Incredible vegetable samosas and dipping sauces

The food looks delicious, unfortunately after having eaten there twice and explicitly asking that I don't want spicy, they have made the food super spicy. This means that I cannot enjoy the food in its entirety and that I end up leaving part of my order. The waiters are very friendly. If you like spicy and Indian food this is your place, if spicy is not your thing... this is not your place.

Food: We had butter chicken and lamb madras, as well as garlic and onion aan. The garlic naan could have had a little more garlic flavor, but the butter chicken and lamb madras were excellent. These were the best butter chicken and Indian lamb dishes I've had so far. Service: Good and very friendly.

Wow! Super authentic and super delicious! This is by far the best Indian place I've ever been to. The meat is very high quality and every dish was excellent! There were also a lot of Indians in this restaurant. Clear recommendation! We had thali with meat and butter chicken 💯👍🏻

Amazing restaurant! We always go there and they have the best mango lassi in Switzerland! Today we had a birthday and they made a very beautiful desert with a candle and all on the house! 100% recommend stopping by!

It’s located in a very good central area with other restaurants and bars. Reservations are a must. The lassi was huge and quite good. We ordered the thali and it’s the most price worthy meal. Four vegetable dishes and one naan and rice some other side dishes as well. The service was quick and friendly.

Very delicious Indian food with properly spiced dishes. We tried the butter chicken and the Jheenga Goa. Pleasant environment and the service was fast. The portions were good even if they look small at first and the price matched the food quality. The waiters however can work on their interaction skills with clients.

Went out for dinner with friends, first time having Indian food in Switzerland. It was delicious, didn’t wait too long and the quality was really good. Price really fair for all the food you get. Must try if you are in Zurich

All good, but there is something better

The best Indian food in Zurich! I've tried many many other Indian restaurants here but Nothing comes even close. They have a beautiful sitting arrangement outside in the summers but in winter it gets a little clumsy inside. But I guess that’s the case everywhere.

Absolutely scrumptious Indian cuisine in a very cute area of downtown Zurich. I recommend trying out one of their Thali meals - you get to sample several different curries this way, and you also receive a Gulab Jamun. The atmosphere is peaceful. Give this a try if you enjoy Indian food. Also, let them know ahead of time if you enjoy spicy food - the hosts will have recommendations for spicy dishes!

We had a veg buffet for 19.50CHF, there were 8-9 items , all were quite delicious and authentic Indian taste.

This is a nice restaurant near the Zurich main station. The atmosphere was lively and the service was great. The food was good too. The restaurant was being renovated when I visited on 13th October, 2023 and the seating was arranged outside. The overall experience was really nice

Simple but good Indian food. Appreciate the clear distinction between vegan/vegetarian options in the menu. Unfortunately the place is too crowded, to many tables in a too narrow room, it also gets very hot. Service was good

While passing through Zurich, I made the superb discovery of this Indian restaurant. I had the “Végi” all-you-can-eat lunch buffet. There are no more than 4 Indian dishes available (so about 5 times less than on the menu) but they are homemade and delicious. To accompany the dishes, there is rice and Naans. I also had a Mango Lassi, delicious. Regarding the service, it is nice but difficult to really evaluate by taking the buffet. Just like, it is difficult for me to assess the atmosphere because I arrived at the end of the service. But I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. In any case, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Super spicy food they’ve prepared. Dish didn’t even look like what authentic item I’ve ordered. Considering cost, quantity is 2 out of 5. And yes bonus is they won’t even offer normal tap water (Now I am tourist so I don’t know if other places offers tap water or not , or it’s just trend here)

Been in Zurich a month now and have finally found the spot to satisfy my Indian food addiction ... super little spot in the centre of town. Simple interior, (building is 14 century!) but with great food and wonderfully friendly owners. I really recommend lunches here on the sunny days, they have a large outdoor terrace on the cobble stones, in front of an ancient romanesque style church.

Staff was very rude with us and other Asians, although they were being nice to western people. Food was average and overpriced. They were pushing us to finish up the food asap and leave the premises.

Food is satisfying and it has delicious Indian flavours. I tried Thali and every item in that was yumm except any Paneer ki Sabji. They have outdoor sitting as well. Food will take some time to deliver but it comes really hot and fresh. Few Indian beer options available.

Good food but very small portions.

The unexpected fish in the mixed starter plate (probably pangasius) had a musty, moldy taste, as so often happens when I get pangasius somewhere or have bought it in the past. I definitely wouldn't have ordered it. The chicken meat in the starter as well as in the butter chicken was rather tough for chicken and not as tender as butter, as you would actually expect from a good Indian dish. The pieces of meat in the Butter Chicken were sliced ​​very thinly, and the number of pieces as well as the total weight were kept to a minimum. The chicken flavor is completely lost in the tasty sauce. Unfortunately, there is probably no option to adjust the spiciness here, or at least you are not asked about it and it is simply served medium hot. The Gulab Jamun as a dessert wasn't convincing and was practically dry - I've had much better ones. When it came to the Kulfi, I was either given bad advice (don't say so) or I didn't like much of the pistachios and almonds because of the dominant mango - the one service clerk said that it was "separate" and that you don't mix it (as I understood: you had to choose the type when ordering, and I just got mango), the other person corrected and said it was all mixed together. In addition, the cream was clearly gone here. In total, it took a good 30 minutes until I finally paid and was able to leave, while the foul-smelling cream in front of me was never cleared away. But you obviously had time to flirt with the girls at the next table every now and then. The ambience is very simple.

This was excellent food! A must go. Eight of us came for dinner and ordered 6 vegetarian thalis and chicken tikka masala, and all of it was delicious!! We were so impressed as Indians who love our Indian food. All fresh items in the thali, perfectly spiced and tasty, and hot from the kitchen. And we love onions on the side, and they gave us two big plates of onions, which we never get at other restaurants. If you are in Zurich and like Indian food, you must come here!

Outstanding food. Amazing service. It was totally unexpected to find such amazing food so far away from home. The staff did a great job taking care of our needs. If you are an Indian or like Indian food then this place is for you. The guys here are amazing, friendly and hard working. The best part is cozy outside sitting area however prior reservation will help you get in; as Zurich is almost crowded all the time. Being a vegetarian we ordered Dal Makhni and Paneer..both were delicious. Dal Makhni is out of the world. Also tomato soup is amazing. Naan is super soft. I would recommend onion and garlic Naan. Paneer also good. I literally want to give 10 stars but Google allows only 5.

Really nice and tasty indian food, specially when you see so called "Indian" restaurants in all over Europe, serving tasteless and spiceless food. Should definitely try once when you are in town. Being vegetarian, we ordered kadhai paneer and rotis and the spices were quite balanced almost authentic indian taste. Loved it.

We dined here on a Mon evening. Reservations are a must! All meet is HALAL! The food is DELICIOUS! The vibe was great. We dined outdoors. The inside was way too warm for summer! The service can be faster since we waited for quite a long time. The place is also being run by young individuals who don’t seem to be as experienced. Overall would come again! Please bring good company to dine here!
