We enjoyed the brewery during the day. Food of good quality and in good quantity and above all fresh and local products. A menu of the day, the "hits" is at a frankly affordable price and with a loyalty card, the 11th menu is free. Babies are welcome and baby chairs are available. It is best to reserve, especially during Christmas or holiday periods. The location is perfect, on the market square and a 2-minute walk from Place Pury where most buses depart, particularly for the railway station.

Beautiful restaurant. Great service. Food was lovely. Had beef tartar starter which was excellent. The burger was beautiful, cooked very well and the fried egg was a nice addition. Well worth a visit.

The room is poorly soundproofed and we really had difficulty understanding each other.

Fantastically good and friendly staff. We appreciated the recommendations on local dishes. The perch was delicious, the sausage and the potato gratin as well. The dessert of frozen sabayonne and berry mousse was a perfect ending.

The food has an average taste. They serve international dishes that are popular with tourists, such as hamburgers, pizza, and pasta. Their prices are on average, but the value of the food is less. You need to make a reservation. I guarantee you.

I rate this restaurant as my favorite restaurant! The perch fillets are absolutely delicious, like everything else. Very friendly and very efficient service. For me everything is perfect.

The service was one of the best we had in a while. Our service (young lady with brown hair) was friendly, courteous and very competent. The food was also good, especially the appetizers. Good spot for a dinner in Neuchâtel. We would come again :)

Super interesting meal of the day in terms of quality and price (it's good, it's fresh!). Lots of choice on the menu, it's really good (everyone can eat what they like, from pizza to Neuchâtel sausage). Two or three constructive remarks: I find that the quantity is not always "top" (it depends a lot on the dishes) and the cocktail menu is frankly very short (no mojito, for example). Finally, they don't play enough on the fact that it is a historic building (why not put a little of the history of the building on the map, etc.). Afterwards, I find it quite incredible that such an establishment is closed two days a week...

You better watch out, don't let the old lady serve you! As a young family including a sleeping baby, we didn't feel welcome. Hospitality was a foreign word 👎

A small stop for coffee, with seating in the outdoor garden. -MINUS: long waiting time (at the time of an almost half-empty business) ÷PLUS: La Café 5 sens.

My husband, my 8 month old son and I went to eat to celebrate Easter. We arrived at 12:15 p.m. the young waitress took our drink order and then served us our drinks. She didn't give us the cards, we thought she was waiting for me to finish giving my son's bottle but no because when I finished giving her she looked at us but didn't bring us the card in the end we ended up asked the manager to give us the cards after 5 - 10 minutes. The young waitress came back to us and took our order. I told her that we were taking twice the fresh salmon as a starter and as a main course, 1 x the lamb and 1 x the chicken curry. After 30 minutes she comes back with 2 hot plates. I tell her we didn't order that, we have 2 x salmon which we still haven't received. She comes back to us and tells us the order has not been placed. We reordered my husband took the time to explain to him what we wanted while I took care of my son who was starting to fidget because after an hour and a half we still haven't eaten anything, it's been way too long to him and for us of course. She took the order and 10 minutes later we had our starters. In the meantime, fortunately the boss has apologized to my husband. The rest of the order arrived quite quickly. On the other hand, we were very disappointed with several things. The professionalism of the waitress who I think does not know how to do certain things (note orders in the system) and I think it is true because she told me so when leaving. This poses problems later because it is the customer who pays for his lack of knowledge. There was also the fact that she took away our cutlery when we still had a starter that we hadn't yet been served. And she puts a fish dish for me when I haven't ordered fish. Finally, a lot of false notes that mean we won't come back. And I also find it not so simple that we were not offered at least our cokes on a bill of 140.- to apologize on the one hand for the wait but above all for the errors of their waitress. Anyway, I thought I would have a good Easter Sunday and not at all. It really wasn't a good experience. We will no longer return to this restaurant even though we come very often.

Restaurant where you always eat well with good quality traditional dishes (meat, fish, pasta, burgers, etc.). I found the meat very tender every time I came there. Super nice on Saturday after the market with a well-located terrace. Very friendly service: we see that there is a regular clientele. Booking is recommended.

It was one of the best restaurants in the region. impeccable service. traditional cuisine that deserves an update. The menu hasn't changed for a long time, the vegetables served are not in season and perhaps not even from the region, they are always the same; ratatouille, tomatoes, zucchini, carrots

Very good food, pleasant place, not too noisy despite the crowds. The prices are low average for Switzerland, I highly recommend the menus and desserts! On the other hand, we were surprised (shocked) by the service. Indeed, we noticed that the lady of a certain age (probably the head waiter) was aggressive with the young waiters/waitresses and made inappropriate remarks/jokes towards the guests. I think it's time for her to give way to young people...

Very nice waiter and nice place, but as for the dishes frankly it wasn't the best, received cold and floury perch fillet, ask the waiter for a tartar sauce because apart from a little piece of lemon to season there was no nothing else and I am told there is no tartar sauce in the restaurants, first time I have been served perch fillets without sauce, it is a shame because the welcome was friendly.

Very impressed by the variety of items available in the menu. Many vegan and vegetarian options to choose from. Prix-fixe dining takes the guesswork out of ordering. The best items of the day are pre-selected for you with an aperitif, salade or soup du jour, entree and dessert. I loved sitting in the outdoor courtyard. A great place to people-watch. Excellent service, dining atmosphere and delicious cuisine!

We ate very well here. All the dishes were beautifully presented and tasted very good. There is a small minus point for the temperature of the main courses. Although everything was served on warmed plates, the temperature of the food was on the lower limit, i.e. lukewarm instead of hot, and the vegetables were almost cold. However, this didn't affect the taste. I wanted to try the Menu du Terroir, but it was no longer available because the whitefish fillets were sold out. But I don't see this as a negative point, because it just shows that the fish is really fresh (and therefore can run out sometimes, depending on the catch) and not some frozen product. The service was super friendly and attentive. We liked the atmosphere in the historic building.

We waited for friends who were leaving an unreserved table, and the waiter told us that without a reservation it was impossible to eat. The table was not reserved and had just been vacated. It's hard to be less welcoming.
