We ate Thursday evening with a couple of friends at the Maison rouge. Everything was excellent, from the scallops to the venison tartare as a starter, the game as a main course for everyone with a super tender venison shoulder and finishing with a crème brûlée and a very original tarte tatin flambée. All accompanied by fruity and perfectly matched local and Valais wines. The service was very friendly, very good advice and attentive. And the value for money is truly unbeatable. We go there from time to time and have always been very satisfied but I find that since our last visit there has been clear progress, in this price zone I don't think we can do better.
