Very well eaten, a little noisy.

The brunch was good, there were even croissants from the Hôtel de Ville de Crissier. On the other hand, it's very tight inside, we can't hear each other speak. We were able to order directly with our phones which is convenient. Too bad my girlfriend's dish was served after we had all finished. Lack of coordination at service level. Plus we ate on lawn chairs. To do once but no more.

Bad experience. Everything was very pretty, but it was cold and not very good. We sent our eggs back because they were cold, they apologized and brought us back barely warm eggs. The matcha was cold, the chai had no taste. It looks more like a trendy fast food brunch than a restaurant with good quality food. The French toast came out of the microwave 😞 Small place, too full, money making machine

I harshly criticize the choice to fill the hall with so many tables. It is really cramped. To fill the space they even put a table behind the entrance door to maximize profit. This cluster of people in no way favors a bruch atmosphere. What's more, the staff kept insistenetly suggesting that we complete our order with additional products. Exeperience not worth it, I won't return there.

Brunch last weekend, I had the Burger and my wife the granola. Cooking OK even if not enough yogurt in the granola. On the other hand, we waited 50 minutes with a 1 year old baby. Too many people, too much noise, not enough staff, but in short it delayed our plans for the afternoon. In short, less than average on this one. We'll try again, but not for a while.

I would have ordered their entire menu, everything fresh and just made. Everything delicious.

A Sunday haven when most doors are shut, this cafe shines, no if, and, or but. Brunch is a delight, a feast for the soul, with servers so kind, making dining whole. Even at its fullest, they'll find you a seat, ensuring your brunch experience is sweet. The food, oh the food, a masterpiece on a plate, cooked to perfection, making it worth the wait. Truly a gem, where care and flavor meet, a brunch destination that's hard to beat.

I found brunch overrated. We are pressed for time, the dishes were OK but nothing more and we are very cramped. The interior decor is a bit sterile. Overall it gives the impression of a slot machine.

Hands down the best cafe in Lausanne. We had the savoury and the apple cinammon french toasts. Great coffee. Everything is spot. Generous serving, reasonable price, tasted really good. Very friendly atmosphere and great service. The staff are very nice, polite and pleasant. Finally found our local cafe and will definitely frequent this place everytime I’m in town.

Great discovery in Lausanne while we were looking for a place to have brunch. Everyone was super pleasant and welcoming, the dishes were great and so good. I recommend with your eyes closed.

I love going to eat or have a coffee at Impression. The food is really good, the products are fresh and you can feel the effort of the kitchen in the mix of tastes and the presentation of the dishes. We are always very well received, the staff are super smiling and friendly and the manager is really great! :-). Thank you to all of you!

Note - We had only coffees and cake at this cafe so this review is only for that - the brunch does look delicious. On coffee/drinks - we ordered flat whites and a hot chocolate. They were all served in the largest mugs imaginable. The coffees were like weak espresso soup. The hot chocolate was barely luke warm. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, it became clear that they didn’t really understand what the proportions of a flat white should be - they seemed to think it should be a weak milky coffee rather than a coffee that is stronger than cappuccino. We got replacements which were smaller but still very milky. The barista “fixed” the hot chocolate by heating it up directly by putting the steam wand into the mug! All in all, it seemed very amateurish. Having said that - everyone was very nice. So these problems would be easily fixed by simply training the barista properly. It was also nice to find somewhere that was open on Sunday. The cakes we ordered were a bit dry and dense but maybe this is just a question of taste. Other people around us seem to be enjoying them fine.

Service was so good and the atmosphere is very cute and cozy. The hot chocolates are perfect!!! I 100% recommande that place.

Good quality food quite expensive. But too bad, after about an hour, barely after having finished eating, we were told half-heartedly that it was time to leave, slightly rude even though the restaurant was not at all full. A bit like at the factory, next...

Café & restaurant Impression is a formidable place. I went there a few months ago and I didn't get in because there was no space; now I understand. The atmosphere and service are really nice. A very original combination with the names of the teas, highly recommended ("Les caprices de Lili") and the strawberry tart. Nevertheless, the menu and the prices refer to quality. ✨

I've been wanting to try this place for too long and it's finally done! And conquered by this more elaborate brunch than usual, a beautiful choice of pastries direct from the Crissier town hall 😁 and very appetizing dishes, well balanced, well served we wanted to try the sweets but not enough places, it It doesn't matter, we'll come back 😉! And excellent service above all!

Very good brunch, the dishes are tasty and we had a good culinary time :) The team is very friendly and will take very good care of you! We also really liked the band Parcels as background music ;-) - Good luck to the whole team! (Small drawbacks: the comfort of the tables and chairs as well as the concept of seating, we sit very close together, rather glued to our table neighbors. The reasons are obvious but I believe that this would add a lot of quality to the experience if the space was “more airy” between the tables.)

A great place to eat brunch. The fare served is generally not as hearty as the American version of the meal but certainly competes well with the more élégant version of the meal that can readily be found in Seattle. Their 🥑 toast, for instance, is beautifully presented but the bread lacks substance and crunchiness. For the price, the dish would benefit from a second egg, preferably poached, and the addition of a tangy sauce or cheese. Fresh ground pepper would also have been a nice addition. The service was excellent but we felt cramped in the over crowded dining room. There is a terrace but it is shaded and noisy.

High expectations I must admit reading the reviews, the kitchen disappointed us a little. We had the chicken burger and the bacon eggs pancakes, the taste was nothing more. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is cool.

L'Impression Cafe & Restaurant offers attractive food presentation and a diverse selection of breakfast and brunch options. With plenty of outdoor seating, it is particularly busy on weekends, which is why reservations are advisable. The decor is attractively designed, but the taste of the food was only okay. For the price asked, I would have expected much more. I also found the drink prices to be disproportionately high. So overall a mixed experience.

A perfect place to enjoy your time relaxing, working and catching up with friends. The food is delicious although the kitchen only starts at 10. I didn’t know this and reached the place early at 845 and although a little sad as I was hungry but got a delicious Paine au chocolate (chocolate croissant).. I came back though at 1130 and had my French toast, aahhh it was lip smacking.. the server was professional, helpful and smiling.. perfect start to the day.. they have both inside and outdoor seating which is apt.

The team at this restaurant is just INCREDIBLE! We were a group of 10 (including children) and they managed to handle our orders with flying colors. Fast service and smiling staff. And to top it all off, the meat is halal. THANKS.

Been there several times for brunch, one of the best brunch places in Lausanne. Everything looks good and is delicious. The staff is also very nice and friendly. Do make sure to reserve though (especially if you are more than two people) as the place is almost always packed.

Food is excellent and made with care beautiful as well as delicious! Service is excellent even if the place is full. They even brought us the wrong order, replaced it and offered us a danish while waiting for the correct order. Ingredients are fresh and dishes feel special. Highly recommend!

Nice brunch but given my experience in catering I noticed a few errors: no communication between the waitresses (3 came within 2 minutes to take our order), excessively loud music (brunch is meant for chatting, we are not in a nightclub, and even after asking to turn down the sound was extremely loud), and problems with cooking (raw fries) and seasoning. (the mesclun salad too salty) The restaurant nevertheless remains a very nice place to brunch, the dishes are copious, and still very good. This could just be improved to achieve perfection!

Café well located a stone's throw from the station with a pretty terrace. On the other hand, the service was rather average, and the price of the toast was not worth it at all (uninteresting avocado toast, at 25.-). Good coffee and good pastries!

Food was good but incredible looong wait for a weekday lunch… hour long, between starter and main. Reason given is everyone arrived at the same time which is normal for lunch I would imagine. Guess that kitchen is understaffed. No gesture made for time spent waiting by restaurant.
