Very pleasant little “coffeeroom”. In addition to the typical Italian pastries, the excellent ristretto and the very welcoming staff, we take a direct trip to the heart of Palermo with the family and we forget that we are in Geneva.

Excellent food but really poor customer relations and expensive (20 bucks for a sandwich). Staff not welcoming guests, never seen a smile on their faces. When we give them a feedback on anything, they become agressive and feel attacked, poor them ! :)) And now since they are not happy with what I said, they kindly ask me to delete the comment hahahaahah, a joke !

Very good family-run Italian grocery store. Large selection of homemade daily specials, always pleasant and smiling welcome. Very good tiramisu and generous! A great address in Geneva for lunch break

My go-to place for lunch. Salads, pastas, and paninis are tasty and fresh. Owners are very friendly. Highly recommend.

The Mafalda is a real Italian break in the heart of Geneva... I simply enjoyed the eggplant Parmegiana and the Tiramisu was to die for... A big congratulations to Fabrizio who is exceptionally kind. A chef who is passionate about his profession and who makes us feel it through all the flavors he offers... I recommend this address 1000 times to all lovers of Italy and elsewhere.

The place is very pretty. The staff is very pleasant. We feel like we're in Italy. The food is very good and the pizzas (only on Saturdays) are a real delight! I highly recommend this establishment.

The best place for lunch in the Bergues district. Very friendly and smiling team and the food is delicious. There is something for everyone: typical Italian dishes (lasagna, pasta, etc.), magnificent desserts, paninis, salads. Everything is excellent and fresh daily. The choice of food changes every day - you can go every day and eat something different. And all this for really reasonable prices.

So good, the canoli and sfogliatelle Napoletane are just excellent. What a pleasure to rediscover the flavors of Southern Italy.

Delicious in addition to very pleasant service

Italian food. The portions are very generous and it is clear that it is not pre-cooked food. The Sicilian waiter who served us was super nice. We ordered the eggplant lasagna (spectacular) and some macaroni carbonara from an Italian recipe and for dessert a delicious and huge tiramisu. The two main dishes cost us 36 CHF (18CHF each) and 8CHF for the tiramisu.

We went on a Saturday lunch: most of the options on the menu were not available, prices very untransparent and (as we found out at the end) extremely high, food of decent quality but definitely not worth the cost

We were there for a Saturday lunch. The majority of the menu' was not available. We took 2 focacce and some salad. Food was ok, nothing really special, but what striked us is the lack of transparency in pricing the items. For what we ate, and for its quality, price was clearly and largely inflated. Again, probably was a bad day to go there and during weekdays the place is better (we also didn't try coffee and sweets), but we didn't have a great impression of the place.

A tiny place, with a very large trinacria-shaped heart. The owners are Sicilian, kind, affectionate and thoughtful. The hood is a spectacle as are the freshly filled croissants.

Mafalda is a magnificent place in the center of Geneva to taste the house specialties of southern Italy. In addition, the welcome is very warm and friendly, each time I introduce this restaurant/bar to friends, they are never disappointed.

It feels like being in Italy. The owner is a wonderful person, welcoming and kind. The food is delicious: you can find both salty and sweet sicilian specialities, made fresh every single day. It is an unique opportunity to have a taste of such a fantastic and rich cousine in Geneva. It's quite a small place, so don't expect to have a seat there (there are just a couple of tables). Overall, I had a great experience!
