Luigia in Nyon

For starters we ordered a carpaccio, it was very tasty and fresh, for the main course I ordered spaghetti with pesto which was simply DELICIOUS, al dente with a unique flavor... my boyfriend ordered a pizza, and a glass of wine to accompany it. Quick and attentive service from everyone in the restaurant. We didn't order dessert because the food was sufficient, but on the menu I saw several delicious desserts of different varieties. I highly recommend it.

Cold welcome when we arrived, the service was very slow (we had reserved for 12:30 p.m. and our dishes arrived at 1:50 p.m.). The food was still very good, as usual at Luigia. We still had a good time, but the atmosphere and the service are much more pleasant at the Sion restaurant.

Horrible welcome. We arrived followed by a couple then another. The waitress didn't calculate, gave them a kiss and went to place them before us even though we had arrived well before. She didn't look at us once. And when we pointed this out to him, his attitude was very unprofessional. Arrogant. But fortunately it was not this person who served us, very pleasant waiters and excellent food! Fortunately !

If I could have done it, at least I would have done it! Impossible to book by phone, and unable to test! 50 minutes of waiting to stay at the entrance waiting for the table without the possibility of having a drink or strolling around the city (they do not take any reservations) plus the person who answered us was unfriendly and vulgar, for staying polite ! I don't like this place again and advise you to go elsewhere where the customer is received with courtesy!

Good food. Many Choice of pizza and other italian. Since moving to the area, this has been our go-to place. We as a family love the options they offer,and it is great that they are open on a Sunday and the parking is free

Dinner for 6 with colleagues, food, wine (Primitivo), service were excellent. I had Bruschetta, Mozzarella and Rice Balls + Baby Squids - pure joy. Thanks for adding the reservation option, not being able to reserve a table was a reason for me not come more often in the past - obviously management is listening to their customers.

Avoid at all costs, it's a noisy and super expensive factory... And sometimes, if you're lucky, the dish will be tasty... thanks to the pizza maker... as for the chef, a haughty, arrogant Italian whose know-how remained there at the bottom of the tricolor boot!! I recommend the green cross in Nyon

Good meal. Express service, almost stressful. There was very little waiting between ordering and entry. And also between the starter and the main course, so that we still had plenty in our mouths. But quite honestly, the meal was good. And the toilets, rather clean for a public place.

We thought maybe it was a hidden camera but we're still looking for it: - Checkout, 3 coffees on the bill even though we ordered NONE. I make the remark to the waiter, he makes another addition without the slightest apology and avoiding meeting my eyes. - Surprising, almost lunar welcome. 3 waiters at reception stare at us in silence without welcoming us. The other customers who are also waiting seem embarrassed to us. - We were served by 5 different servers... - Focaccia which looks like pizza dough - We were very cold but that's subjective - A waiter played Christmas music with the click of his pen behind us Nyon will not come back, nyon nyon nyon...

Very beautiful and captivating setting but quite a bit of noise sometimes difficult to hear, the waiters talk a lot among themselves and are often on their phones, on the kitchen side nothing to complain about the food is delicious everything is perfectly crafted and tasty. Little advice to all fans of little corners of Italy to go to this address.

Everything is perfect. Excellent food, lovely and smiling staff. Dogs are welcome, which is very important to me. On the other hand, it is expensive...

The aperitif (Kir) was more lemonade than cassis with white wine. The waiter reacted annoyed to my complaint.

Used to be a good restaurant but quality has decreased noticeably. Before writing this I took time to read last months reviews to check if I was the only one with the same feeling and our experience was just isolated. Sadly seems is not the case. Except for the pizza , the other food from the menu we ordered was tasteless. Calamari and muzzarella sticks where cold and not properly cooked. The cottoleta was 1cm thick, tasteless and undercooked too. As always, Staff was friendly and respectful. Only quality of food is the issue, significantly lower than Geneva restaurant which I regularly go.

Frankly disappointed! We were received by what appears to be the manager (a tall guy with a denim jacket). We had to wait 20 minutes before he spoke to us. During our waiting time, we were able to observe with amazement the way this employee treated customers. Insult in Italian, sigh, contemptuous looks. He even started banging on the Plexiglas window at the counter during a customer's call...frankly, I clearly don't recommend the Luigia experience with someone so unprofessional.

Despise indication to add cuttlery, it was not there. Am i supposed with my hands?! The uber eats driver out an extra 30min for 1mile delivery (arrived at 1351 instead of 1322) - food arrived cold; while the latter is rather Uber's fault and not Luigia's one, it contributed to the totally awful experience.

Declining quality and quantity… Before the plates were beautiful and tasty, yesterday small and nothing very tasty! Damage And what's more, at the end of the meal I was still hungry. Plus the stupid QR card system! Basta!

We had reserved a table and were 15 minutes late! When we arrived we were informed that our table had been given to other customers! They didn't even call us to ask where we were. Unprofessional and friendly. We will no longer go to this restaurant chain

It's a shame. The food is quite good, the setting is quite nice, the waiters are generally nice... But the room manager has an execrable attitude: does not smile, arrogant, allows himself to mumble profanities in Italian when paying and gestures abrupt despite the fact that there are small children nearby. It's a shame.

I have traveled to several countries and the pizza and tiramisù are the best I have ever tasted. Behind this exceptional taste quality, a desperate search for taste and harmony by lovers of Italian cuisine, but also the love of others, because I can tell you that Luiga will never make fun of you. It's good every time and we've been going there for 5 years. My only regret is sometimes going elsewhere thinking I will find better. Unfortunately for the competitors, Lugia remains the best Italian within 100 km at this price level. As for the team, we have top-notch Italian service. Of all the restaurants, this is the one where we are served the quickest. Incredible consistency. A well-deserved 5 star.

As a native italian I feel assaulted. I had to wait 50 minutes and when I final got my good my spaghettis were cut and overcooked. Finally I got full pieced when I entered then 200 to the head.

I recently ate a seafood pizza at Luigia in Nyon. This wasn't on the menu, but the waiter told me it was possible, so nice so far. But the bill, a little less than CHF 42.50, for a seafood pizza, I think is more than a steal. Sorry for this negative review, but it is very exaggerated and the waiter did not inform me of the price when ordering, otherwise I would have taken something else.

What a surprise ! The best Italian restaurant in the region, extremely varied cuisine, a fantastic menu, a very pleasant atmosphere, fresh produce. Bravo and long life to Luigia! I know where to eat in Nyon now.

Order once from them and receive a false order from A to Z I find it cheeky compared to the price it costs

I take this opportunity to go to Luigia for any occasion! A professional lunch, an evening with friends or a family lunch! It's definitely my favorite restaurant! All the staff are exquisitely kind, the food is excellent and if we make a small request they adopt the motto "your every wish is an order". I feel at ease every time I go there, welcomed and almost like family! Even my girls love it, everyone is always happy and smiling! Keep it up guys, you are strong!!!

Changed my mind - expensive and quite tasteless, this place has gone way down hill

You have to order from the menu on your phone which is the most tedious menu to read and understand ever. Pizza wasn't all right. The decor is lovely.

I love the unique twists on delicious Italian recipes Luigia offers. They also have efficient and very professional staff. Highly recommend.

Excellent place for a family meal with the option of a children's cinema, to keep people waiting (the service is very fast and friendly)! We'll come back.

DISAPPOINTED WITH THE WELCOME! Arrival they tell us a wait of 25 minutes. We clearly understood from talking to other customers in the queue that there were reservations that came first. There were 3 of us and 3 girls behind us went before us even though they had not booked and were also on the waiting list. Finally after 1h30 of waiting we have a table... we just make a simple remark then the guy who places people at the table responds badly to us by saying that he only followed the list when he clearly did a mistake... no apology, no gesture, and a more than disrespectful tone. My friend tells him once we're at the table that he could have at least apologized for the misunderstanding and for the wait and he replies that he didn't do anything "wrong". She retorts that during the wait we saw on Google reviews that they don't care about their customers and he replies "Okay ma'am, we don't care" with a sarcastic tone then turns on his heel. Easily the best pizza in Nyon. It really does taste like it does in Italy. Try their Margherita - so simple yet so delicious. They have a super nice terrace situated on a pedestrian street for eating outside.

I've been coming here for years as Luigia is always reliably very good. I think it is the best pizza in the area. It's a really busy restaurant at all times, but it runs like a well oiled machine with staff always quick and helpful. The best thing though is how child friendly it is, which is why it is a staple for us and so many other families - the TV room for the kids really helps!

Really sorry to give such a poor score, not like me, but having been to the one in Zurich and the one in Geneva, I was expecting something even better, more cozy, with a warm welcome given the size. Unfortunately, although the quality of the pizzas was excellent, the service was terrible and arrogant. In addition, my wife threw up her vitello tonnato whose sauce must have expired... and to conclude, when it came time to pay, I was given a bill twice as high as the one we had to pay. This without excuse. I complained politely but firmly to the manager who seemed to have nothing to worry about given the success of his establishment. Without a formal apology from them, I can't even imagine removing this comment!!!

Gas factory / packed like sardines that are squeezed to free up the table / overrated place for expats… exorbitant prices and as a bonus unfriendly service… stuffy pizza without finesse… to avoid!!! lots of other pizzerias in Nyon with a real warm Italian welcome!

Always good food and friendly staff. Also a good kids menu and a little kids corner. Easy parking in the large Nyon outdoor carpark which is also free if you arrive after 6pm.

If you are looking for an Italian restaurant with excellent value for money, I recommend Luigia! I tested the one at the Confederation Center in Geneva (lunch) and the one in Nyon (in the evening): the quality is always there with efficient and fast service and the opportunity to dine late because there are several services, which is really appreciated!

Everything and very good! Efficient service and for a family meal it is important. Don't expect to be received like at home, it's true that it's big and everything fits together but what more can you ask for if the food is good? A little effort could be made on the ventilation, it's a little hot under the veranda! We are fans of pizza and I recommend this establishment with pleasure. Free parking in the evening 5 minutes away.

I had already eaten at Luigia several times, and it was not bad. During each of my visits, the quality seems to deteriorate. The portions are getting smaller and the taste leaves something to be desired.

Large and nice place, great variety of very good Neapolitan pizza, with quality ingredients, friendly and helpful staff!

Luigia is definitely the best pizza place in Nyon, well located with menu that goes beyond pizza and with nice cocktails and food options. Two parks around, and close to Nyon train station, well located and easy to access. They don’t accept reservations but usually you find a table, in the summer stay outside to enjoy the weather.

They are quick to serve you a drink and then more than 1 hour of waiting.. to end up with very average spaghetti vongole and uninteresting Sardinian gnocchi.. and it's expensive.. we won't come back.

This is already the second time we have ordered through Ubereats and the order is wrong. We asked for extra mushrooms, the pizza arrived without mushrooms. Once we call Luigia they question our honesty and then offer to make us the pizza again but we have to manage to come and get it. Bad faith and unpleasant. It's a shame for such good pizzas.

Top top, quality at the rendezvous. No reservation possible. Prices a little higher than in other ITA restaurants but we get what we pay for. I was a devoted customer at this restaurant, however, it is sad to say today was my last time. I had to beg for ice (in summer), the portion of pizza ‘petals’ have been reduced to a starter size, but the price -50chf- remains unchanged, the beef carpaccio doesn’t come with parmigiano cheese - or was forgotten-, … and the worst by far is the attitude and denial of an objective customer feedback. The quality gone, this was a great restaurant but today is not worth it at all…with so many other Italian options in town. Sad to say, but Luigia lost it. I will never come back again, and I strongle recommend you not to go to avoid disapointment

Despite the quality food, fortunately at this price level the welcome and attitude of some servers leaves you speechless. This is not worthy of Italy. A superior air, a cash machine without soul or attention. Apparently many of us think so, no wonder!

The Luigia factory! So, yes it's good, nothing to complain about, but still... 30 chf per Pizza is perhaps slightly disproportionate. Anything else, yeast, dough fermentation? Each time I suffer from digestive problems, I have no intolerance. Luigia will be over for me.

Impossible to have a drink on the terrace at a high table, because they do not serve the bar in the evening.

I'm really disappointed with the service this evening, I waited 1 hour for a take-out order. No commercial gesture to apologize when I was not even warned that the wait was going to be long. It is not because the restaurant is successful that it should not have respect for the customer. I won't come back again.
