres-ski location.

Restaurant Lej da Staz is a magical place. From the great traditional-non-traditional cuisine with local products, it is possible to spend the night here, in the winter you can skate on borrowed skates, and the cross-country circuit leads to the cottage. In the summer, there is pleasant swimming and the possibility of grilling on the wood-equipped grills present everywhere. Definitely recommend!

Lake reachable on foot from the main lake of Saint Moritz, you enter a very beautiful forest. If you have some seeds or bread crumbs you can offer them to the birds present, just stretch out your hand and they will magically come to eat. After the forest you will see Lake Lej da Staz and in the winter you will find it frozen surrounded by the forest and at the end there is the typical restaurant. Beautiful.

The lake radiates peace and beauty. A wonderful place to just linger. There is a restaurant that I didn't visit. There are beautifully landscaped fireplaces at the lake and you can swim.

Location: great Service: loud and inconsistent Prices: completely exorbitant!!! (e.g. 1 liter of spring water 12.00 CHF, snack board 42.00 CHF) and this was served to us without cutlery or napkin, but with dirty plates. We remember the restaurant very differently!! Such a shame!!! In the future we will also have a picnic at the lake!!
