Simple but stylish furnishings, a feel-good atmosphere, fine dishes carefully prepared and served. Friendly, attentive employees. A restaurant that practices inclusion in a natural way. A really big compliment! Also highly recommended for groups!

It's my first time at Libelle and I'm totally impressed by the corporate culture, the attitude, the food and the friendliness towards people and animals! I can really recommend this location more than anything. Anyone who doesn't go has themselves to blame. 😜✌️🥳🎉

The brunch was delicious, just overpriced for what you get. This is not for the very hungry. I imagine hospitality differently. This 45.- per person included Prosecco (Fr. 8.- per person per person), me and my companion didn't want alcohol but instead a salmon plate (worth Fr. 14.00). Later we also order an iced tea each. Then when it comes to the bill, lo and behold, the charge was too much! Due to the service employee's poor communication, she ended up charging us the full Fr45.- PLUS 14.- for the salmon plate! Very disappointing, when I asked if you could take the iced tea as compensation for the 45.- she was not willing to compromise. It's a shame, I probably won't visit there again because the service is just not what it used to be. Two potential customers and probably a few fewer customers from word of mouth!

We celebrated a lovely birthday yesterday. Good service and great food. Everything was very comfortable and good. It was my first time there...preferably not the last time. We'll definitely come back.

Cozy, uncomplicated and very fine food.

We dined here for lunch yesterday, the staff were so friendly, warm and accomodating - and happy to speak to us in English. We had a baby pram and it was very busy for lunch hour, but they still found us a spot, helped us with the menu and packed a takea way box for left overs. The vegetarian options were super tasty. A wonderful example of Swiss hospitality, highly recommended!

Relaxed and pleasant atmosphere with dimmed lights. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food (veal involtini and vegetable curry) was extremely delicious. The stay was really relaxing after a hectic day at work.

The homemade iced tea is worth trying - very cozy atmosphere and very friendly service - just to feel good.

Average. Had the rosti and it was full of vegetables with no meat. Too much vegetables that it actually corrupted the taste of the rosti. There are better Rostis for their price point

Price was a bit expensive for the portions but the ingredients were really EXCELLENT!

Always a surprise, great modern cuisine, casual atmosphere, very friendly service and there is also an offer for the socially disadvantaged, great concept, changing menus and the dessert is a dream, scratches the gourmet stars for me, they deserve it! ;-)

Despite being far from the center, it is worth the 15-minute walk. Excellent food, excellent value for money and even better attention from all the staff. Highly recommended.

It’s quite insulting that they charge you 3,50 chf after ordering brunch for 3 people (orange juices, coffees, mains and desserts). Definitely wouldn’t recommend it and never coming back. Staff however are very nice and helpful. Even though in their reply they say it was an oversight it wasn’t, as we asked the staff and they politely said they will still charge us for a glass of tap water.

Food was fine and the server was nice. Be careful if you ask for a small glass (not bottle) of tap water. They will bill you 3.50. I thought it was a mistake but he confirmed that a small glass of Luke warm tap water is 3.50. It’s a shame as the place didn’t seem this desperate and the servers were nice. They will take your money, donate it to charity as if it is their own altruistic act.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. We tried multiple dishes and they were all delicious. The staff also gave great wine recommendations.

Found this place in an effort to find great food with a willingness to try different parts of Lucerne. I LOVE that this restaurant keeps a very limited menu (for lunch, there are 2 mains that are always offered and 2 that rotate - 1 with an animal protein and 1 vegetarian) - quality was top notch. We had the Saltimbocca over a bed of risotto and the antipasti platter since they had sold out of a pork special of the day - both were great. For our 2 kids that were in tow, we shared the generous portions with them and ordered a pasta with red sauce. It was quite cute that they came out with kids plates with fun designs on them. The post-lunch coffee was also a highlight - flat white, mocha, cappuccino this is your place. All in all, a true neighborhood gem, worth the 10 min to get outside of the tourist center to enjoy.

Finally no brocade tablecloth and pensioner crockery, the Libelle is a large cafe with stylish furnishings in Berlin style. Friendly and attentive staff with whom you can have a chat and fresh ideas from the kitchen. Absolutely great

I had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Libelle in Lucerne and I have to say I loved it! The food was absolutely delicious and the selection was great. The staff was very attentive and friendly, which made my stay even more pleasant. The ambience of the restaurant was very stylish and cozy, creating a perfect atmosphere for dinner. I can highly recommend Restaurant Libelle if you are looking for an excellent dining experience in Lucerne.

It is a nice non touristic restaurant but I was quite disappointed with brunch. A really basic offer for a really high price. No variety of cheese (only one type), not enough bread, a cold thin pancake with industrialized chocolate syrup, and less quantity of meat when compared to the pictures from reviews of past years. I was expecting more for such high quality restaurant.

Price-performance is not right at all! 150 Fr. for 4 people for breakfast. 2x bread with butter + jam, 2x hash browns + bacon, 1x crepes, orange juice and every coffee and water... Timing is also a foreign word. Four slices of bread are served in a basket, but the rest doesn't come. Then you eat 1 slice and about 20 minutes later you get a portion of butter and some confit... thanks for nothing! I won't visit again!

We had a super nice brunch at the Libelle. The entire service team was very attentive. The dishes were a relief for the soul. The kitchen prepared the dishes with heart. We always enjoy coming to the Libelle and would recommend it to everyone.

Libelle - The restaurant with social commitment. Beautiful and modern neighborhood pub and friendly, attentive staff. The “Super Libelle” breakfast is recommended. The dishes are freshly prepared and beautifully presented on the plates. It's just a shame that everything was served at once. That means the warm egg dish, the plate with cheese, sausages and the butter with jam. Also the sweet crepes. Which ended up being cold until we ate it. We will definitely come back another time.

Nice atmosphere, we'll definitely come and eat something. Depending on your position in the huge restaurant, you have to order something strategically because you are not always in the staff's field of vision.

Way too expensive for what you get at brunch. We didn't have any croissants anymore and the bread wasn't fresh. Reorders of jam or bread not welcome. There are much better things out there for the same price.

We enjoyed a delicious and varied brunch at Libelle. Upon request, I was also given a vegetarian option, which was served with plenty of fruit. The service was quick, very friendly and accommodating. A brunch at the Libelle is a wonderful way to start your Sunday and you've done something good at the same time, because the Libelle is a social enterprise with a work integration program. I'd love to come back 🤩.

Remarkably warm people who serve you and serve very good food. The wine list is excellent with selected delicacies. You just feel completely comfortable!

Very good restaurant with a social mission. We were there for brunch. The large breakfast was very rich with everything your heart desires. Bread, croissants, butter, jam, muesli, pancakes, cold cuts, eggs prepared of your choice, coffee, tea or Ovi/chocolate. Reordering was possible at any time. The service was very friendly and prompt. Only recommended!

We celebrated our daughter's 25th birthday with a family dinner. The service was uncomplicated and friendly. The food tasted fine. The portions of the main course were rather large. It's a shame about food waste! The ambience was very inviting (with an open kitchen). You can stand by the most important thing - the top work of the kitchen staff.

The perfect brunch place. The staff was very accommodating and listened to our needs. The Rösti are highly recommended and the atmosphere is great. The open kitchen shows a lot of transparency and also offers people an opportunity who would otherwise have difficulties in the job market. So there is a lot to be said for visiting the Libelle.

The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere. The guests all seem to be from the neighborhood. All age groups are present, I think it's great! The service was friendly and professional! The highlight was the food. simply great! The pumpkin cream soup, the homemade pasta with spinach and creamy sauce were very good and perfectly seasoned. According to my son (I didn't get anything 😎) the entrecôute with homemade gnocci was unique, simply perfect.. Thanks to the whole team, we'll be back Greeting Torsten
