Great atmosphere, friendly service and very good food. You can tell that the team cares about its guests and always gives the best, always according to the law. If it doesn't exist, it doesn't exist because they try to fulfill their wishes. Thank you very much.

I probably didn't have the best evening. It was very hectic and loud. The pumpkin cream soup as a starter and the meatloaf for the main course were also average at best. The prices are high. The service was friendly and good.

I have been a guest before and I received excellent game menus at a good price-performance ratio. Very pleasant service from all employees and management. I would be happy to come back to Essen at any time, but since you are usually fully booked during the game season, it will be difficult.

Lovely restaurant just outside the main city area - the staff were so helpful with explaining the menu and the food was so unique and so tasty - the deer with autumn veg was so different and so tasty!!

Definitely worth a visit.. The food was perfectly prepared by the kitchen. On Fridays you will also be offered a dessert to go with your menu. The terrace is inviting and very comfortably furnished. The service staff is also friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back.

We were a group of 8 people. Everything went perfectly from the reservation to dinner. The conditions were very friendly, courteous and competent. The menus met our expectations 100%. The spare rips are particularly recommended. We'd love to come back.

We were here during the Cordon Bleu period; Food and service top; The cleanliness of the Dyson hand dryer should be checked (mold is starting to form). Alternatively, there were paper towels. We would like to come back at another time to try out the other dishes (asparagus time, burger time or game time)

We were staying a few minutes away and wanted to find a restaurant for a romantic dinner this Easter Sunday. Lovers of Cordons bleus, we quickly made our choice as we passed the Wirthaus zum Unterlachen and we were not disappointed. It's a really pretty place with a decor and an atmosphere in which we immediately felt comfortable. Qualified, discreet and really pleasant staff offered us very good service. The atmosphere was quiet and the tables were well spaced. Our cordon bleu (for my part chicken, cheese and a delicious and juicy sauce) were perfectly made and we enjoyed ourselves. Many thanks for the good time spent in your establishment.

It's very chatty but not loud because the tables are spaced well apart. It's a little too expensive, but since the wages are probably appropriate, I accept that. Our 2 Cordonbleus are good to enjoy. There was far too much oil on my pasta, they can't do anything about it but unfortunately my stomach can't tolerate it.

An insider tip in Lucerne! Seasonal weeks are great. Cordon bleu from deer is really delicious, as is Metzgede food or classic Zurich schnitzel with rösti, simply delicious and reasonably priced for Switzerland.

Food was great, I had hot stone with beef fillet. Cream schnitzel was also rated as very good. We recommend it. Reservation is an advantage.

The food and service were great - 5 stars! What really puzzled us, however, is that the deer meat comes from New Zealand (roe deer from Austria). When asked, they said it came from a farm in New Zealand - the boss had looked into it himself. What on earth drives you to let this very meat fly here from the other side of the world? Absolutely incomprehensible to us.

Food really very good. The red cabbage in particular was really amazing. Ambiance is super harmonious and stylish. Unfortunately service was very disappointing. You had to pour yourself more wine. Attention was completely misplaced. We completely lost the desire for dessert. As soon as we arrived we had to wait forever until someone came. You felt rather unwelcome. We would be happy to come back at any time for the good food, but we would be grateful for the service.

We were eating game. It was very good, also in terms of price performance. We didn't have to wait long. A friendly team. The only thing that bothered me was the noise level / it was full and very loud. But really recommended.

We went there specifically for venison and wer not disappointed. Good portion sizes, delicious food. The only thing you need is time :)

Unfortunately, the staff wasn't really attentive (regarding gluten-free dishes). Salad is still served with croutons. Very disappointing main course (meatloaf with mashed potatoes and vegetables). Ordered without the meatloaf - a very small portion of mashed potatoes is served with about a broccoli and a carrot. If the meatloaf is left out, you could at least expect a little more vegetables. Disappointing for me and not recommended.

Yes, what can you say: simply one of the top, if not the best, restaurant in Lucerne. No frills, price and performance are right! If you like rustic, go to the right... if you like a pleasant atmosphere, go to the left. Cordonbleu, meatloaf and butcher's meat are simply a delight

I had soup, salad, and pork tenderloin steak for lunch, and it was cheap, plentiful, and delicious. I didn't expect much from the pork steak, but it was delicious with no meaty flavor or smell. In particular, the staff were so friendly that I had a pleasant stay.

Always worth a visit, compliments to the kitchen! The lunch menu always includes 3 different dishes and really has something for every taste. These always include a meat dish, a vegetarian dish and a so-called “weekly hit”. However, you should make a reservation, especially at lunchtime, as it is always busy.
