An amazing bar just off the Plainpalais. Bartenders are very heavy-handed with the spirits, and you definitely get your money's worth! The range of cocktails is excellent. Only downside is the poor ventilation - it gets pretty warm towards the end of the day.

Went looking for this place, due to google search. Did not disappoint, nice atmosphere, cheapest pint during our 4 day stay. No food at night/tea time, apart from bar food, the lunch time menu looked good and reasonably priced. Only down side is not enough toilets.

I highly recommend having lunch there, you will be surprised.

When we arrived, they refused us to order at the bar, because a waiter had to "arrive". Once we came to our table, the bearded waiter threatened to take us out of the bar, because we made a remark about the serving time. In short, the service left something to be desired and we do not recommend going there, because the waiter is unpleasant and the friendly atmosphere of the bar is compromised. After reading the bar's response, I took the liberty of modifying it, because I do not understand such a closure worthy of Parisian brasseries. Not being able to discern the difference between an insult and a remark is the last straw for a trader. Oh yes it's true! I apparently don't know what I'm talking about! I don't think it's the right way to build customer loyalty by rejecting them. Questioning themselves or trying to change the way they operate is obviously not a priority for them.
