Linde Oberstrass in Zürich

Food is horrible. Flamenküch is frozen food they buy I’m pretty sure. Rösti are pre-made and don’t taste good. It is very expansive for the quality they serve. If you want to eat real food I do not recommend you go there

I was there with a closed group in the hall on the upper floor. A very nice hall and well equipped with a projector and everything electronic. The food was fine except for the apple strudel, there was something wrong with the dough in my opinion. Otherwise everything was great. Highly recommended for events too.

Nice restaurant that I didn't expect. Not so inviting from the outside, but awesome on the inside: Very nice staff, very pleasant atmosphere and very good food (I had turkey skewer with fries, super fresh and tasty) Own beer (I didn't try it) but I also liked the Ripassa. Not luxury, but simply good. It was my first time there, but definitely not the last time. There is still a lot to discover on the map. Thanks to the team!

Today I ordered the giant cordon bleu. Unfortunately it was anything but huge and I had to look for the cheese. That was a disappointment

We ate there for the first time today and loved it. Since we often stay next door at the Hotel Rigihof, we will again enjoy the good food and the friendly atmosphere.

I never thought I'd wait this long for food before. Even though there weren't many customers in the restaurant. Until each menu item arrives, you have to wait and wait some more. I spent more than 2 hours at the restaurant 🙄🙄

Nice restaurant with home-brewed beer (although this is a matter of taste), polite and attentive service, the food (at least my Rösti) was unfortunately only average, the price-performance ratio is okay

Nice, cozy restaurant. I find the ambience to be a sweet spot between rustic and chic. The service is sufficient. However, we sat in a larger room, there were a lot of people there (probably Christmas parties). There could have been one more waiter/waiter if necessary. The food was really very good, the PLV was good. I will come back and can recommend it. The connection is great with a stop right in front of the door, making it easily accessible for older or disabled guests.

A discovery! Great restaurant. The service was very difficult: almost all guests wanted to go to the Rigiblick Theater at eight o'clock. But the service was very friendly and quick. Recommended: the tarte flambée and the beer!

Very noisy, the food wasn't good. Even though I pointed out that I had a food allergy, I was served both the salad and the main course with the harmful allergens. I'm definitely not coming back!

Linde is a great place for quality food. Always lively with great service. Our place to feel good. Reserve ahead on busy days.

Actually a great place with average food at a fair price. But then the service: slow or non-existent. When the restaurant is barely half full, it often takes more than an hour to eat lunch... Orders are completely lost or forgotten or come incorrectly. Sometimes you wait 15 minutes for the bill. A no go for a quick lunch between appointments.

Helena didn't like the house beer, but really it was fine.

Delicious, the food is exquisite!! And the attention and service of excellence!! The beef in mushroom sauce with white wine was incredible!! And on Thursdays they have the pork chamorro that is on another level!! Their craft beers are incredible, we had to try theirs. Autumn and it is full of flavor!! :) :) :) Super recommended!!

I’ve never had a disgusting meal in my life at a restaurant! The vegan ravioli was impossible!

I ordered the Zürigeschnetzeltes with Rösti (home delivery). The meat and sauce were good, but I've never had such an ugly hash brown before. The potatoes had a "raw" taste, were only very lightly fried and the hash browns were not crispy at all.

Grill menu was really good, it was too hot for beer for me. Thanks for enough ice in the drinks

Was there for a gathering of an executive board. Everything was just perfect - size of the rooms provided, technical infrastructure, attentive but not obtrusive service. And finally a dinner way beyond expectations for a "mere" restaurant in a residental quarter.

We went with our Family. I must say every dish good. Not extraordinary but just very good. The Asparagus from high quality cooked to the right point. The simple potatoes cooked to perfect consistency with neither too much or too less butter. Very delicious Asparagus Soup. Even the children menu's were so good they finished all. Simple but good. Unfortunately they were out of the Weizen Beer. Service was easy going. cosy. We will visit Linde again.

This restaurant was recommended highly by a local. Sadly, my meal did not meet the hype that came with it, the pasta was served dry without any sauce, the chicken that came with it was unusually dry too, kinda disappointing experience. However, service was excellent and prompt. Beer was okay. Decent place if you're hungry. Wouldn't recommend, sad to say.

For me the discovery of the year. ... and on Thursday evenings we have osso bucco... I definitely have to go there.

Food is very tasty. The waitresses are very friendly. We were so excited about everything that we even ate at the Linde twice during our short vacation.

We didn't feel like guests, the entire crew was too busy with themselves. The operation is confusing and not very competent. The risotto with truffles didn't taste any trace of truffles, the rocket on top was old and dry, as were the figs. Answer from the waiter: The people of Ticino can do it better…oops. The perch fillets in beer batter…pre-fried, convenient food quality. Everywhere there is a lack of love for food or the desire to do something good for the guest, just to make them happy. Too bad, that's it.

I rarely have to report that the service was strange. A very self-confident, almost too conscious demeanor and with a very specific opinion. I didn't even hear him say out loud at another table: "Why don't you leave it to me, that's my job!" ... with a reprimanding tone. Strange. The food wasn't that tasty: I like my Rösti crispy and not quite as buttery/puddy and the Züri Gschnetzeltes was tasteless and the veal was partly not fully cooked. It was okay, but nothing more.

Good restaurant for home cooking. Service is actually very good, what was a bit irritating was that the order taken incorrectly by the waiter was simply charged to the guests.

Very friendly service, reservation in the fireplace room worked. Food selection good and varied as well as generous portions. However, the chairs are chic but uncomfortable. Otherwise the ambience is great and the prices are good “by Swiss standards”.

Amazing food, great drinks, wonderful service. Highly recommend! It is such a cozy, little place serving delicious food! My venison was so delicious my 5 YO daughter ended up eating almost all of it. She also really enjoyed my wife's roast boar. Would definately go back if we're in town.

Always good cuisine and good service. Recommendation

I typically find Swiss cuisine somewhat boring but this place is an exception. Their food is great, ingredients are of high quality and their beers are better than many Swiss craft breweries. I’ve been here maybe 3-4 times over the last 5 years and each time has been a great experience.

Conditions okay. Food would be very good, unfortunately only lukewarm Rösti.

I still like to go there from time to time, but lately the service has dropped quite a bit...we ate there a few weeks ago, the waiter was cheeky to the point of being rude...yesterday I complained about the service and the beer Waited around 25 minutes, even though there were only 7 people in the garden restaurant...

We were here with a larger group and had the feeling that groups weren't exactly part of Linde's core business. In total there were only 3 service staff on duty (one of whom was practically never seen) and the garden was well filled. They were friendly so far and were also available to say something, but there is definitely a different way to do it quickly. We waited probably 20 minutes just for the card. They didn't have enough of it for everyone, which wasn't a big deal because the cards were collected two minutes later without comment. Another 5 minutes later, pieces of paper came with the menu to choose from. We then waited a very long time for the starter, the main course came at a normal interval and the dessert came a little late The food itself was good. The bratwurst was nicely fried but the rösti portions seemed random and were unfortunately bland (unseasoned) All in all, a zoogenic visit with potential for improvement

The food and beer are very good, unfortunately the staff is not. For a moment you might even think that the comedians are employed here as funny waitresses...

Excellent craft beers. On two consecutive nights we were served by the same employee, who was very friendly and helpful, as if he were a friend. Prices are not high, considering the average restaurant prices in Zurich. It's just a shame that the restaurant closes relatively early.

Sadly, cannot judge the quality of the food. We were there and waited over 10min for Service getting our orders. However, service only walked by and ignored us so we left without ordering anything.The restaurant was not full.

If you are looking for a local flavor of the best food Zurich has to offer... stop in! Great value and great atmosphere!

We've wanted to come here for "forever". We didn't regret the visit. Very good cuisine, exceptionally friendly service. Particularly recommended: boiled beef.

Wasn't our (4th) evening on Friday: we waited over an hour and a half for the main course. The Linde was far from fully booked. Rösti came lukewarm, house beer was brought instead of Pilsner and the boiled meat was in a very salty, dark juice that was definitely not the brew. But we'll still come back because it was always good.

Great food. The haxn are a dream. Great beer. HAMMER beer schnapps! The staff look friendly. Miguel and his people have built a great restaurant with good home cooking! I'd love to come back.

The service staff are fast and friendly. The environment is good and the location is convenient. The food is delicious. We also brew our own beer🍻 We have to come in to dine again🌟🌟. We made a reservation in advance and they asked us to wait. The service staff was very unfriendly this time. I also ordered the wrong meal...I really don’t recommend it. 😞

Great beer!! I only leave reviews for places that leave an impression on me. The beers from the house are amazing, my favourite is the seasonal for autumn. Great service and friendly staff, the food is ok, but nor my favourite sort of food. Definitely a place to frequent for a drink (not a pub!) and a nice evening

The best food and beer in Zürich 😍

Wonderfully fine food (we had tomato salad, Züri-Geschnetzeltes with Rösti, Riz Casimir and pork cordon bleu with fries and vegetables) and extremely friendly and warm service (young, small people with a high-pitched voice). It was our first time there and I/we will definitely come again. The prices are debatable - certainly in the upper segment for a neighborhood restaurant - but you get good taste and friendly service. It was a little cold with a draft, we think this is probably due to the Corona situation and they just wanted permanent air circulation, right?
