Great Spanish food - the paella was outstanding!! The restaurant is small and therefore it can be very noisy. Service was 1a! I'd love to come back.

Very fine delicacies. From the grilled fish platter 🐟 to the paella marinera 🇪🇸 and the various desserts such as the tiramisu or the crema catalana - a real culinary delight. Friendly and courteous service. See you soon 👋

The food is average, but the prices are disappointing. Even their “house specialties” were not convincing. The service is friendly and makes an effort. I will most certainly not visit this restaurant again.

The service is very nice and the food is amazing

It was the worst restaurant I have been to in my 32 years of life. The soup was awful; both my girlfriend and I ordered the soup, but upon leaving the soups practically untouched, they just said, "It has an unusual taste." More like "it is what it is." Then, we ordered Paella for the main course. It tasted like nothing – even tap water has more flavor. We stopped eating after 2-3 minutes because we couldn’t give it any taste, even with a lot of salt and pepper. I called the waiter, told him it tasted awful, and requested to pay so that we could leave. The waiter brought the check, saying, "There are ways and ways to talk about food. There are people who are hungry!" This was his response to me saying the food is tasteless. You be the judge. I am not a picky restaurant-goer, but I expect my food to taste better than tap water, and my service to not respond to “the food is awful” with "there are people who are hungry." Positive: A great Spanish singer/guitar player.

Top restaurant. Very good food & very friendly staff.

We were here for dinner for the first time. Very small restaurant. Accordingly, when it was full, it was a little too loud to speak normally. The food was very good. The selection of red wine is large, but also exorbitantly expensive. I find the triple purchase price a bit cheeky!! The price per gram of truffles is also abnormally high. The service was friendly and attentive. Certainly a high-priced restaurant. Let's see if we come back...

Attentive and friendly staff: Extra requests are no problem, nice, well-kept atmosphere, very large salad portions fresh and crunchy, meat and vegetables perfectly prepared, dishes from neighboring tables also look extremely delicate! Happy to come back👍!

Quality and quantity are not right in this restaurant. Didn't feel like I was allowed to dine in a Spanish atmosphere. The good location of the house saves the lack of quality for the high price.

The first time I visit this restaurant, frankly, I liked it very much. They have very delicious seafood grills, and you should visit this place. Frankly, it is the first time I visit this restaurant, but I will also come here again, and their treatment is good.😋🤩

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a very disappointing experience. The service was exceptionally slow; we waited over an hour for our food to arrive. To make matters worse, the waiter was quite rude and lacked basic courtesy, failing to apologize for the long wait. Overall, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I cannot recommend this place. It felt more like a tourist trap than a quality dining establishment. Definitely not worth the visit

Delicious Food not only from Spain. However, there are 3 problems with this place. 1. It's very loud inside, so if you are looking for a place where you can have a date or decent conversation with friends/family - forget about it. 2. Service is friendly and helpful but veeeeeeery slow. We had starter and main dish and took it more than 2hours. 3. Prices are way to high. Food is awsome, but overall experience is just not worth over 100chf per person (starter, main dish, water and 1 bottle of wine shared among 3 people). I will recommend to come during summer - they have tables outside.

Marvellous. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I’ll come definitely back as soon as possible.

The Madrid restaurant is definitely recommended. In particular, your fish plate with saffron rice and the Gambas al Ajillo as a starter are divine and highly recommended. If you are still hungry afterwards, you should definitely order the Crema Catalana. The service and reception is always very familiar and men/women almost feel at home

Thanks to the run-up to Christmas, the restaurant was very full and therefore a bit noisy inside. The staff was still very nice and attentive. We chose paella with seafood as our main course and can happily recommend it. The kitchen worked very well despite the many guests

A nice Spanish restaurant with classics like paella and ham complemented by a number of more neutral dishes like steak or schnitzel. The food and service were fine but I thought the cost too steep for the value proposition.

It was with anticipation that we made our way to the Madrid restaurant in Zurich. Unfortunately, our experience was very mixed if not downright bad. The quantity of tapas ordered was manageable for the price, and the taste of the starters was so poor that certain starters were returned. The main course was ok, but it wasn't a treat either. Finally, we were allowed to calculate the prices per person ourselves, which apparently isn't part of the service! You ask yourself why you go to a restaurant. The selection of vegetarian dishes wasn't particularly large for me, so paella requires two people to be present. The logic is debatable.

The food and service are always excellent here. You're happy to pay a little more. We come often, especially in summer; it is very cozy and quiet outside.

My husband, and I traveled across Europe and near the end of our travels, we visited the Madrid restaurant on a recommendation. It was absolutely one of the best meals we had during our European trip. I highly recommend it.

All in all good but no longer great. Price/performance is not justified - too expensive.

I like to eat in Madrid with my partner. The two younger service employees seem a little untrained, but they are still “always” friendly, polite and try to do their best. The garlic cream soup is mandatory for me <3

We went there for dinner yesterday with my brother and sister-in-law. We could even eat outside. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. The food was fine and beautifully presented. With four people, the tables are a bit small and there is almost no space for all the glasses, plates, etc. and it would be nice to have cushions on the chairs, which are a bit uncomfortable if you sit for a long time. But we enjoyed the evening and will definitely come back

Very cozy restaurant in the middle of the old town of Zurich, you feel comfortable here, the food is excellent, I have rarely eaten so well, for example beef fillet fried to perfection or veal liver with rösti, everything is really right here.

We had a great evening with wonderful food. The paella was good and the service was very friendly. As a wine enthusiast, I would have liked the vintages to be declared - I then decided on beer.

The food looks like it comes from a factory and has absolutely no wow effect for a hefty price. Paella made from semi-frozen seafood and second-rate meat with no attention to detail or spices. Small restaurant in the old section of the city. We sat outside in the street under sun umbrellas. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was good and not expensive.

Did dinner here and had the veal with lemon sauce. The food was ok, but it didn't "wow" me. The sauce was creamier than I prefer and didn't seem to have much lemon in it. My waiter was great and the wine he suggested was a great match for the meal. Espresso at the end of the meal was very good. Restaurant was just a block off the main path, so it was rather quiet and relaxing while I ate outside. Would go back, but would try a different meal.

Unfortunately it was too overpriced. The food was nothing special and you don't really get full. Unfortunately there is also someone in the service who isn't really friendly

The restaurant itself isn’t bad and the food smelt delicious, however, we were waiting 50 minutes from the moment we were seated (with a reservation in advance) and no one came to take our order. We even asked for someone to come at the 30 minute mark only to wait a further 20 minutes with waiters passing by our table every few minutes and ignoring us. The worst service I’ve had to-date in Zürich.

Amazing food! We ordered 2 tapas (prawn and mushrooms) and a main dish with 2 more sides (grilled veggies and spinach). Loved every bite, everything tasted fresh and made with love. The service was great too and definitely recommend!

The waiters are incredibly nice and will sell you expensive side dishes that you can't possibly finish. There is no comment “you can also share that”.

Upmarket and very fancy. Wide selection of traditional Spanish food. The fish is a bit over oiled however it is still very tasty. Would recommend for the class and ambiance.

What an amazing first time experience here! This place truly understands hospitality that is hard to find these days. Food was delicious and the wine recommendation spot on. Furthermore, the waiter brought the right amount of humor to the table which only added to the outstanding experience. Could not fault this place and I am very picky! I will be back on my next visit to Switzerland.. for sure!

We had a very good evening there, the dishes were plentiful, especially the paella to share.

The place is nice enough and the staff were also professional. The Tempranillo we had was also good. That said, had a very underwhelming experience here. Ordered Safran as well as White Wine Risotto, Mozzarella Salad and lamb chops. The Safran risotto had hair in it and the lamb chop I ordered as medium-rare came rare. The waiter quickly acknowledged that it was rare and took it however that meant they just put it back in the stove for some more minutes and brought back and it tasted quite stale and bad at that point. The mozzarella salad was also bland. This restaurant would sit in mid/high on the price scale and I don’t think the results reflect that.

This was our first time in Madrid and we will definitely be back. We were greeted very friendly. The service was very attentive & the food was simply amazing. There was a tortilla as a greeting from the kitchen. As a starter we had prawns & pimentos, the main course was a salt-coated beef fillet with grilled vegetables and saffron risotto. We just have to go again so I can take a photo of the beef fillet in a salt coating. Thank you very much for the fine food and the great service, we look forward to the next time. A Spanish restaurant in Zurich where you eat really well. Very friendly staff and well cooked dishes. Of course, the prices are high for a Spaniard.

Amazing food, great atmosphere. Lirim took care of us and it went off without a hitch. If you’re interested in eating and drinking well, plus having a cozy and incredibly friendly atmosphere, then stop by Madrid. You won’t regret it.

My absolutely favorite restaurant in Zurich Niederdorf. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The Spanish food is very delicious and high quality. In the cozy and familiar atmosphere, I like to eat the prawns in garlic. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants something delicious on their plate.

There is a mismatch between the prices and the quality of the food. The food is good, but not worth the eye-watering prices. For the same prices., you can dine at much nicer restaurants in Zurich.

This is my 2nd time in the restaurant. We had the prawn and squid for appetizers, both great taste! Then the house special paella was superb! Rice was cooked just right, mixing all the delicious factors from seafood, the meats and seafood tasted just as a feast. Also, our server, Lirim, provided a pretty welcoming service. Stronly recommend this restaurant. Don't forget to make reservations.
