L'instant in Genève

Very pleasant terrace and friendly service. The setting inside is pretty. Cold tea good. On the other hand, the food is really disappointing. A croque-monsieur whose bread remains soft after cooking. And the Nordic salad: unripe mango and avocado, no seasoning in the salad. I had to make it myself with the oil and vinegar they brought me. When you charge 21.- for a salad, the least you can do is offer a homemade vinaigrette. Otherwise, you can eat iceberg salad plain and with the mini pieces of salmon that accompany it at home! Really a shame because the place has potential, but the food is uninteresting and bland. So to have a drink willingly, but no more!

A great find, originally found it to store my luggage. My bus was delayed and it was not a problem to prolong the storage. I went back early to get some food, they new I was getting a bus so offered dine in or take away. I ate in the food was great had a panini that was served with a lovely unexpected side salad and a local fresh lemonade. So good a stayed for a delicious carrot cake and coffee. Very reasonable for Geneva, good location and very friendly staff. The only reason for 4 stars for atmosphere was I was (unfortunately for them) the only customer. But the staff were very chatty and made me feel very welcome. Definitely try this place.

An amazing place! homemade, the best quality price ratio, between the train station and the bus station of Geneva. They also offer a very useful service: they can storage your luggage thanks to a partnership they have with Radical storage. The bosses are super friendly, I totally advice this place! Cherry on the cake: they have a lovely terrasse full of plants, where you can enjoy the sun! Go to l'instant, you won't be disappointed!

I went in wanting to experience a new place. The interior was pretty but the smell was horrible. It smelled like cat food. I quickly left. Too bad I wouldn't have had the chance to taste their pastry.

This is a relatively new food place which is a real family run restaurant headed by David. Amongst the food and snacks they offer a Swiss Hot Dog, complete with saucisse de veau, Swiss cheese and mustard. As a new place I would recommend trying it and not just for the hot dogs, the deserts look like wonderful treats as well.
