I got takeout from Baggis and ate it while sitting on the dock. The packaging is buffet style and you can put about 4 types of food and rice in a lunch box. The price is set for how much you put in it, but the container is quite large so you can fill it up and eat to your fill! All the food was delicious, even the noodles and tofu! The price is cheaper than that of restaurants, and I enjoyed my meal while looking at the mountain range when the weather was nice. And the boss is kind too~

Fantastic food in a small restaurant. Although there was a buffet, another vegetarian dish was specially prepared - perfect service. Dogs are also welcome.

Tiny, pretty place, really great atmosphere for a snack. The food is very tasty and authentically Thai, there were four different dishes as a buffet to create your own with rice and various drinks. You can also take food with you. Absolutely the best was made of the small space and the solution with the small buffet is perfect. The hostess is very friendly. We will be back.

I am giving 5 stars just for the service . We had reached at the fag end of the dinner service , yet the owner, the lovely beautiful lady , rustled up a delicious course for us. Will never forget her friendly , affectionate yet professional approach ever. The cocktail - (I had London mule) was great . Recommend the place if you are in Weggis .

We had a great time with my darling in this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, the person who runs the restaurant (alone when we came) is extremely nice and very helpful. The restaurant is very close to the lake and small and charming enough not to feel oppressed by too many people! The decor is very charming with the added bonus of a small space for children to wait in a good mood if you have any. The icing on the cake, the prices are more than affordable, we highly recommend it and we will come back with great pleasure! Thank you for this delicious evening!

We stumbled across this restaurant on Google and boy, it didn’t disappoint. The owner was very friendly, it’s on a quiet street with a view of the lake and most importantly the food was exquisite. Attention to detail on all fronts 5/5. Highly recommend if you’re in Weggis.

By far the best food I have had in Switzerland. Who knew it would be Thai food? The beef panaang was absolutely amazing. A must visit!!! Completely worth the boat ride from luzern.

I was at Mameli's in Weggis today for a private event and was thrilled with the location, with its warm ambience and the great hosts Nadine and Linda. The dishes, I was able to enjoy a coconut soup and a dessert, were wonderfully prepared, beautifully presented and tasted great. It's worth a visit.

Easily the best food we’ve had in Switzerland. The chicken satay with peanut sauce and rice was incredible, and the coconut soup cannot be beat. Also, the owner was genuine and welcoming. Highly recommend when visiting the area!

Had a great girls' evening there last week. The food was a short trip to Thailand (changing menu, small but nice😉) and the cocktails were also made with a lot of love.😋Nadine is a warm host, relaxed atmosphere, not your typical restaurant chic... . incredibly fine, cozy, stylish, uncomplicated, child-friendly and healthy. excellent coffee in the morning. Beer and prossecco are always cold. just awesome. That's exactly what we were looking for in Weggis. see you soon team mamel's! ps. Don't forget to use the toilet ;)
