This is the only reataurant serving authentic indian food in interlaken, tried 2-3 more restaurants but none serves authentic indian taste. The price is also reasonable than others. Try their gobhi and mooli prantha, tastes just like home made.

Here I get lots of vegetarian option great ambeince delicious food nice staff.

Don’t order any meat items here. 34 swiss francs for “tandoori platter” which came with only 2 leg pieces. Chicken was atleast a week old, totally dry and reheated. Fish was also stale and smelly. Their prices are outrageous. A definite tourist trap. Avoid if you can.

Excellent food and host as well. Goldie was very helpful. Food and variety was very well suggested and the quantity was sizeable. We went back again for our second meal during our stay. It is authentic Indian food unlike some around the place I would recommend it without a second thought. Lamb dishes were great. Has a vegetarian option next doors

During my visit last month, I had an opportunity to dine at this Indian restaurant. The food was awesome and delicious. The staff was also attentive and polite. Overall I had a great evening enjoying some mouthwatering dishes.

We went for Dinner at this place following positive reviews on Google but disappointing experience. Curries and Biryani were okay, lacking flavor but the worst part was the breads were frozen and not freshly made. That put me off completely from this place. Moreover the customer service needs an improvement especially from the manager/owner.

Authentic Indian taste. The naan might not taste exactly as you get in India, but daal Makhani and rice was really good.

The owner was very nice & tried his best to accommodate our needs. He personally took care of us & served himself. We ordered paneer chilli, panipuri & chicken tikka. However, we didn’t like the taste of the food at all. We were informed by the owner that tandoor wasn’t allowed & hence the taste. Place is nice but we personally didn’t like food. However, the owner was kind enough to cancel the chicken tikka from our bill.

Delhi Darbar is best in the Interlaken. The food was scrumptious , the quality the taste everything was world class..Hosts are very kind n amicable as well..beautiful n cozy ambience.. quick service..we had wonderful dining experience there. Every Indian must go to this restaurant whenever they come to Interlaken.!! This is a must visit one indeed!!

Terrible food. Don’t recommend at all. We got the butter chicken and paneer bhurji. Butter chicken tasted and smelled like boiled chicken dumped in tomato soup. The salad was better than the rest of the food. We had high expectations :(

This is the best restaurant in Interlaken, by far the best dinner I had in this restaurant, they have lots of vegetarian options in their menu with combo deals which is worth as per pricing deal, fully recommended to try atleast once for sure

Despite initially being drawn by positive Google reviews, our lunch experience at this establishment left us feeling disappointed. The staff exhibited carelessness and unprofessionalism, making it difficult to recommend this place unless there are no other Indian restaurants available in the vicinity. While the atmosphere and location were pleasant, the actual dining experience fell short. We ordered the Kadhai paneer, yellow dal, and dal makhni combo, along with lassi and masala Chaanch as our beverages. Initially, we were served one less rice plate with the explanation that rice was complimentary and would be provided later to prevent wastage. However, when we received our food, we found the portion size did not justify the price. The dal lacked flavor and was unappetizing, while the Kadhai paneer tasted less than fresh. Naans are not fresh. The service was notably subpar; during our meal, the waiter failed to check on us, and my wife had to approach the restaurant owner to request the rice plate. The unprofessionalism continued when we received the bill. We discovered an erroneous charge for the rice plate. Upon bringing this to their attention, the restaurant owner shifted blame to the waiter, displaying a casual attitude. We assumed it was a simple mistake and proceeded to pay the bill. However, our ordeal didn't end there. After making the payment, we noticed an unauthorized charge of 50 euros on our card, exceeding the bill amount. When we confronted the owner, he nonchalantly canceled the previous bill and assured us the amount would be refunded, without any apologetic tone. He attributed this error to a customer who had inquired about a prayer room, further highlighting the establishment's lackadaisical approach. It appears that the restaurant owner may be relying on the location's appeal rather than providing excellent service and quality food to customers, leaving us with an impression of arrogance overshadowing the overall experience.

Eating at this restaurant is like having lunch at your own home. The quality of food is at par. Being away from home, I have my lunch here daily. Loved this place.

I was there with my family last week during our vacation in Interlaken. The staff were very friendly, polite, cooperative and flexible to meet certain special food requirements that we had. The food was very good. It was not only the food but also the calm, homely atmosphere for which we dined there 2 consecutive days. I can only highly recommend this restaurant. I wish the restaurant staff all the best.

Great indian food overall and appears to be authentic. They have set menus to choose from, where the mains are accompanied by rice, naan and a salad. We ordered the rajma masala and dhaal which were both great. The portions itself (particularly for the rajma) could have been a bit more generous but we didn't leave hungry given the set menu situation we shared the dhaal to finish the rice and naan that were left. It is the only Indian restaurant we went to in the area so can't compare but think this is a solid choice. The pricing felt a little high (especially for the starters) but seems in line with other restaurants in the area albeit expensive vs. Eating Indian food in other countries.

Decent Indian food with excellent service at a central location in Interlaken. We tried the Chicken tikka masala and daal makhani. Both dishes came with one bread and some rice complimentary which was nice. The food tasted decently good and we had a nice meal.

Food quality, service and atmosphere- Ok. The only challenge, we faced was the getting a table to sit with long waiting times as the restaurant is in prime location „directly opposite allstadt parking“ which makes it easily accessible to many people. Try calling them to confirm waiting times in peak evening hours

Amazing resturant, authentic food and amazing service

Good halal food in a very good setting - beautiful scenery, para-gliders landing right in front of you, and when we visited, perfect weather to sit outside in shade. The few dishes we tried were all very tasty. Prices were slightly higher but given the part of town, it wasn't unexpected. #halal

ONLY TRUE INDIAN RESTAURANT IN INTERLAKEN! This is the only place that serves authentic Indian food and not Pakistani Bangladeshi or Sri Lankan food marauding as Indian, that food is not Indian. My wife and I walked-into this place almost before closing around 11 pm and yet the owner, who was busy as hell working & running around along with his employees in a super touristy town like Interlaken, greeted us with a genuinely heart warming smile after what must’ve been a full tiring day, welcomed us, talked to us and explained things and worked with us with the menu to make sure he got us what we wanted. This place deserved a 5 star even before we ate. But after eating this place deserves a 6 star rating out of 5. Highly recommended! Their buttermilk is the best on the planet!

I came here with my family, give order and the member of team even forget my order. After 45 minutes I asked where is my order and the team forget my order. Now waiting after 1 hour i,m going to an other restaurant to eat some thing else. I hope not agian an Indian restaurant.

I belive polish indian couple doing really good job and work so hard to get fulfilment in terms of service. Food is fresh and delicious. I am here in swiss since 6 days but never had better indian food that this, I had chicken Tikka Masala and wife had Dal Makni set menu. It's best place to have food and watch Yash Rash status which is just 5 mins walk from there.

Very friendly and accommodating Indian restaurant with authentic food. We found the set menus worked out to be a more affordable way to eat in Interlaken and whilst there were set menus the staff were more than happy to try and accommodate us.

Food was great, and so was the ambience. If you're craving biryani, this is definitely THE place.
